The Nigerian military has become more professional since 2000. . . They deserve the praise. . .and about governance pls direct that to the politicians. . . stop bringing your rubbish here, everything is not politics. . this is a strictly military thread. . .
You are simply daydreaming, This is not USA, France, nor China. Have you been awed by their military and decided to bombard us with useless images to feel good about being Nigerian, or that Nigeria is now on their level (even Militarily) I will say a million+1 times that this thread is nonsense ![]() |
The title of this thread should be "Some potential signs he'll never marry you and here are seven to begin with" |
Dont get pregnant for him. Dont be stupid. |
lexyy:That pretty much sums it up. Being nice gets you no where, except if you did something really bad to piss her off if she didnt do anything to deserve it. You see, even that last sentence was a run-on and is similar to Women---confusing. But what isnt confusing is that women that are interested in men are interested in MEN, and not nice guys or friends. Also, there's no straight track answer to your/this dilemma, except you have to not be so concerned with winning her approval of ALL your actions |
abi |
And what about at the UN, why not only developed nations as members? Even in the Islamic Conference, only nations who ban their people/Senators from marrying 13 year olds (like Egypt) should be members abi? 2 spots or 12 spots na same thing, as long as corruption and unpatriotic officials and players are allowed to represent us, the results will be the same. In every world cup there are teams that dont do well, and sometimes they can all come from the same region. Yet, in some world cups, you actually get great performances from countries that are from the same region. So reducing the number doesnt solve our problems people. |
How many of these persons in NFF even know anything about Football/soccer? How many know what offsides means? |
It makes no sense, but who is surprised anyway, ![]() Jonathan and his friends in government are terminal retards, and to think some folks applaud him for this?! If NFF can't be restructured, then STOP FUNDING them, na by force?? let them seek funds from the sorry local leagues they organize like every self respecting Football Federation, just STOP FUNDING NFF!!! No matter how much sugar you add to faeces, you are still eating poo! but why I dey analyse this arrant nonsense sef,
It's not that simple. It's not about simply not funding them and its over. We need better results from our leaders, from Aso Rock to Glass House. NFF will definitely get their funding from willing donors, especially those seeking writeoffs or kickbacks. They will also receive money from CAF, the West African Soccer Groups, FIFA, and even European teams like Chelsea who may donate for "African Youth Development". The leagues are "sorry" in management and infrastructure, but certainly not lacking in raw talent. The national teams have promising and performing talents as well, along with some decent local coaches who can coach. The problem is NFF and FIFA rules and regulations that sustain invincibility of FAs. There's no real other alternative to ridding what would have amounted to the perpetual rule of LULU and co., which would have put Nigerians (players, officials, etc) in danger. Imagine Nigerian players being stranded at airports, hotels, and stadiums because of the ignorant members of NFF who care only about their pockets and position. |
Onlytruth:Of course we all know that at least then, no black power could defeat Biafra, and that the then Biafra did what all the 9 states (+2 of Delta/Edo) have till today failed to do. Yet today, as I've said before, Igbo are all the same, as their counterparts in Kano State, Ogun State, etc. (AT least leadership wise) State Police today would serve the interest of the feudal rulers of Ala-Igbo and won't do anything. Has anyone been to Anambara state recently, or Imo State. There's police all over the place, along with checkpoints all over. Is that the state police you want, one operating under a corrupt and rigged leadership? |
He's doing a Ngige move--reach out to the people, especially by playing on their sentiment, and hope they will now rescue him. Well, let's see, afterall APGA is still factionalized ![]() |
Its not about posting pictures of tanks and aircraft for the whole world to see. Its about good governance in Nigeria, along with ensuring that our military is professional. This so-called "tribute" is nonsense. |
Look at their faces (the members of NFFAILURE) They look like corruption to me |
Ha Ekwueme, Please go and retire |
abeg make una leave the chick, isnt her roomie cheating on her man too. what is good for the goose is absolutely great for the chicken, lol carry forward dear |
xterra2:LOL |
nonsense An attempted thread to "feel good about one" |
chidichris:Please folks, take a look at this debate under the sports section. There you'll find info on this same topic. I say this because here in Politics, many of you guys dont know that it is more than just "arresting and jailing", and "it is just a game". |
lexyy:Helloooooo, That would amount to government interference Sometimes I think we have children on this site |
Absolutely |
Evil Brain:Easier said than done |
This is indeed big news. But wait a minute, 2 years means what, from this month till June 2012? Jonathan's term expires next year (2011), along with this current government barring re-election. So what happens then? As for the ban itself, people are saying it's not his priority and that all we need is free elections in NFF ![]() Well, FIFA says no govt interference, hence, like the bishops are loyal to the queen (Anglican) or Pope (Catholic), the NFFers are loyal to Blatter and FIFA, and could care less about you and I. So of course that cannot be, since they are using what matters the most-the name NIGERIA. Thus, they need to face the music and the only way apparently was to withdraw from FIFA. Throughout the world there have been revolutions originating from outside the seat of power, that ended up changing that seat of power for the better, as well as an entire change to a system that years later made sense (even though not at the time of change). |
Are these opinions meant to enhance African teams performances? By giving Africa 3 spots doesnt solve the fundamental issues African FA's are having. |
LOL, Dr. Kitaun Well, actions speak for themselves and the whole world saw that Yakubu was simply below average |
MRbrownJAY:You must be lying lol |
I hear that NFF election is in August. If so, I hope for positive change there first, and then analyzing/disbanding/changing of the National Sides-including the Falcons. I was hoping Ideye was gonna play in that last game, he could have been a break out player. |
Yes, 4 months is long enough to see that some players are not World Cup level players. It takes longer to field and mode a team though, but at least there's common sense from the first week of training. Lagerback "could" have done better with more time, but the short time he had, a coach at his level should have done better. Dickson, like Odemwingie, is talking rubbish. They were the ones who were praising the Swede citing trivial reasons (showing of tapes and movies, and rubbish). Even Yobo was talking rubbish, so I'm not surprised they played terribly as a team. |
They are very wreckless on one hand but convenient on another. As for highways, they have absolutely no business there. You can't even get to your destination in Lagos within 2 hrs because of this madness. Anyway, pls Fashola, give those people jobs o' |
Arrest a governor in Nigeria?. Are you kidding me?. Has he been arrested for the lady his entourage assaulted in lagos?. Refer to Nairaland hall of shame.
If you are talking of Ohakim yes, He's an opportunist and no good. |
Intelligent opportunist who see an aloof nation and are willing to exploit them for their own selfish means |
AntKenny:Well my dear it won't At least if it's for the sake of having more numbers of women in NIGERIAN POLITICS. More Hausas, BINIs, Teachers, etc., wont be the answer. |
Onlytruth:Yes indeed, you hit the nail there, but suppose that the election was rigged? PDP would know what to do, and in fact they did what was in their political strategy: To seed governor house to APGA in Anambra. Afterall, why tip the boat when Obi can only do a little here and there. PDP still effectively controls Anambra and includes in it's rank a Compromised APGA. But let's see what happens next year. |
