btlasisi: I have always believed that Nigerian Police of today needs general overhauling, total reorientation, and intensive trainings to be able to live up to our expectations.
You can not keep doing things the same way and expect different results, people in government have to think out of box to find the lasting solution to problems of policing in Nigeria.
Let us ask our self this pertinent question who stand to gain or loose if we have good and respected policing in Nigeria?
How can we expect our politicians to shoot themselves on the legs, strip themselves of portfolio carrying uniformed personnel called police simply to make us happy.
My heart bleeds for the future of this country.
Check out the number of police left to defend masses and the number of police following the politricians politicians and oil workers expatriate.
Se the arithmetic: Titled Politicians = Power= Police+access to public funds.
If you fight corruption and re-equip police then you have succeeded in creating an ordinary and not powerful office holders (politician). WORD! and to add to the already digusting system they maim innocent citizens and showcase them as criminals just to save their a s s and receive compliments and promotions. |

There is going to be atleast a decade from when they leave home for college to when they find a woman. Between those years, they'll need to survive on their own cooking, not buying useless fast-foods up and down. They'll need to survive on their own.
I mean, ladies, why wont you want to train your sons to become wonderful chefs?
in this economic situation?? They should find a better job a good paying one at that and leave chef work for the woman, |

readydad: Of course since boys have 2 hands and one mouth and usually bigger appetites, they should learn how to cook and take their turns in the kitchen chores. As a kid we rotated the chores equally and my sisters can change sockets and car tires as well as men can . My parents believed all skills were to learnt equally for survival in any situation topic says the boy can cook only if it is right for him to cook while the girls 'play' around |

kobikwelu: when i was little, i was taught the basics, like washing plates, fetching water, sweeping the hause,
i have lots of sisters, so most of the times, they are in the kitchen , it does not mean i cant cook, its just that most women take the kitchen as their territory, where they hold sway and have full control,
BTW when i want to eat sumtin special i just stroll into the kitchen and prepare what i want
as parents teach your boys how to do domestic stuff, when they are little, it helps them WORD! |

ada24: so what are boys meant to be doing in the house
na wah o - and this will be the same boy that will grow up and expect the wife to be joint breadwinner and not help her in the home.
if i have a son he will be taught to cook and tidy the house. wow i wonder - if in 2010 u are asking this that means parents are still rasing boys that do nothing in the home and have their sisters bring them water to wash their hands when they want to eat garri mind you I know how to cook I just wanna ask if its proper for the boy to do so when d girls are in |

Back to your question you are not dumb but got problem that need to be fixed before thinking of getting married. Because it may lead to getting married to wrong person due to lack of experience which i see that you are running from now. Thats more reason I hv to exempt myself from any r/ship for now. |

Jaytee67: I read Accountancy at the University of Ilorin (1991/92 graduate). My favorite courses then were Business Law and Company Law. The reason being that those courses made one read wide and the case therein were very interesting. It got to a point that we nick-named one another in the class by some important jurists name such as Lord Dennys and co. Though am a chartered accountant today and have no regret, but if I have my way (that is to say if I am less occupied) I will like to read Law in the years coming. some guys too dey form in here.WTF! |
