Stop fooling yourself around if you cannot back up your claim with a constitutional section.
Government has responsibility to operate in accordance with law and uphold standards of democratic order in society.

Citizens will naturally violate laws. We do not build prison for govt, its built for lawless citizens.

When a citizen is lawless govt have duty to apply law.

The govt we expect to apply law is the drum major in leading others to lawlessness and break down of order in society.

Defend this action by the corrupt and incompetent fulani man and atop asking for Constitutional law.

If a citizens violates law lock him in synch with the statute. Dont lock people up and then take them to trial only to storm the trial and disrupt the proceedings.

What kind of nonsense is that?
Animal instincts cannot be tolerated.

We will get this countey restructured by force or by consent so you animals can have your own lifestyle of lawlessness up there. Dont forget to add Shariah to your Constitution after everyone have their region to manage.

What an inept defense of rubbish!

Post the constitutional section that gives you right of revolution against government or to be a terrorist .
Revolution is a buzz word!

Revolution is derived from revolt. Why are citizens revolting against Buhari?

What is he doing that is making people rise up against him everywhere?

Ipob
Zakzaky
Sowore

Why were there no uprising against Obj, Yaradua, Jonathan....why Buhari?

So attend to the issue first before addressing the law.

If you must address the law, it still remains fact that Executive abused fundanmental rights, in addition to disrupting order in court.

and any criminal who is calling for Revolution against any government or any group of terrorists people must be dealt with according to the fullness of the law .
It is part of fundamental human right to enjoy life, liberty and choice. It includes the prerogative to overthrow a repressive regime that denies people the first three. This right is accepted as first law of principles for order in humanity. Whether Nigeria recognizes it or not, it is bound by it nonetheless.

Buhari is repressive. Therefore the right to remove him rests with people.

When citizens rise up to demand that he should make corrections and respect their rights, they are not violating any law....they are just exercising a principle of order ordained to them by creator.

So you will first have to give statutes that conflicts with the first principle.

Assuming you respond in self preservation and arrest and lock people up. In a democracy, the Executive is separate from Judiciary. Judiciary gives him bail and set date for trial. Executive dismisses the democratic rule of oversight and kept him in detention in contempt of court.

The he was in court in an ongoing trial, Executive stampeded court with weapon and seized him again.

The Executive continues to demonstrate lawlessness.

This govt has lost its respect.

I am beginning to believe that Fulanis have deficiencies in civilized leadership. They can only lead where force and terror is included. Without terror they lack a solid template for developing policies and leading strategically to pull everyone along. Maybe we should completely boycott Fulani ethnics in future elections if we desire to have leaders with civilized visions of leadership...

So earlier today we heard that Deji Adeyanju was "flown out of the country seriously sick" to attend to his health issues as a result of the "brutal" beating he received on the streets while protesting for Sowore's release. Thankfully, we've obtained very shocking pictures of Mr Adeyanju standing on a queue awaiting his turn to process his papers and board a flight out of the country to treat his very "critical condition". We believe an air ambulance is waiting for him on the tarmac judging from Sahara Reporters earlier story today. Please keep him in your prayers because from the images reposted below, the guy is literally battling for his life as could be gathered from the bruises on his elbow.
How do we know this is Deji?

Your reporting has to pass "beyond reasonable doubt" test. There are opportunities to doubt you since we cannot independently verify this person to be Deji Adeyanju.

Video of a twerking dancer was once posted online and labeled as Senator Adeleke. It was very believable. The difference in height disqualified it as authentic.

Give us authentic fact to prove the person you claim to be Deji in picture is indeed him.

banom:
So many of us woke up to the surprise Xmas Eve release of Sowore and dansuki .
But those who listened to NNAMDI KANU's radio Biafra broadcast on Saturday 21st december, (3 days before Sowore was released) which he broadcasted from America, will be shocked not just on Sowore's release, but NNAMDI KANU's insider knowledge and connection to international power brockers.

While trying to explain the unworkability of Nigerian as a nation and the hopelessnes of believing in one Nigeria, sighting Afghanistan and the recent America-afghan war as a case study, KANU said " I'm saying this because Sowore will soon be reased, we have done a lot of works on his behalf, and soon they will release him. They will have no other option than to release him. It doesn't matter what DSS does. And I advice him to leave one Nigeria and fight for his people" .

Just three days after his broadcast, and uncanny prediction, surprise surprise, Sowore was unconditionally released by DSS. This goes not only to show that KANU knows more than the Nigerian government, but also has contacts and connection of foreign powers that be.

I fear and believe whatever he says.
People like you make Kanu a bad product, domestically and internationally.

Kanu went through a more devastating trauma where his rights was repeatedly violated, in addition to attempt on his life and his parents. He infact said his mother's death is traceable to the attack on him and his household.

There were pictures and videos and they are still on internet.

Why didnt foreign governments jump in and intervene in Kanu's issue?

Its because Kanu and you guys continue to sell a product nobody wants. But you open thread to glorify Kanu as the best CEO in the world. Really? A CEO with an umarketable product?

