Chukky77: Hello Meritl- please how did you confirm your dd was encashed? i went to gtb and they told me they couldnt do it. please can you please let me know...Thanks. i appreciate Hi Shokky, sorry Chuckky. Just the day I planned making efforts to see when and if my draft was debited, was the day my PER arrived. I largely suspect that if you've not received a rejection email or mail and by estimates, applicants around your date of application have perhaps started receiving alerts or long received alerts, is an indication that you'll make it. I.e. get a PER. That was how I consoled myself while waiting. If I start giving you advice to calm down, it will sound as if I am a pro, because I did panic while waiting for the PER mail. Just to let you know that on the day I received the PER, I bought #2,000 recharge card to call the CIO. Before dialling their number, I just decided to check my mail; behold there was the PER mail. In summary, I will advice you just relax even if I know its difficult. CHEERS |

With the gladdest heart, I announce the arrival of the much-awaited e-mail containing a PER; just when I planned calling the CIO to try and get my UCI.
Timeline: 1. Application received at the CIO on the 14th of October,2014. 2. DD was en-cashed on the 18th of December, 2014. 3. PER on the 19th of January, 2015. I am grateful to you all for the assistance, most importantly Ferdimako, Damollins, and the great Solomonwise. |

benik: Hi Solomonwis/Damkollins
I am an October applicant, I Dont have PER yet but checking my ECAS it shows my full details and says in process after clicking that it says we have received your application in October.
What does that mean anyways? Hi Benik. How did you check for your status on ecas. Have you applied to the CIO before, hence having a UCI number; because I wonder the details you used in logging in. |

Big Thanks to Damkollins, Solomonwise,Zeelo, Tola, Yomifowe and all the beautiful people here who have helped out one way or the other. For those still waiting, have faith. God bless us all. Congrats. My application was received by the CIC on the 14th of October 2014 under the same NOC but I'm yet to receive a PER mail. I actually used a draft as means of payment, and have told my uncle to help ask the bank if the money has been encashed. Trusting God. Big congrats!!!! |

By the way, which google form. Pls post the link so that some of us can also track our application.
Thank you. Here you go; http:///FSW14-SpreadsheetBut the form is unofficial. It was perhaps created by fellow applicants to enable anyone share his timeline. This can then be used by applicants to estimate CIC's processing stage. |

damkollins:
Just Relax.... Most DD for your timelines were encashed around November ending/Beginning of December in 2014. Most of them are yet to get PER while a couple of some have gotten it. You may want to confirm your DD with your Uncle's help in Canada but I guess you should focus all your efforts on receiving PER. Debiting realistically means when your Credit card/debit card or Demand draft (DD) was debited...when the money was removed from your account. In the case of credit/debit cards, you will get immediate alert by means of SMS or email while you will not be notified for DD.The only way you will know is if the originating bank can help you trace the history of draft to monitor the encashment. I'm sure you will soon be shouting your PER email receipt on the thread soonest Cheers. Amen and Amen.. I and My wife are seriously expecting it. Thanks man. |

babadee1: Don't lie. You don't want change, you want the same old same old. Nobody who wants change would ever consider voting for Jonathan. If you don't like Buhari and APC there are other candidates and parties, but to vote for Jonathan again is saying no to change. Period. Very nice but your opinion anyway. |

For me president Good luck Jonathan hasn't really performed to expectations but he's still the man for me. He's performed relatively well in infrastructure development, education and has taken a bold step in fixing the power sector. I don't want to believe a man who says Nigeria's problems can be fixed in 4 or 8 years just because he wants power. |

Hi all. Is there any October 13th , 14th or 15th NOC 2131 applicant in the house.
My application was received at the CIC on october 14th and from that Google form, an October 16th application in my NOC has received a debit alert about a week ago.
What's the relative difference in debiting and arrival of PER. By the way, I submitted with a bank draft my uncle helped me obtain from a bank in Canada and inserted into my package, before submitting. |

sevule: Hi Guys
I sent in my application for FSWP on October 9 and I was debited on December 22. For those who have received PER I would greatly appreciate it if you can answer the question below
When would the visa office request for proof of funds? Can you give me a time frame either from when you received your PER or when your account was debited? I want to ensure that there are sufficient funds in my account when they eventually request for an updated proof of funds.
Thanks!!! Congrats. Please what's your NOC? |
