wharever men! man u alla way |
I was dia when d pix was taken. The police (men and women) where waiting for a truck that will take them to a riot scene when a huge bokoharamic snake slitherd out of the bush and bit one of the poliemen on the toe. So the policemen converged on the snake in anger and are trying to teach the snake the lesson of its life with clubs and battons before trowing it behind bars for attacking a uniformed man. And the ones coming out from the bush went to look for the snakes siblings when the xplosives tie to the snake's back detonated and all died except me. ![]() Olodos and otondos, money sprayer ko money sprayee ni. mtcheew ![]() |

I was also invited for the test but culdn't make it cos of a little illness, was feeling bad until I saw these posts. Thot their pay is so high, maybe am better off afterall, just maybe. Well I get up to 200k where I work but d job is slavery, felt like opting for something less tasking. Could an experinced hand with BAT throw more light on what d job is all about as in pay, job function, job security, etc. Thanks in anticipation and goodluck to y'all. |

It is especially bad when you work with women and they are your superiors. I am one of the thousands of "banking reform"-December Tsunami victims. I was actually laid off and coerced to resign like many others. I didn't know some peoples' hand where in it until recently a former colleague told me how the superiors quarelled in the office and each revealed the part the other played in my supposed demise from the institution, but I thank God for in as much as I've gotten another job with higher pay, I've learnt my lessons as well. When I joined the bank, we had only one lady in operations, the rest were guys. Banking was fun for us, we were our brothers' keepers, joking, working together, helping out, hanging out together, it was one big family in that branch until transfers and resignations hit us. With each guy leaving, comes in a replacement in skirt and eventually, hell was let loose. It became a beehive for gossips, nagging, bickering, idle yarns, prejudice, back stabbing and even tribal bigotery. All these while, I kept to myself. (A mistake I suppose?) Women! This fixture only gives me a nostalgic feeling of what happened in 1999 when Manchester made a dramatic come back against Bayern by scoring 2 goals inside 90th minute to win the champions league 2-1. That night will forever remain memorable. I remember how I leapt in joy and our ceiling fan hit my head, I didn't mind the pain, I continued shouting for the love of the game until my father tip-toed out of his room with cutlass thinking it was thieves. I was the only one awake in the house, my early years in the University. He ordered me to switch of the TV and go to bed. I also remember Ossei Kuffor (Bayern Munich/Ghana) whailing uncontrollably when he realised he wouldn't be getting the cup afterall. Can't believe that was eleven years ago, still fresh om my memory. How time flies. Sentimentally, (though the are in top form) I tip Man U to qualify for the semis. |
the childbirth is definitely a sign of good tidings.if the election is free and fair, ngige must win. But as we know, there's no free and fair with PDP. THE MUSIC HAS JUST BEGUN |
@Texasguy1 I dont really find it funny when people make unfounded statements or analysis about things they don't really have deep knowlege about, I call it propaganda, and its very dangerous. Whether your whole lineage stay in the US or Uk does not justify what you posted, its just heresay. I beleive that for you to lend credibility to such grievious claims, you should site examples/instances that can be investigated, not to tell us that if we have people in such countries, we should know. No hard feelings. |
Dont know why but I dont really dig the idea of staying abroad. Go on holidays, visiting or study and come back, cool with me. But to stay there permanently, huh what you see is what you take cos no be ya papa land. ![]() |
well shaa, me I no just send the guy period. |
@pureminded Amen and Amen. Thanks for your encouragement. |
Dont mean to be a wet blanket but the truth is that I cant afford to be happy on a day like this. I lost my job yesterday evening, one of the Finbank staff that were laid off yesterday 31 Dec, 2009. What a way to start a new year. Only God can help. But whatever happens, its a new year and I wish all Nairalanders a happy, prosperous and blissful newyear. |

Nigerian Politics TO HELL!!! |
Distance! and what it does to relationships. Well my guy I cant advise you to keep another man's child and pretend its yours, that way you'll never know happiness. The lady in question should bear the brunt of her f***up. You should do away with her and move on ASAP. Dont let her plead to your conscience at all. A friend had a similar experience and it looked as if the world has come to an end but he moved on and today, it was his wisest choice. Am not saying its gonna be easy but the end like they say, All the same you are in deep shit and only you can take yourself out of it. Go easy bro, better you than me! ![]() |
Am really really surprised at the response made by most ladies above. It simply shows that most ladies have lost their pride. Whether the article is straight or spiced, the truth remains that irresponsible branch managers/supervisors will always "recommend prostitution" to young female staff. I 've actually worked under a female BM who asked a male marketer to sleep with a rich widower as long as she is ready to bring deposit. Some of these female marketers have accepted the norm for fear of losing their jobs which in some cases an entire family might depend on it. these ladies go in decent and come out dented-so sad and painful. |
To call it a pothole is a heavy understatement. The accident took place in a notoriously bad section of Enugu-Onitsha express way at Umunya. This section has been in a deplorable condition as far back as I can remember. THATS NAIJA 4 U |
@axeman-pls grow up! This is so immature, if you need to apologise for whatever wrong you did to Temi do call her or write to her. You dont need to bug our life with that. Do get more serious. |
@Jeny What you need is just one more time of love making. If you eventually go for it maybe you would have quenched the burning desire to be with your ex lover. But you know it is adultery, think about it. Jeny you will sure get over him just draw closer to your new husband. tufiakwa gi ![]() |

I never liked that guy, he has been always in one scandal or the other. God knows what he's up to this time around. ![]() |
is cosmo still on air. wats up with space man, Ralph and co? |
In all fairness, outright sack was a severe punishment for this staff. for him to demand to see a weapon means he had read the robber and was sure he wasn't carrying anything(may be the robber's voice was shaking or something). If the robber had shown him the weapon, the staff would have complied. For Pete's sake, you cant just fold your hands and get robbed by a harmless loafer simply because policy said this or that. Moreover if the staff had calmly filled the bag, that same policy would investigate him and probably found him wanting in one aspect or another. By sacking this guy, they are encouraging other loafers to make a go at their bank. |
hello poster, can u please furnish us with name/location of the hotel. Cos I know a lot of ladies are looking forward to swimming in that bizzare pool. |
I think it has to do with an institution where there are no laid-down rules on certain transactions. For all I know most banks take one form of charge or the other to stay in biz, eg. Finbank charge N100 monthly for their cards irrespective of the number of times the cards were used. Intercontinental debits N50 each time u make an ATM transaction. Its a matter of choice but then CBN should look into it, I believe a form of uniformity can bring an end to these irregularities. Nairalanders should also endeavour to use subtle word to drive their points we musn't call names. |
love the first poster (1982). simple and cool, am gettin inspired |
