What causes menstration??

Lack of secretion of estrogen and progesterone by corpus luteum is what cause menses. The bleeding is caused by lack of implantation on the endometrium of uterus. For successful implantation, the Uterus must be in secretory phase, and the ovulation must have occurred.

Unfertilized ova , will degenerate 2 days after ovulation.

So immediately after menstration , no matured Graafian follicle, and Uterus is not ready for implantation.

No preg, except a ova will be fertilized outside the uterus.

If u listened to radio Nigeria yesterday, u'll notice the presenter asked this question to the Johesu leaders, even the so called non medical consultants abroad don't add Drs to their name when introducing themselves, because they know it would be a distraction to patients,and they were mute.He said how would it look like when everyone in the hospital suddenly start bearing Doctor. I have no issues with ur title, however I believe if we must use certain titles, it shouldn't be in a clinical setting, as it has no impact on patient care. Kindly refer to John Hopkins Pharmacist fellowship documentary and see how the tutors introduced themselves, only the Medics introduced themselves as Doctor. It's all common sense, but when fighting a partisan fight we throw away reason.

Can you explicitly explain the chaos it will cause in the hospital??


If a patients should come to the hospital, he goes to the reception not straight to the Dr . Everyone Job is well spelt out in the hospital environment. No Lab scientists will attend to a patients that comes to him when passing by in the hospital without the scientist giving direction to appropriate place . And even in the hospital, we have G.p, and consultant in different field ( O&G, path). No patient in the hospital that needs an hematologist goes to a gynaecologist.

America is over a 100years old, but when u tell an American, I want to go see my Doctor, he knows it's a Medical Doctor. Sadly, Nigeria despite being poorly ranked in health care, wen people say I want to see a Doctor, Johesu especially the Lab Technicians/Scientist they want people to know it's not a Medic they mean.

When you speak of quackery, it is being perpetuated by all sectors in Nigeria. We have Auxiliary nurse trained by Medical Dr, acting as Dr in there private clinics. We have chemist posing as Surgeons. Anyone doing jobs not covered by his licence is a quack, and the necessary authority should clamp them down.

I never quoted you nor mentioned you, I just cautioned a colleague about you. There is no blessed day that I will go to the health section, and not see you through jabs against other health professional especially Medical Laboratory Scientists.


And you saying that MLS will suffer a major blow, let them punch us first. Last I check , MLs started from Aimlt in Nigeria, to 4 years Bsc Mls to 5 years BMLS. And after intern ship, we start in the civil service from Level9.


But sir, how does growth of other profession affect Drs?? if cleaners decide to become doc of cleaning and clearing, how does that affect me. The sky is big to accommodate everyone , develop your own field. You don't need to look for the down fall of others before you progress.

High b.p is 140 mmhg upward, causes can be hypernatremia( too much salt in body), tachycardia, emotional, Atherosclerosis.

I wonder how many ladies who have graduated or are about to graduate from the numerous Nigerian universities actually merited their grades.

This casts a huge shadow over every female Nigerian graduate.

with my little experience in higher institutions, I can categorically say majority of female graduate result is questionable.


I know of a best graduating female student that bleeped a lecturer from 100-500.

She never knew anything, she has access to question and the man always upgrade her result.


Nigeria is a bleeped up nation.

You don't need to be the Director of Medical Laboratory Services before you practice as a pathologist efficiently.

Dr's aren't Director of Nursing services, and there is no issue with nursing care in the clinic.

Ovulation could last for 3 days sometimes, she might ovulate on 21st of Feb, and sometimes the egg might be in the fallopian tube for 3 days.



So there is a probability of her getting pregnant, and it might be for you.

Note she might be cheating and you might not be the owner of the pregnancy.

Engineering, Law, Accounting, Medicine are all noble profession.


An entry level salary for a graduate of Engineering in oil coys goes as high as 200000. Like someone said it depends on productivity. Some doctors are being paid 30000#( corp in state owned primary health care) while some are being paid #50000 ( tertiary hospital corp)..

Pay always differ base on what you offer to the society and how much your organization can pay.


Engineering is cool, but engr are not given the opportunity to showcase there self.
