dam4sam: I dont blame you for the above post but it reeks of ignorance!
First, l am well-to-do-enough and buying second hand cloths will not even cross my mind but l know and sympathise with those who do, because that is WHAT THEY CAN AFFORD.
- Second hand Cloths are not dirty, if any of them is soiled by the previous user, they are washed before being sold. - Second Hand clothes are also DISINFECTED THOROUGHLY before they are compressed into Bails and Shipped. If you don beleive me, ty and smell a just imported (juts bought) second hand cloths and you will smell a "Perculiar Perfume" on it and on EVERY second hand cloth. That "Perfume" is a DISINFECTANT and it is not there just to make it smel nice. It may interest you that less priviledged Americans and Europeans (where most of this second hand clothings come from), also buy and wear these second hand cloths, in their own country
That is why l say you are ignorant of how it is.
But the more important things are these: - Is Second Hand Clothes responsible for lack of electricity, lack of Roads, lack of Water, lack of housing, lack of security, lack or non existent health care facilities, dilapidated educational facilities, infant mortality, Boko Haram, Almanjeri Children in the North, looting and Corruption by the Executive and the Legislature, Kidnapping, e.t.c and is the impounding of Second Hand Clothes inside Southern people's shop and destroying their source of livelihood MORE IMPORTANT than all the above problems which this tyranic and clanish Govt of General Buhari has failed to solve in almost five years?
WHY is this Major General Buhari and his henchmen so intent of chasing Ring Worm, while allowing Leprosy to fester? What offense did the South of Nigeria (Igbos, South-South and Yoruba especially) commit against Buhari that he is so intense in destroying them, their livelihood/business and making them subservient to the Fulanis and North in general? No wonder he wants to use the Social media Bill to gag us from speaking against his evil
What will be Major General Buhari's legacy, after he leaves office, if not of a TYRANT STEEPED IN HATRED, CLANISHNESS, TRIBAL AND RELIGIOUS DOMINATION OF THE SOUTH, BY IMPORTED FULANIS OF THE NORTH? Major General Buhari has destroyed Nigeria more, than all the evil leaders we had in the past, put together.
Nigerians are praying and coounting on God to keep us whole until this evil tyrant leaves our political space so that a true Nigerian can lead our country. Voting for this General Buhari is the greatest regret of those of us that voted for him, he decieved us and we were decieved. Sentiments can't always be the order of the day. Ignorance Ignorance. Arrogant of ignorance is the only problem am seeing with you. If you have ever seen the content of most of this second hand. Bla Bla you are defending you will better start controlling your mouth. Call a spade a spade most of this thing are rags That often ends in dustbin. |

Business › Re: Why Onyema Was Flagged By The US - Advice From A US Based Business Man. by megama: 5:51am On Nov 24, 2019 |
OruExpress: I'll make it short.
CEO Allen Onyema (Air Peace) was flagged because in the United States, you don't make large purchases without forewarning authorities. The US economy and regulatory system is designed to flag and investigate anyone who makes a large single purchase, especially if it's not purchased with credit by the US creditor. Their reasoning is that
1. Large purchases can destabilize the economy and add an element of unpredictability to commercial markets. If Boeing makes 1 billion dollars from you 1 year, and doesn't make that 1 billion the next year, uninformed shareholder will panic and think the company is declining. Shareholders are interested in measured, incremental growth, and if a purchase is too large and done without warning, it will cause panic. You are also interrupting the companies planning and projections. While every business wants to make money, a corporation is more concerned with long term survival and controlling it's resources than gain. The wrong type of gain will hurt your ability to borrow. It's important to remember that before large purchases are made between corporations, they usually give each other months, or a year forewarning, and notify banks + authorities.
2. In the US, the only people that make large purchases without credit or lawyers, are criminals. This is what the US regulatory agencies believe. If you spend more than $10,000 without borrowing, the Internal Revenue Services will be notified. They will then inquire into your earnings, your spending habits, and your source of income. If these things don't match up with the ability to make a $10,000 purchase, you will be questioned and audited. During the audit, you will have to prove how you were able to spend that type of money in one go. This applies to any and everyone. Anyone that's able to spend more then $10,000 at once almost always hires lawyers and Financial Advisers certified by an accredited board. This 'financial team' answers audits and fights authorities and investigations while you spend you money as you wish.
If you look at every major company in the US, they have entire offices and buildings dedicated to staffing lawyers and auditors because they're under investigation 24/7. Even small businesses (business that make under $1 million USD annually) have advisors and lawyers dedicated to making it possible for them to make necessary large purposes.
What is ideal in the US system is if you put all of your cash in their banks and borrow from those banks when you need money, against the amount you have. This is the #1 way to keep auditors, the IRS, and various investigative departments away from you because you're no longer a threat to the economy, and there's a paper trail on your spending.
Below, I have a risk of 'IRS Red Flags'. These are the things that the US Federal Government look out for, and when seen, will investigate with the proper authorities. Sometimes these investigations involve more than one agency and this can include the Department of Revenue, Department of Justice, and Department of Commerce. there is this one saying our people use to say "whatever misharp a man has always start from his corehouse " |