How did Sowore, with lesser case of maltreatment in compariaon to Kanu, get an International audience but Kanu could not?

This should be your headache, not his predictions.

Ademola Bello is a Nigerian journalist and playwright. He received his master’s from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

On September 24, President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In it, he assured the world that his government believes in freedom, tolerance and the rule of law. He said, “The rule of law remains the permanent, the unchanging foundation of the world order.”

But on the same day that President Buhari spoke, his government ignored a court ruling ordering the release on bail of Mr. Omoyele Sowore, the founder of Sahara Reporters, a New York-based online news website that has reportedly extensively on government corruption in Nigeria. In fact, several Nigerian journalists and activists are unlawfully held in detention by the Nigerian government for reporting on widespread corruption and human rights violations.

Justice Taiwo Taiwo, who initially ruled that Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) could detain Mr. Sowore for forty-five days, granted him bail on the condition that he surrender his passport. Mr. Sowore did so on September 25, but DSS did not release him, arguing that, among other things, he was not entitled to bail.

On October 4, a second judge, Ijeoma Ojukwu, presented new bail conditions that were much more stringent, including a demand to find two private landowners in Abuja who controlled land worth roughly $500,000 and who would stand for him as guarantors to meet his bail conditions. The judge also banned him from speaking with the press, not to participate in any rally, and not to leave Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. He has not yet met these new conditions.

Sowore was detained on August 3 by the DSS. He had called for a peaceful protest, tagged “Revolution Now,” to demand, among other things, that the Nigerian government end wholesale corruption, fight poverty, and provide universal education. He was charged with treasonable felony and insulting and harassing the Nigerian president based on comments made in a press interview.

Usually based in New York, his trip to Nigeria was his first since revealing Nigeria’s Central Bank lost 500 billion naira (about $1.4 billion) in a failed private investment scheme. Sahara Reporters obtained and published audio recordings made by a whistleblower at the Central Bank of Nigeria. The recordings included Godwin Emefiele, the bank's governor, and other officials discussing how to cover up the loss.

The detention of Sowore comes as press freedoms and free speech continue to be curtailed by President Buhari. The nonprofit Committee to Protect Journalists has documented widespread harassment of journalists in the country, including unlawful detention and assaults.

Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees "freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.” It is time for the UN and UNESCO to speak up about the Nigerian government’s unlawful imprisonment of journalists and activists like Omoyele Sowore.

In the immediate aftermath of the State Security Service’s invasion of an Abuja court room and its re-arrest of Nigerian journalist Omoyele Sowore, the Lagos daily newspaper the Punch announced that it will prefix President Muhammadu Buhari’s name with his military rank, Major General, and will refer to his administration as a “regime,” until “they purge themselves of their insufferable contempt for the rule of law.” In its announcement, Punch draws parallels between Buhari’s government and his “ham-fisted military junta in 1984/85,” when he was military chief of state. For Punch the “regime’s actions and assaults on the courts, disobedience of court orders and arbitrary detention of citizens reflect the true character of the martial culture.” The Punch announcement also attacks the military and the police because they “fail to understand that peaceful agitation and the right to associate are fundamental rights.”

In addition to Sowore, Punch refers specifically to the detention of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim el-Zakzaky, and his wife, and of former National Security Advisor Sambo Dasuki, all in violation of various court orders. It also refers to various governors that have sought to curtail media freedom and the right to demonstrate. Punch claims to be the largest circulation daily in Nigeria. In addition to the daily, it publishes Saturday Punch, Sunday Punch, Punch Sports Extra, and digital platforms, of which the best known is Punchng.com.

During the period of military rule, Punch was known for its democratic and human rights activism. The military closed it three times and imprisoned its editor and deputy editor. It remains to be seen how the Buhari government will respond. The newspaper is based in Lagos, and it and its readership has long been critical of northern Nigerian governance. Its criticism of Buhari is not surprising, but it is worth noting that Zakzaky and Dasuki are both northern Muslims. What is different this time is the parallelism between military rule and Buhari’s civilian administration. Buhari’s supporters are likely to find the Punch stance infuriating. Nigeria’s foreign friends will be hoping that the government takes no move to limit Punch’s freedom of expression. The SSS assault on a court room and the re-arrest of Sowore has already damaged the country’s international reputation.

Already the bull has shot past the gate, too late to lock him in.

There are two generally accepted principles in regulations.

1 is Self-Regulation.
This is when an institution does its own oversight internally, self-regulates and voluntarily observes limits.

2 is Mandated Regulation.
This is also called Mandates or Metered Oversight.
Here, an institution has been repeatedly warned and allowed opportunities to do its own oversight without success. At that poont a Supervising Authority intervenes and set MANDATES and Rules that the institution must comply with. Each incidence of non-compliance can be penalized in form of sanctions or other blockages, including RAISING A COMPETITION WITH AIM TO DISPLACE THE STUBBORN INSTITUTION and ITS MONOPOLISTIC POWERS.

Buhari himself said on his last vosit American President called his attention to their concern about suppressing opposing and dissenting voice.

