peterjero:Leave the guy make e dae open e mouth. |
I tire for this dolakpor President we have. The dullest are those who are still supporting someone that is already failing. |
chenn:Yeah. I got the same reply from them last week Friday too. First Bank said it was a CBN directive. Temporary though, they said. |
Ademuyiz:I submitted at the VI centre. Had my interview on the 27th of July. Documents transferred to Sheffield on the 29th. Decision mail on the 10th. Collection mail on the 13th. |
To God be the Glory.
I have just collected my passport with the VISA issued.
I appreciate all your input. |
Etfash:Yes, there is a delay. You should be debited tomorrow. |
You guys were playing in thee class? That's even a ridiculous statement. Anyway, a guy was asked to kneel down by the same Prof when I was in my finals ( 2010). So its not a new thing. |
Hello house.
A friend erred while filling the VISA APPLICATION FORM.
She put Sept 23, 2015 as finish date instead of Sept 23, 2016.
The correct date reflects on her CAS though.
Could this be a problem? |
kokegbe:Yes, you'll have to pay for the IHS again while they work a way to refund the initial payment. This happened to me yesterday too. I'm just gonna pay again and sweat for the refund. |
Hello house. how can one link the IHS he has paid earlier to the visa application profile. I actually paid for the IHS in June but its requesting that I pay again while applying for the VISA. thanks. |
IntroVAT:Ok |
deipiero10:Well, I saw the "college" thing but, it says "students" in some cases. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3158012/Foreign-students-banned-working-forced-leave-UK-course-ends.html http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jul/13/work-restrictions-foreign-students-visa-fraud-crackdown http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/foreign-students-will-be-banned-from-working-in-the-uk-and-forced-to-leave-as-soon-as-they-finish-course-under-theresa-mays-tough-new-visa-rules-10385232.html |
Petitediva14:Yes. Its not good at all. *Non-EU students will be barred from working while studying in Britain *Will have to leave the UK when their course ends under immigration curbs *Students told they can only apply for a work visa once they have left. Well I hope it doesn't pass through as the plans will be presented to MPs next week. If approved, students from outside the EU will have to leave the UK before applying for a work visa if they want to return to the country. |
#GEJwhileyouwereaway, Baba go slow will soon visit USSR. |
Winning which war? Sai Baba will not work again o. |
16! |
dot123:Hello, Nottingham calling. I'm going there too. |
NJN:On successful visa application, a vignette is attached to your passport. This vignette is valid for 30 days. The 30 days could start from your date of intended travel or the date the visa is issued ( if the visa is issued later than your intended date of travel). If this 30 days runs out without action, you'll have to re-apply. |
Petitediva14:Hello petitediva. I've replied your mail. |
Petitediva14:I've re-sent it to your e-mail add on "ph---b--bola@gmail.com" |
Petitediva14:Hi Petitediva. I saw your private mail and I've sent a reply containing an attachment. |
Petitediva14:OK.......... I should agree with you. Its stated that one needs to pay £2,000 initial deposit before a CAS is issued but I felt you already have some waivers hence, you didn't have to deposit. Just asking; did you tell the person you called that you already have some awards in the form of partial scholarships? If you did, please do as she says. For the inbox thing, just check the email address you used in opening your nairaland account and you'll see my email. You are to reply me via that e-mail of yours so that I can have your mail address. When I get your e-mail, I'll forward a doc to you. By the way, I'm studying Structural Engineering. |
Petitediva14:Well Petitediva, you don't need to pay for the CAS. Since you've gotten some help in the form of both partial Scholarship, the U of Nottingham will acknowledge it on your CAS and then write the balance on it too. However, you should be able to show enough proof of funds in the form of a bank statement. |
Petitediva14:Hi Petitediva, congrats on your scholarship at the U of Nottingham. Thank God, I got 100% scholarship too. I think you should try download the application guidance document on the U of Nottingham's website as it clearly states the category an applicant belongs to. I've inboxed you. Try to respond, so that we can align. Which course are you going for too? |
Fingertips:It's possible that Accra is not his VISA processing office, in fact most likely. |
spikesC: |
spikesC:Sure I need to pay. Just that its not used to issue the CAS in my school. |
olatejucole:Well , its not needed for my school. Same with a friend's. Well you should contact your school to enquire. |
scoobs:You don't need the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) Number in order to process your CAS. It doesn't need to be on your CAS. CAS relates mainly to issues of finannce i.e. if you've paid the required deposit, e.t.c. At least, I confirmed this from my school. |
WoodcrestMayor:Well according to the information on their website, the VISA offices in Lagos or Abuja, will be used to process Express Entry applicants alone. Not Federal Skilled Workers Applicants. |
spikesC:But I've already chosen Lagos in the VISA applicaion. But what's the major delay in Lagos? |
Hello house. Please what's the time it takes from when you book for an appointment online, to when you are confirmed for an interview date at the embassy. (or do they really book you for the date you requested?) |
in Abuja.
