damkollins: The documents checklist of pages 1 to 7 should be placed up first.
The documents checklist is to be followed by last 2 or 3 pages containing the barcodes (partial barcodes or full barcodes).
An example is Meritl application of 6 pages with page 5 containing full barcodes and page 6 containing partial barcodes.
You place pages 5 and 6 immediately after your document checklists ....afterwhich you will place pages 1 to 4....to be followed by other forms as sequentially arranged on the document checklists .

Also in addition to the question asked by Seunlovesa.
My General application document generated 2 pages with the barcodes.
Page 5 and Page 6.
Page 5 had only the barcode occupying it while page 6 had the barcode on the top section with the other part having section for names, signature , Consent for Release of Information etc.....

Please advice on which of the pages of the barcodes I'm to place on top of the apps?

damkollins: I know of Gtbank,Plural house ,Oyin Jolayemi Street opposite Eko hotel and suites .
You will get it same day .......although it may be up to 3 or 4 hours from the time you requested it so it's always better to go there early in the morning.

scrollmeout: Please do yourself a favour and have the amount in your account at a date on or before the signature and date on your form. Of course this date should be before you send the application

Most likely you will be asked for a new banks statement at Accra VO before your visa is issued.

solomonwis: If you have a GT Bank account (domiciliary),you can raise the draft on the online platform in Canadian Dollar and request the pick up branch to be one of the pick up branches in Benin. You don't have to physically visit the bank to do this. Just get a domiciliary account,go to your online platform and raise the draft...As simple as that (I know this to be true of GT Bank).

Hello Damkollins. Please I visited a GTBank branch in Benin city and I was told that I can't get a draft in $CAD except I go to Lagos.
I visisted a FIRST Bank branch in Benin and they said they can raise a draft there in Benin but, it will be in $US. I'm very careful not to hurriedly get it in $US when the instructions says in $CAD.

Any idea or suggestion?

damkollins: [b]Depends on the fact that you want to claim points for those closed down job of yours.
If you are claiming point for a job that is no more existing,you will need to present a letter of experience from such place with supporting documents like your payslips and employment letter.In the event that you can not get an experience letter for the job,your only option is to get an affidavit to explain and swear for the non existence of the company again .Also in the same affidavit ,you will use it to state your entry/exit dates,working hours,monthly/annual salary and your job duties while you worked with the company .
This affidavit and the supporting documents of your employment letter nd pay slips while in the company will suffix and your points for experience will be awarded.The supporting documents are very necessary too.....any documents in your possession that like you with the company is fine.
If paradventure ,you are not claiming point for such job experience ,you don't need to worry yourself as it wasted time and resources for CIC to be checking it out.Just list them out in your personal history of the background declaration form and relax.

Hope she can also mention the nonexistent firms in the economic class forms though she may not be awarded points because of the absence of ref letters. (This was the advice you gave me in respect of my friend's plea I brought to the floor of the house earlier).

damkollins: She should fill both forms with her work experience of six months even if there is no letter of experience.....no issues.
CIC will not penalyse but will only not award points for jobs listed without letter of experience.

I've got a friend who worked for 6 months with a firm but is unable to get a reference letter. She is very very safe with her points (over 69 points).
She thinks if she mentions this firm in the "Background declaration form" as part of her activities since her 18th year birthday, but not in the "economic class form", she may be penalised.
Any need for her to worry?

damkollins: 1.Its okay if the same amount you wrote for settlement of fund is the same as equivalent for your summary total of statement of account.
Settlement of fund may not always equal to Assets - Liabilities as you put it.
Example shown should be okay for your question... Assets : $15,000
Liabilities$ 0.000
SOF :$15,000
2.National I.D is not compulsory question....you can just pick "NO".
3.The Marriage certificate received from the registry should suffix for this....you may also include the news paper changer/notification of name change if you have it.If not,the one I mentioned is okay.

Hello house. I've got a question related to question 11 in the SCHEDULE 3: ECONOMIC CLASS FORM.
1. Want to confirm if the " amount written under "settlement funds" will be the same as that written in my statement or account balance. Also, is Total funds available for settlement = Assets-Liabilities?

2. I am not providing any National ID document , as I don't have the national ID card. Any penalties for not filling this?( I did not fill the " NATIONAL IDENTITY DOCUMENT" section in the GENERAL APPLICATION FORM).

3. My wife's docs (IELTS, CERT & PASSPORT ) all bear her father's name. I'm I okay to submit her docs like that ? As I am not doing a change of name for her.(question 3 has been asked and "answered" previously, but I just need a fresher)

You can also take your time to go through it.For us here,this thread seems to address issues that are regional to us in the country but most of us actively monitor the thread.

Your NOC should be fairly stable and wait for you....Just do your best and hope/pray for the best....nobody really knows what will happen in the coming days.

Just hope mine doesn't get filled on time as I'm very skeptical of the Express Entry stuff.
