I also went through Maple. You can get in touch wth them to know if they got the approval letter. They called me after my medicals to say that they received a mail that my application has been approved. Also called to say that d passport has been dispatched .its best u call them. Cheers.

between 4k-6k u will get a very good jacket . they are fairly used but u still find unused ones

I have noticed many people who are resuming in January are travelling before Christmas. Is there any particular reason why? I'm thinking of leaving a day or two before new year so as spend the holidays with family. I'm to resume Jan 8 and I guess I can use those few days to settle down. I stand to be corrected though. Please can someone explain the rush to travel out?

Differs for most people. Am leaving early cos I have an assessment to write and to get a house b4 school starts. I got baaad ass coats and winter stuffs from a market towards badagry in lagos. Its called VESPAR market

cic states that photocopies can be submitted you dont need to stress yourself about getting all the original documents, there've been alot of misleading infomations here so I will advice you to go through the website and checklist carefully follow THEIR instructions. if your application is legit original or photocopy your visa will be granted.

Thanks dear. I submited on d 17th of september. Paper route. Got my medical call on d 29th of october. Did medical on d 3rd of November. Approval letter on d 12th of November.

Hello, friend's. My case is likely unusual.

My Canadian friend has agreed to help me come to Canada and also agreed to help me with job by speaking to the right people as he know them.

I studied Petroleum Engineering and finished my NYSC this year in March with no on-job experience yet.

What are my chances of getting a job in Canada? Would I have to go through school all over again to be accepted like it's done in the US, I mean like obtaining an Msc or something?

He said he can send me Visa. He is quite affulent... Yes, a multi millionaire and we have been friends since 2012. Visa and financial support wont be a problem.

People may be wondering how I got connected to such a person from Nigeria and may likely doubt the authenticity of my story. But all I can say is grace of God at work.

So guys, please help with necessary information that would best suit my case. What and what do I have to do?

sorry Mesh, didn't know you had spoken with her in details already.You know how we humans are, wanna hope against hope for things to work in our favour.I also applied for fall with my wife and son but was refused so I had to apply alone and got it.The plan is my family will join me once i settle in, will apply for them again and by then, my account should also be buoyant than before.Best advice, do it alone!

Its always best to invite them once u settle down. They can never refuse unless u dnt ve sufficient funds shown. I wrote in my SOP that my daughter will visit with her nanny and mum when am on break. If I want, my daughter and her nanny can stay back and my mum will leave. Everything depends on how d 1st semester goes. Am not jeopardizing my future cos of my daughter that will be well taken care of in naija. If I go with her, it will mean leaving her in d care of people I don't know and I will practically be in d library wit less attention to her

on the other hand is it advisable to apply alongside my application for my 25yr old nanny to come on board? maybe this will convince the VO that i will get the necessary help for the boys and study wont suffer...or am I just complicating things?

I guess I wasted my time calling to explain things yesterday. Its best u do what u want and wait for d outcome. If its works, we learn from it, if it doesn't, we will also learn from. And NO u can't apply with ur nanny cos I tried that option and was given a red card. Godd luck

I applied to Royal roads Uni in Victoria BC and got the admission for next year sept. I will start my visa application early next year...now my question is i have 2 boys who are american citizen and i want to come to canada with them....for obvious reasons not to deny my visa my husband wont apply with us, he will probably do when we leave. is this a good idea?

Secondly, will my sons be privileged to all benefits as american citizens...they are both below the age of 2 presently but at the time of travelling they will be 2 and 3 respectively. if not what should i budget for their pre-school?

Hi, I will advise u don't apply with ur kids. I ve a 10 month baby who is an american citizen. I didn't apply with her and my husband because its a big home tie even if u are not working. So its best u leave them 4 now. I had to register her in a daycare and submitted her skl fees receipt and admission letter. This is to show that my daughter will be taken care of while am gone. I wrote my parents will be with her together with a nanny in my SOP.
We both know she can come over once I settle as she won't need a visa.
Ur kids will not be entitled to any benefits because these r 2 diff countries. D cheapest daycare I got was $1200 per month.
If ur child is up to d school age and u are doing a 2yr course in BC province, d child can have free education in d public schools.

I think u shld go 4 something related to what u r doing now cos u ve d docs to back it up and its a good home tie. And since its a family business, it will look like they r sponsoring u to go get d best knowledge to manage d business. But if u r d manager, u ve to show proof that d company will still be running during ur absence. When u get to canada, u can then switch course. A lot of people do it

am doing my own business nd is nt related to IT fields, its buying nd selling nd I included my business registration document. Bt my previous course related to what am going for now, I study physics electonics nd going for wireless information technology

They might expect u to go for something like bUsiness administration/ international business management if u r doing ur own thing now. because what u r going 4 has nothing to do with. What u r currently doing. If u r fresh graduate, they relate ur degree with what u say u are going for. If u are not, then what u are going for will be related to what u r doing presently.
I read pure and industrial chemistry and has never done anything related to my 1st degree. I work with a company that imports and sells things. I am going for PGD in business administration-Global business management. In ur SOP, u should say u r going to acquire business knowledge and want to apply it in ur current field, be it international or local business. I ve been called 4 medicals.

Just relax and keep praying. They is actually no sequence. Besides u did paper route which takes sometime. U will be called next week. Just keep praying. God doesn't fail.