America, with this letter, has slapped a Mandate on Nigerian Government. It spelled out the limits, which it referenced as the Constitution, and also clarified the consequence of not complying.

Buhari is on his own now.

This means he can no longer deploy troops to arbitrarily kill ipobs or invade the lawyer's home to assassinate him. Neither can they shoot into protesting El Zakzaky followers.

I want to thank the following for bringing us to this point -

Sowore himself
Mrs Sowore
Femi Falana
Punch Newspapers
New York Post
Wall Street Journal
Washington Post
John Campbell of cfr
Senator Menendez and his Peers
CNN
US Dept of State

His methodology is crude and unconventional but we must not dismiss Nnamdi Kanu for his fervent passion to deliver his people from the misery called Nigeria.
I hope he uses this opportunity to his advantage...by branding a new strategy. The old one is a turn off and no foreign govt will support it.

Egoh was one of the ingrates kicked out from NASS.

He won to represent PDP in Amuwo in 2015.

In 2018 PDP primary he won again. The Yoruba in PDP were furious at their party putting a non-Yoruba to represent them in their own territory. At the 2019 elections they voted the APC choice.

Egoh Oghene was not returned to NASS after he lost to APC. We dont know what he is doing now but he is no longer in NASS.

Look at him... They sold this fake guy to Jonathan that beside this Dasuki there is no other person that can manage security of Nigeria. They hyped him so much that Jonathan ended up begging him to accept the post of NSA. Whatever he asked for, and the things he didnt ask for, Jonathan surrendered those powers to him.

Look at the person they said had no match in whole of Nigeria in security strategy and intelligence. 4yrs in prison and his security intelligence could not save him. He came limp and his masculinity stollen. grin

Ibos failed to speak honestly and give feedback to let Jonathan know Dasuki has zero skill in intelligence and security. He was an overhype used by Gusau to finance gun runners who have now turned out to be fulani bandits.

Many people died that could have lived if Dasuki, in his position as NSA, had done the right thing on bokoharam matters.

He should have been left to die in that cell.

Buhari jailed him to serve as lessons for his tribesmen that would collaborate with outsiders to sabotage fulani interests.

Dasuki, a fulani, was used by Babangida, a gwari, to arrest and imprison another fulani, this is Buhari's pain. His offense in money embezzlement is a smokescreen. Buhari is vindictive.

Babangida has been pretending to be sick and avoids the FEC meeting because he fears being thrown in prison at his old age.

There is no difference between Babangida and Abacha. Buhari is forgiving of Abacha because of his ties to Kanuri, his maternal line. This is where his soft accomodation for Kanuri comes from....and why he endorsed Zahra marrying a Kanuri. It strenghtens bonds.

In his military career most of his service year was served in one form or the other in the old Borno State.

Here is a catch....he is grooming Abba Kyari for his succession. No Kanuriman has ever ruled Nigeria. Abacha claimed Kano to break that power exclusion in the primary ranks. If he had not he would never have been left at the top that long to become Head of State.

Alhaji Dipcharima came close and was robbed by Aguiyi in 66 after death of Balewa.

So officially almost every State in the old Northern bloc had produced a Head of State or President except Kanuri.

Tafawa Balewa - Bauchi

Yakubu Gowon - Kaduna
Like Abacha Gowon also did not claim his roots in Plateau. He claimed Zaria, Kaduna State, where he spent all his life.

Murtala Muhammed - Kano
Shehu Shagari - Sokoto
Muhammadu Buhari - Katsina
Abacha - Kano
YarAdua - Katsina
Muhammadu Buhari - Katsina.

Kanuri has never even occupied VP position.

Buhari is keeping his intentions under wrap but it is not hidden from my Third Eye at all. Remember, Im METAPHYSICAL. E good make i praise myself small since Rekhina will not do it. grin

In fact, I ought to open a new thread and share what I see happening....but perharps next year. Buhari does not plan bringing power down to South in 2023. SW and SE just dey waste time thinking power is coming South, VOLUNTARILY. Lailai!! grin grin

Buhari go give power to Kanuri man. Abba Kyari will run. Oshiomhole will make it happen or they will sack him and put a person that would.

Judging by your comment, with whom lies hypocrisy?
Once you hate someone, no.matter what the person does, you will keep hating him. And if you resolve to love him if he is wrong you won't condemn him. Every human is fallible. The fact that you are friend with someone last year or yesterday doesn't mean you should be same with the person today or tomorrow particularly if the object that endears him to you no longer exists. Yoruba, for whatever reason, supported GEJ in 2011. So when he fell short of what they thought he was, they denied him their support in his second bidding. Same can be said of Buhari. The same Yoruba that sang his praise in 2015 lash and condemn him today. That to you is a sign of hypocrisy and unstable mindset. I guess if it were you, the fact that you supported him at the unset, you will keep singing his praise even when you know within you the has nothing tangible to offer.
This is how they ruined Jonathan and forced Buhari on us. Buhari is the result of Ibo's negligence and refusal to bring Jonathan in line when they had opportunity to.
