damkollins: Congrats on the funding secured.... Meanwhile, its better your program commence before informing them. Once you have a change in address/employment/status,then you can forge ahead in informing them. Cheers Thanks chief Damkollins. I just hope the process will not delay further because of my movement. |

Have you done the online banking stuff? You need to have registered for it alongside purchasing a token. |

scoobs: see the IHS number would be on ur CAS so ut is needed to issue your CAS. There us an icon on the ukba website to calculate the amount you would pay its definitely 351 dollars nd that's £225. The £75 on it is for the remaining 4months on ur visa. Thanks Scoobs. Just paid for IHS, and have gotten the IHS number. Next is the tuberculosis test. I've been calling the IOM numbers to book a date but the lines are not responding (I guess been weekend). I also sent them a mail, but no response yet. |

scoobs: pay for your IHS about £225 then send the number immediately to your school go for your TB test be ready to wait for hours you would apply for visa when ur CAS nd TB cert is ready. Thanks scoobs. Will organize for the IHS. Its £150 per student ( I confirmed that on their website). I've got one question- You said if I pay for the IHS, I should send the number to my school immediately. *Question==== Though I understand that the IHS number is not needed in issuing the CAS. What other document will they be using the IHS number for? Thanks. |

Hello House. I've got some good news but no related to the FSWP. I recently secured funding for a Master's program in the UK, to start September 2015.
Please I need to know the right time to inform Accra VO. From my estimates, I should be receiving request for medicals in the month of August or September (October applicant), so I'm trying not to prolong my process time.
Damkollins and Solowise, its been awhile. |

I've just requested for an appointment for the TB test at the IOM in Lagos, though I've not gotten a selected date by the IOM.
PLEASE WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS -.

mcphems: pls I submitted an application in nov 2014 but my International passport will be expiring in September. Do I have to notify ACCRA when the passport is renewed?
Thank you Sure, you'll have to, if your VISA has not been issued to you. By my estimates, that will be the month you are to get your MR. Just my calculations. |

Any idea when i can get the MR roughly?
Thanks bros Hello Skidmarkz. Whats your Visa processing office? I got the PER in January 2015, after submiting in October 2014 but haven't received an AOR from Accra - my Visa processing office; although I'm not sure Accra sends an AOR. Anyway, I'm realistically looking at July or August for the Medicals |

lavivaavril: Hello, I just initiated my transcript process again cos my younger sister who's still a student in Uniben. Thing is, I'm reading on this thread now that I would have to make sure they include an official email on the covering letter and that I would have to add my ECA number with the application which I didn't do cos I'm yet to pay for WES reason being that I want to be completely sure Uniben won't mess me up cos that school is very frustrating when you're not physically there to run things yourself. By the way, i don't know if they will give me the transcript my hand but if they don't, how do I make sure it's correctly couriered? Thank you Well, transcripts are no longer given by hand. But I'm very sure that with the speed post that is present in the school, it will get to WES. By the way, which faculty? In addition, I'll suggest you get a WES number before sending the request to UNIBEN. UNIBEN then incorporates the reference number on the cover letter accompanying the CV they send to WES. When WES receives it, they send UNIBEN a mail for verification; though they can send a hard copy. On receipt by UNIBEN, they can send an email for verification or a hard copy to WES. Afterwards, your ECA is issued. |

cornoil: WES has requested for my 'Verification from Uniben'. Due to the fact that i'm far from Uniben. My source in school said I have to pay another fees for 'Verification' and courier again. Pls how true is this and how much am I to pay? Yes. You've got to pay for verification; #1,000 (95% sure of price) For reposting, well , you can send it to them via e-mail. Not sure if you pay, as I've forgotten the process in my case. |

He has. 2-2 on his degree certificate but when he requested for his transcript from the university ,3rd class was was issued on the transcript. Please can he use it to apply. Pls guru advice As long as he has a certificate, he can apply. But on a more serious note, advice your friend to go and tackle the discrepancy with the school. Also, the scheme is now called Express Entry; not "Federal Skilled Worker ..... Visa " as you mentioned. |

I've sent a CSE to Accra twice. Sent the first in January and the second this April, still with no reply ; except the automated response. I don't know if its because "its a change in job", they are not responding; although they request for applicants to inform them in cases of change in job.
Solo and Damkollins, your suggestions please. |

lavivaavril: Haa wait o, I thought it's just your school sending WES tour transcript and then WES evaluates and sensends you electronic and hard copy? Which one is WES communicating with your school and your school replying them back after sending the transcript to them? Pls you guys should explain further cos I'm getting confused. I thought it's just a one time communication between the applicant's school and WES If you apply to WES, the following occurs: 1. You have to go to your school to send your transcript to WES. 2. When WES receives the transcript, they send a message to your school for verification. WES could send the message by e-mail or by post ( usually the former). 3. After you school verifies it, they can send it back to WES by e-mail ( This is usually like a cover letter). 4. When WES receives it, they begin to work on your case and subsequent issuance of your Educational Credential Assessment. 5. It is posted to your address. All the best. |

tlamp: Hello solomonwis and co,
I'm an FSWP2014 applicant and I've been asked to make ''Payment for Permanent Residence Fee for my spouse'' after I contacted AVO that I recently got married. My question: Apart from raising a bank draft, how else can this payment be made? Can I make the payment via the 'Pay your fees' option on the cic website? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp although for spouse or dependent addition, only Express Entry was stated there. OR is it possible at this stage to send a Fee Payment Form with my credit card details (IMM5620E)? What do you advise? Hello tlamp. Please how long did it take from when you sent a CSE to AVO, to the time you heard from them? I've sent AVO a message since January, but they are yet to give me a reply. I've only received the automated reply from their email service. |
