Why do we always rule out mental problems in culprits, well it is an indicator of underdevelopment. A competent judge will first refer this case to a psychiatrist before entertaining the case. |

It is important that I bring to the notice of this trend that what Boko Haram is currently doing is against Sharia Law. What an irony! The Sharia codes have provisions for muslims and christians to coexist in the same society .We know very well the sharia codes. Nigeria cannot presently protect itself against Boko Haram because we are facing a scenario of decades of security degeneration. Why will you pocket money meant for the security of the state, or use it to pay pensioners. What I can only tell our governors and local government chairmen is that '' You see, the problem will consume both of us, because you are a greedy thief" They left people in abject poverty, some evil men came in disguise and gave these people solace, and food, and told them that the Christians are the enemies. the sadder story is that muslims and christians will continue to fight each other instead of fighting their leaders. |

@deandavid siad d way i see this issue is vry simple,if truely muslims that claim islam is a religion of peace, they should try extra harder to cleanse their image by fighting this boko jharam people.else i see all of them (muslim nd boko haram) as blood thirsty religion n people. come to think of it, these people are fighting for the islamization of nigeria, and it is the ultimate goal of islam to convert unbeliever, which therefore means they are fighting for the benefit of their religion, nd if boko haram succeeds, all muslims will rejoice. so no muslim ll conderm dis peoples act, because it is the religion they r preaching nd spreading. i think if truely the emirs , sultan, imams nd muslim in general rise to truely conderm this pple.it will go a long fo help nigeria remove these killers in our mist. The muslim clerics are afraid because when you do so , people with AK47 will pay you a visit the next day: the govt cannot protect themselves not to talk of you. That is why I stressed the word ANONYMOUS. High profile muslim scholars and village heads have been assassinated by these people. Also, the aim of every religion is to get as many converts as possible, but we are supposed to do that factually not physically. Lets try to convince each other to be muslims or christians instead forcing each other. These groups in the past use daggers and sticks, now they know how to manufacture bombs and they have guns. every northern city should strengthen their local vigilante, train and register them to fight boko haram. |

Extreme Islam has been a recurring decimal in northern Nigeria since the late 70s. The likes of Maitatsine, Dangungun, and shite Nigeria championed by Elzazzak etc are very good examples. This groups have had resistance from the contemporary Muslim community in Nigeria. The irony in this issue is that the leaders championing these groups are well learned and are exploiting the poor education of their followers. The shite Elzazzak was a first class student of econmics who after graduation refuse to serve his country in NYSE arguing that he rather serve his God. But thesame Elzazzak later served as an adviser in kaduna state government . The murderd Boko haram leader Used sophisticated phone gadgets, and cars but yet preached to his people to shun western education. When his wife had complications during child birth, it was a Yoruba christian doctor that treated her. These series of suicide bombings are beyond politics and is the greatest threat to Islam in Nigeria. To engage these people we have to first tackle them in an ideological warfare before any form of physical war combat. Muslim clerics have to anonymously go on air, in newspapers to bring out Koranic arguments that these suicide bombers in Nigeria will not go to heaven, because boko haram told them that is an easy entry into heaven, We can remind them that the Prophet only attacked those that attacked him, and that he also forbid the killing of unarmed, children and women in any form of warfare. Remember a suicide bomber is not fighting to win any war, he is fighting to express an anger. But muslims + christians can fight Boko haram. if we refuse to see it as a muslim christian crisis because that is what they want. |

Dualcore wrote Bandwidth is an addition of upload and download traffic over a given period of time. The meaning of bandwidth could simpler than this, but to understand BANDWIDTH you also need to understand THROUGHPUT. A couple of analogy could help. Take your website as a bowl of milk, and different people want to take from the milk. If they come with straws of different sizes then some people will consume more than others. Take those straws as different bandwidths. Or rather you can use different sizes of pipes of water. Compare a pickup van and a long vehicle trailer. The pickup will deliver products faster than the trailer( this is internet speed) but the trailer will take more goods( in this case we mean bigger bandwidth) When you buy an internet facility that could support an internet connection of 200MB per second . but what you are currently getting is 100MB per second the 100MB per second is your THROUGHPUT, and 200MB is your BANDWIDTH |

Politics / Re: Six New States For A New Nigeria by medoski(m): 10:44am On Oct 31, 2011 |
It will be extremely difficult for an igbo man to become the president of Nigeria Democratically, except through consensus. The same igboman that was shouting for rotational presidency a couple of decades ago is now silence because rotation won t favor him now. take a look at Imo state and make an empirical analyses of what they got from the federal coffers in the last ten years, it is more than a trillion Naira. how has the center hindered the effective utilization of a trillion Naira, instead you see pockets of cult groups scrambling over state allocation. Why not try another civil world, you may succeed this time round. |

Google has done their part, it is now left for us Nigerians to develop sites using our local language for better assimilation, Nairaland for instance is supposed to be available in every Nigerian Language. Then our intellectuals in various language departments in our University are supposed to work on translation codes that will enable Google to use their translator to translate our local language sites to English |

The authority is not supposed to kill their leader, because he is the only one that can negotiate with the government . Now you can see how incompetent nigerian security agencies are, especially the sss. Their salary is just running for nothing, no proactive plan work, no blueprint , no stratagem. |
