Often times men think the only things that make a girl happy is buying shoes, expensive gifts, and fancy restaurants. While those things are nice, a gift for woman cannot replace these simple steps to making a woman happy. Happiness is the solid foundation a marriage or relationship is built on. So, ensuring your spouse or partner is happy should be a top priority for anyone dating, married or in a relationship. A little romance can go a long ways to make a girl happy and it can often be done free or very cheap. Things You'll Need: Sincerity Instructions 1 Give compliments- Women need to feel pretty. Women want to feel like they are the most attractive person in the room, even when they first crawl out of bed in the morning. They also love to be told when something they do pleases their man. A simple, "You look pretty today." or, "That was a great dinner. Did you make it differently?" Can go a long way to make a girl happy. Simple compliments tell women that you notice and you care. 2 Listen- This means just listen. Men are "fix-it" types and always try to come up with solutions. Most of the time, women don't want a solution. They just want to vent. If a woman doesn't ask for a solution, most likely she just wants to be able to get it off her chest and find a sympathetic ear. It can make a girl happy just to have someone that she can express her feelings to and know that person is really listening. 3 Touch her- This is a totally different step for women than it is for men. Women just like to be touched simply to be touched. Something as simple as running your hand down her back or pulling the hair out of her eyes shows a woman that you love her. Not every touch needs to have sexual connotations. In fact, women much prefer the touches that are simply a show of affection. If you want to make a girl happy, this is an important step to remember. 4 Be sincere. Women can tell if you are only pretending to listen or compliments are forced. No matter what you do or say, make sure that it is in the sincerest form. Women don't want to hear, "You look pretty today," if it comes out sounding like you read it off a cue card. Getting close to a girl can be the most difficult step in securing a relationship. Embracing shyness can serve as a huge asset in any male's attempts to impress a girl. 1. Be yourself, even if you feel being quiet and shy will not attract the girl you desire. If a girl is not attracted to you as you are, a relationship is not sustainable. Being yourself will attract girls that are drawn to your personality, which will give you the time that many shy people need to come out of their shell. 2 Go out of your way to embrace your shyness. If you are picked on for being quiet or having "no game," it is to your benefit to laugh along. Doing so will ensure that you are viewed as simply quiet or shy and not creepy or weird. Many girls will actually let their guard down more with a shy guy, feeling that the situation is not threatening. 3 Step out of your comfort zone. While it is OK to be shy and an asset to embrace this part of your personality, the ultimate tool for most shy males in impressing a girl is the ability to have a good one-on-one conversation. While in competition with outspoken males, most shy guys will give up quickly. When an opportunity arises to connect with a girl, action must be taken. Shyness is often overlooked if a girl has a chance to see what goes on in your head. 4. Do what you do well. When initially attracting a girl, actions speak louder than words. Excelling at a sport, music or another hobby will draw intrigue while providing another window for a girl to see who you are. Continue prioritizing activities that you love, and girls will be impressed with your passion. In the wild, male animals attract females by roaring, preening, fighting and exuding pheromones. Human males have their own rituals that they perform to attract the female of the species, just as wild beasts do. 1 The Midas Touch÷ Men often use money in an attempt to impress women. From bragging about their income to spending lavishly on dates, whether they can afford it or not, men often think that flashing the cash is the way to a woman's heart. Other men drive flashy cars, purchase the best wardrobe money can buy and invest in expensive hobbies, all designed to thrill and attract as many women as possible with the illusion of prosperity. 2 Herculean Efforts÷Just as in the animal kingdom, men often like to show off their physical prowess to attract women. Eating right and working out regularly are often enough to create a physique that impresses the opposite sex. Participating in demanding sports activities is another option men choose. Superior physical strength, agility and endurance in a man frequently go a long way to attract women. Men sometimes show their abilities by fighting other men as well, often for the woman's attention and approval. 3 Sensitivity Wins÷Men though women traditionally have sought strong, manly men throughout history, the sensitive man is often portrayed as the ideal guy of today. While some men are more emotional by nature, others strive to portray a sensitive side to get the girl. While not too many fellas are going to cry over long-distance commercials to attract a woman, many pretend to be touched by the sight of children playing, a newborn baby, a cuddly puppy or a fuzzy kitten to impress a woman. 4The Lying Game÷ Unfortunately, some men feel that they are not impressive enough to attract a woman by being themselves. Therefore, they embellish the truth when they meet a new conquest. Some merely exaggerate a few facts, while others lie in ways that defy comprehension. While the lie may initially impress the woman before she learns the truth, it's a sure bet that the deception will be a stumbling block at the least, and possibly an utter deal breaker. Men who lie at the beginning of a relationship often continue this pattern indefinitely. |