The Fuel truck driver have to crash the truck into the open drainage to stop the truck.
The impact of the fall ripped the tank open with fuel gushing into the gutter like the Ochanja incident.
The prompt response of the fire service alerted by the Catholic Church saved the situation, as the fire service truck arrived on time to keep the truck and environment under control in conjunction with the police team.
Reporting live from the scene. The only place Nigerian Road Safety needs work is on this lorry drivers. Which I dont know if it has ever in wilderst imagination come to their mind. Not pursuing Keke. And private car owners for brake light. Blaa Blaa. |

fairfora: Hello nairalanders. I have this colleague who was always sleeping in the office around july. He often complained of muscle and joint pain with dizziness and pain in his eyes and both sides of his head. Sometimes, he would be complaining of slight headache and abdominal pain.
I asked that some test be run by him, including an XYZ just to be sure. He did all that and all was negative except typhoid which was inherent in the diagnostic report with negligible malaria. He was placed on a broad spectrum ciprofloxacin. He was feeling relieved after which the symptoms came back.
He went back to the clinic and was placed on Zinax, a higher antibiotics. 2 weeks later, the symptoms came back again and this time, the dr asked him to repeat the test and still repeat the XYZ. As usual all came out negative except thyphoid. This time, he was placed on augmentine. In short, he completed the recommended dose barely 2 weeks ago and symptoms have returned as I speak . Yesterday, I asked that the test be repeated for the 3rd time same as usual. Please medics, pharms and traditional medics in the house, what drug can he use to get rid of this stubborn bacteria? 5 fresh bitterleaf Leafs. 3 times a day for 1 week. "After 5 days symptoms persist. Meet your doctor" |

13Ebisco: Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has reacted to the verification exercise conducted on Saturday in Kogi West, to recall Senator Dino Melaye.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Saturday, conducted a verification exercise in 552 out of the 560 polling units in the seven local government areas that make up Kogi West.
Despite the fact that Melaye was being admitted at the intensive care unit of the National Hospital and also placed on arrest by the Nigerian Police; the exercise in Kogi West was said to have witnessed a low turnout.
Aside the apathy that marred the exercise, officials of INEC were also said to have witnessed protests from electorate in some council areas, who said they were surprised to find their names and purported signatures on the said recall register.
As at the close of the exercise on Saturday, no polling unit was said to have recorded 50 per cent verified signatures of the total names on the register.
Reacting to the seemingly failed exercise, Hon. Faleke, who was the deputy to the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2016 election in Kogi, late Abubakar Audu; carpeted Governor Yahaha Bello of not being popular in Kogi state.
Faleke, who took to his verified Twitter handle, wrote, “The recall project has failed. The people won. The outcome today is not just about Dino but the open rejection of the Yahaha Bello led state government.
“Even in detention, @dino_melaye defeated them. Clear sign that Yahaha Bello is very unpopular in Kogi state”.

The incident took place at Chief Chireya’s court in Gokwe, Zimbabwe.
Arnold Masuka, 40, the complainant made his sensational claims before Chief Chireya.
It is reported that Masuka was divorcing his wife because of her beauty which was giving him sleepless nights.
The situation had got so bad he was afraid of going to work or leaving her alone as he feared she would attract other men.
Chief Chireya asked Masuka if he had really made up his mind to divorce his wife and abandon his own young children who are currently still in school.
The Chief urged the couple to continue staying together as husband and wife, but Masuka told the court that their marriage had ended, even before the case started.
