nitrogen:You are very right... I think we tend to struggle against teams that comes right at us fast... not the first time. Just maybe Fred and Scott... but we definitely need Ighalo |
Goal |
I think we need Matic and Pogba now |
larride:Mou has players defending those lines and links. |
With regards to how this Club is being managed, I have been able to correct my previous beliefs that white people are better administrators. I truly do not think Nigerian politicians would manage Manchester United as bad as these clowns are. I keep asking myself how we got here. |
With that Lineup, someone is evidently trying to save his job. With this kind of pitch we must all pray for our "Chicken-boned" players such as Shaw, Jones, Dalot and Bailey. |
GloryIsaac:I get you bruh but we can never rely on a player based on what he's capable of ... we need players who can show it and who can show it consistently. . Consistency is one of the virtues of a great player not capability. We have had several good players who were also capable but couldn't show it consistently and they are no where around anymore. Most of the players that we always criticise have also had some good spells in the past. Martial has got talent without a single doubt but in my opinion, he's just a squad player at best. OLE is the wrong choice and we all know that. I'm sure in his deepest mind, he knows the fact as well but players must not turn up for 4weeks and go on holiday for the rest of the season. I have since realised that Talent and capability are not the only requirements needed to be a good player. |
larride:The guy has been a fraud and PRETENDER for sooooo long yet he doesn't get the stick from the fans. Sentiment is part of our problems |
Some of the players are not good enough as well, including those we like to praise and celebrate and those we do not really fancy. We have got three different categories of players in this club: World class group (we have only about two). Those that I don't have a name for who are not even supposed to be here at all and those that are past their prime (we have alooott of them). Pretenders (these ones are very unreliable and highly inconsistent and the funny thing is that we celebrate some of the ones that fall under this group. In fact some of them are never criticised or not criticised enough) And then we have OLE who I do not even wanna talk about. The rate with which we celebrate mediocrity now isn't funny anymore. We really need help! |
purpleprincess:Good morning and hope you slept well |
nitrogen:If he truly loves the club as he always claim he SHOULD resign as a matter of urgency. Anything else is just same lies he sabi feed us with |
Newcastle wants to do business with us. It's like saying if you want a Longstaff we have two available for you guys. |
Lana1:Don't read much into what OLE says. .. his words and what he means are always different. . What he says <----- ------> what he truly means |
No matter how useless our current players are, we shouldn't struggle to beat AZ or AP. This is absolutely the fault of the gaffer. Maybe the players don't even have faith in him already and have stopped playing for him...just maybe |
Itsmedozie:Good morning bro, how was your night? |
eph12:Hahahaha...Some of us saw through this man from a long time but Oasis and his patriots felt we were just being pessimistic. They felt we were complaining for no reason. They saw improvements where there were not and i kept asking myself why they were not seeing the things we saw long time ago. OLE HAS NEVER BEEN GOOD ENOUGH AND WILL NEVER BE. simple |
Oasis007:Bro don't quit yet... remember you are an ambassador of hope |
Oasis007:Good morning bro...I started noticing changes in you when you were not posting the press conference like before. |
larride: |
The kind of faith people on this thread were having and still having amazes me and I really respect you guys for the faith. Not everyone can exercise that level of faith (I cant). You are hoping both Martial and Rashford score lots of goals, you hope Lingard becomes Messi or someone close overnight, you hope Pogba comes to the party, you hope Shaw stays fit and plays good, you hope that OLE gets it right... you hope...you hope...you hope... it's a season of hoping. I hate to say this but we should get ready for similar outcomes this season. The way you lay your bed is the way you will lie on it. The Board are knowedgeable set of people and they know what our problems are. As far as I'm concerned they are not ready to solve the problems. They are still cutting corners, unfortunately at the detriment of the fans. We knew we had issues last season... lot's of it. I understand we can not sort out all in one transfer period but there has to be some decisiveness. We signed two players not three. We signed 2 first team players and one talent/prospect. We knew we had issues and still have issues with that Lingard role (number 10) and we did nothing but expects miracle. It's as if our board is led by Nigerian politicians. Most of our first team players are meant to be on the bench but no we did nothing. The transfer window was a disaster. We took almost 4 weeks to sign each player that we signed. As far as I'm concerned, OLE is a motivational speaker and he's no different from Lindgard. You can't give what you do not have. Me I just dey observe.... and hoping... |
Impressive, good job to the lads, OGS and his team. |
Tvegas:I can bet it with you that both Martial ans Rashford will not get up to 20 goals each ... don't even start with Rashford so I wonder where the goals will come from.. I'm not saying Lukaku shouldn't be sold but someone remind me how long it took us to buy each of the 3players we bought. We were negotiating so as not to overspend ...I wonder how we go underspend between now and tomorrow on players. Creativity has been one of our problems, what exactly have we done to solve that issue? The club is on self-destruct mode honestly... |
Against AC Milan it was obvious what we are lacking.. Anyway lemme be an optimist for once... Rashford will score 20 goals this season, Martial will score 25 |
larride:I wonder o.... what exactly has changed exactly? We won pre-season matches the way we have never won before ![]() I truly pray and hope we do well... I truly do. I can't wish my team bad nah. But realistically I see no hope. Maybe some initial gra-gra then back to "normal" |
larride:I share your sentiment... was just saying he would have some excuse or his fans will be able to have some excuses to support him. . That MF is wack and as far as I'm concerned we don't have reliable strikers |
larride:Is there any team in the Championship (not to talk of Premiership) that's as badly managed in terms of the football aspect than United at the moment? The good news is that OGS has got a good excuse. I'm not wishing us bad but our team seem even more weakened now |
larride:He doesn't get tired of saying same thing over and over again, does he? |
Who did we offend ![]() We are linked to new players everyday. It's DIOP today according to Skysport. We are moving closer home, very soon one very average player will be announced |
nitrogen:The guy (OLE) is good at one thing.. Talking. Moyes would beat this Cardiff team with our reserve team, his players or not ! |
OLE ![]() We might get better and more commited players next season with a very very limited manager. I still say it, what made OLE win all those matches wasn't because of his managerial abilities... it was purely the effect of change in manager. Any manager would have won those matches because the players evidently wanted MOU out |
Lana1:You can see they played or mostly plays a 4-3-3 formation. When they play you can see the precision and the training they received is visible even to the blind. Dem go run and run and make the pitch wider for opposition. No be our pregnant players. Imagine us playing against Liverpool at Old Trafford or Anfield, hell or heaven, we will still defend. Even if we use same formation it will be as if dem plenty more than us. |
Leyqute:It might be too early as most of us say but OLE has got his faults as well. I strongly believe he just does not have what it takes. Next season can't come fast enough for us to see. Enough said about the players the better. All these Rashford, Lingard are only being hyped. I have always known the boy is so limited for a top striker. His only saving grace is because he's English. Martial is also useless and might not make it as long as he's in Man Utd. I read somewhere today that he performed better under MOU cos he knew MOU was not buying the hype, so he worked harder to prove a point. He will do well going back to the French league. Both Rashford and Martial should not be getting more than 100k weekly tops. Sanches' wages caused most of these problems. When you start convincing players to sign for you with money, then these kinds of issues will always come up... especially if the players you convince are just average players. Real Madrid also convince players with money but they seem to go for the top class players. Just watch how they will operate during the next TW. Woodhead will wait till last minute to complete deals..mnxxx |
