kclub83: please, for those that have applied for the federal skill program, how much is the payment after subsmitting your application coz i need to know to be able to prepare myself for the payment.

The thing is,this person sent a property valuation along with his application( He had part fund in liquid and he felt he could show the remaining as asset).

The liquid fund was accepted (in the form of bank statement) but it was not up to the required amount for his family (because his property valuation that was supposed to make up the remaining balance was not accepted as proof of fund).

solomonwis: Let me respond to this with somebody's very recent experience:



There's no need mentioning your aunt in your application as the very essence of that (point for adaptability) is not necessary.

damkollins: Permit me to ask your family size .....if the amount you have in account is equal or more than the fund you needmfor your family size,I'll advice you to do away with mentioning or evaluating your so called assets or properties.

If you are able to get your statement of account by the end of this week,you can still use it between 3 to 6 weeks.......not a law/rule,it has worked for me before so I'm sure it's safe.
As per your Aunty,including her details does not affect you since you are not claiming points under adaptability.Just make sure you are able to provide all the required evidences as requested ..........otherwise ,ignore her details completely.

Q11,it is not compulsory you evaluate your properties.....no penalties.If the cash you have in your account is enough for your family size,I'll advice you to forget your properties .

technolee: Don't give yourself too much headache my brother. I took the courage to finalise my package yesterday and had been mailed to sydney. Just leave the part for your name in 'native language' blank and carry on with the process.
How far? What stage are you in the process or are you yet to conclude your wedding??. I wish us all, the best in our immigration quest.

Finally, my application is complete. I will be stamping my account statements this morning with my bank. This is the only outstanding document.

I plan to send in my application tomorrow through DHL.
I have checked and rechecked this application and the document.

All the same I want the house to advise on any common mistakes that are possible....so as to do final checking before submission......

i want to ask who should be the principal applicant, am a medical doctor and my wife is nurse i heard nurses has more edge and processing is simpler in respect to credentials assessment is this true? and do both of us need to do the ielts now? or is it the principal applicant alone for now.

1.Its not compulsory but you can write your native names in your dialect there.

sexysisi: Hi house. I was preparing for australian pr until I saw this thread. .I stopped checking cic since last year because I never knew accountants wld be back on the list. I registered for ielts academics because thats the requirement for accountants in Australia but Canada is general. Do I have to change it or i should go ahead with it. Tnx peeps.

ANBAKO: I think you meant to say that the passport is about 3mm longer and not 3 cmm which is equal to 30mm. The latter means you were given double the required size.

If the difference is 3mm (not 3cm)......I dont think that should be an issue.

solomonwis: Where payslip is not available,you can include a copy of your employment,confirmation of employment or promotion letter where your annual/monthly salary is mentioned. You can highlight the part where your remuneration is mentioned. This will stand as evidence of salary earned.

If your work reference letter explicitly state how much your salary is,you need not worry about providing a payslip.

damkollins: [b]1.The generic form has the capacity to take up to 5 dependants for the principal applicant.If the principal applicant has more than 5 dependants(accompanying or not),the principal applicant will use form IMM 0008DEP to complete the quantity of dependants.If the principal applicants does not have up to 5 dependants,he or she is not expected to use the IMM 0008DEP form.
In your scenario if I understood you well,you do not need to include IMM 0008DEP since you do not have dependants except your spouse.
Please note that dependant in the context of IMM 0008DEP is referring only yo the principal applicant ONLY.

2.PCC is ONLY mean for the principal applicant and his/her dependants that are 18 years and above.Please note that dependants in this context does not refer to you parents and siblings.Your dependants realistically refers to you,
your spouse,
your children,
your adopted children(with legal evidence),
common law partner,
grandchild,
step children,
step-grandchildren.....(see attached pix)
In your scenario again,PCC is only requested from you and your spouse ONLY.

3.Passport photographs is to be provided by the principal applicants and his/her dependants (see my description above on dependants)
In your scenario again,your passport photographs and your spouse ONLY is requested.

4.You do not need to include IMM 0008DEP form as it is not applicable to you.
If you are not using agents,you are not also to include the IMM 5476E form.
You are not to include IMM 5604 too if it doesn't concern you.
You are not to include IMM 5409 if it doesnt concern you.
Summarily....Only submit/attach forms applicable to you.
