PoliticsRe: Southeast States Owe N13bn In Tax Arrears by mensdept: 8:58pm On Sep 02, 2010
1. This proves we have bad leadership in the "East", and the people are directly/indirectly complacent

2. What about the North, the West, and other zones, including their leaders at the top? IBB alone owes Naija people, including Niger State billions in arrears

Dat is d mentality with Nigerian football officials/coaches, n dat was exactly d reason why our football is going nowhere buh backward. So TT was dropped b'cos SE fukked up in S.A, is it his fault? Or didn't dey see his performance dat he played a very good game in all d matches he played? well, some1 asked a question earlier n im also lookin forward for an answer to dat question. N d question is: IS NIGERIA STIL PLAYIN FOOTBALL? undecided
Is this game (vs. Madagasy folks) the last game Nigeria will be playing? If TT isnt in this squad so? I thought we were trying to move forward and bring in some new prospects, or should we wait weeks until June 2014 to start experimenting?

stop mixing people culture with religion i know its hard but why does every crime committed by someone from the middle east or arab nation immediately link with the religion, a racist is a racist he is not racist because of teh religion but because he is just racist same goes with a despoiler, thief fraudster etc

are the dark skinned hausas subservient to the light skinned fulanis?
My guy, no one is mixing anything here. Its pretty much a shame when the Arabs are telling una to stop acting like mumu. And yes, from Dan Fodio to Yar Adua, the Hausa are subservient to their Fulani feudal rulers.

To you, your interpretation, your reality, your existence - your world.

Outside that well-defined and contained "you", that view also becomes meaningless. No?
Perhaps, but this is nothing more or rather has become a simple "feel good thread" for Ndigbo. Clap for yourselves and your rediscovery.

If we are going round and round on Igboland is this big and that wide,,,oh no, it actually has this and that, and Ngwa and Anioma-no WAWA and Ikwerre, oops Bende and Mbaise people, sorry, NdiAnambara and Owere people, yes, we have trivialized it all.

30 pages and counting, yet you wonder why the battle for 2011 doesnt include Igboland and its environs.  huh lipsrsealed

PoliticsRe: We Don't Want Jonathan: Northern Youth Group by mensdept: 4:16am On Sep 02, 2010
ferari90:
Youths from across the 19 Northern states of the country under the aegis of the Arewa Citizens Action for Change (ACAC) yesterday ended their meeting in Kaduna State, with a resolution to organize a rally in Abuja next month to ensure that power returns to the North.

Addressing newsmen after their meeting, the chairman of the Joint Arewa Youth organization, Malam Nastura A. Shariff, said the rally would be held on September 1 and that over 100,000 youths from the North have indicated interest to participate in the rally.

“We are not going back on our stands that power must return to the North. To make our stand known to the president, we are staging a rally next month. Many friends of the North from other parts of the country have indicated interest to join us. The rally will start from the Eagle Square and will terminate at the State House, Abuja. It is going to be a violent free one,’’ he said.

He said they decided to stage the rally, following the refusal of President Goodluck Jonathan to grant them audience.

“We were thoroughly disappointed that our legitimate request for audience with the president, to register our protest against the 100 Northern politicians’ position was ignored for very unclear and obviously undemocratic reasons,’’ he added.

He said the failed pro-Jonathan/Namadi solidarity rally in Kaduna last Saturday was a clear signal that any unpopular idea would not work in the country.

The group wondered why former president Obasanjo, who was a beneficiary of the zoning formula, would spearhead moves to jettison it.

The youths further pledged to support the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to present a bill to the National Assembly on political thuggery and drug abuse.

“The bill will ensure that any Nigerian aspiring for political office stands disqualified once he/she is found guilty of using thugs to harass, maim or attack perceived opponents,’’ they added.
And we the Africans dont want you or your sponsors in Arabia

Dsame question goes to d France team n also d Italian team. Even wen nigerian players wia playin in d best clubs, d glorious extent we have gone in d world cup so far is d 2nd round, so i don't see any big deal even if ALL Nigerian players R playin in "Bangladesh" league. So long as dey honour National call ups n give dia best, wia dey play is nottin to be complained/discussed about!
Thank you, It doesnt matter that Naija players play for the best teams. We need great players than can play together under a great coach sponsored by a great FA. The North African Duo of Egypt and Tunisia have won the Nations Cup since 2004 (4 cups) with largely domestic players. What of Spain 2010?

As for Yobo, I think he's part and parcel of a lackluster national team. As skipper he doesnt inspire confidence nor command the game. So the SE need to move forward and allow those useless players to transfer or be loaned till kingdom come. Time to move on
PoliticsRe: Nigeria At 50,do You Think The British Left Us Too Early? by mensdept: 5:28pm On Aug 27, 2010
pappilo:
You mumus castigating the poster have no brains. The poster is not begging the white man to come back nor is he/she saying that colonialism was a good thing. All he/she is asking is did the British leave too early (since they were already here)?

My answer to this is YES!

Angiefan has made very good points and has covered base on almost everything i can think of. All I will add to what she has said is Hong Kong. The British only left Hong Kong in 1999 and it was definitely a blessing in disguise for the country.
Nonsense. Are you guys kids? No serious country, including your God in LONDON, would ever argue that foreign rule was ever better for them. It may bring about certain changes, certain new ideas, but ultimately, the destruction of that nation forever.

The problem with Naija is not whether Queen Eliza left us in 1960 or 1980, but the leadership and culture our people had and have, that accepted and encouraged that poor leadership.

You refer to Hong Kong, lol. China with or WITHOUT Hong Kong can never be colonized by any WHITE POWER, and today, can talk trash to US, a place that they have even bought up billions upon billions of investment, loans, and land.

SO please, think clearly before posting and dont show the world that you think like a typical Nigga.
PoliticsRe: Legalize Prostitution In Nigeria by mensdept: 5:07pm On Aug 27, 2010
Legalizing prostitution in Naija will be catastrophic.  Someone is saying lets do it and have the girls have regular checkups and co, Lie Lie. When people dont even obey simple rules and now you want them to go in for checks and co. Furthermore, many of our people overdo "Western-inspired" (even Arab inspired) notions, i.e. "Mountain of Fire International Church", "Most Supreme Sharia Council", etc. So no, I dont want 12 year old Britney Spear wanna b's parading on Zik avenue for pimps

That usually happens in Naija in most elections. Imagine, those who may have made a real difference in our soccer industry woefully lost to politicians and businessmen.

Among the past former military rulers, many Igbo would say that IBB did more for Igbo interest than Gowon, Buhari, and co. Yet it's absurd to say that any Nigerian presidential aspirant that "happens" to bear an Igbo name should wait until 2015. Why? And really, would an Igbo presidency really solve the ethnic divide of the nation? What do you guys say?
RomanceRe: Are Nigerian Gals Jealous N Spiteful When They See Prettier Chics? by mensdept: 4:21am On Jul 24, 2010
The answer is a resounding yes, for many but not all. You could say that about women in general- White, Black, Asian.

Many (Not ALL) Naija women I know simply cant stand not only another woman looking better, but also doing better, or naturally better.

Same with many (Not ALL) Naija men.

Yet, for these that do, you'll find that they are selfish and greedy, and actually dont have nutin to offer atooooool'

I wonder if the women are happy with themselves?

Are they happy on their own, or happy when the man/husband does all the work, and furthers the woman's private agenda. Really, it takes a large amount of divine intervention to stay married for the better, at least a pastor friend of mine married for 50 yrs told me.
