Oasis007:I don't understand these people really. I believe there are more qualified and experienced people for that position honestly. Some of these decisions just dey feel like the world is about to end. Anyways i hope he proves me wrong |
I also got carried away by this OLE on the wheel hype but I do not think he's the man we need for now. The Club hierarchy is the major problem. To them it is all about the revenue and the business deals and not about the football itself. We once were almost, if not, on the same level with Barcelona, Real Madrid but lack of foresight has been our problem. The mentioned teams do not wait till everything goes south till they shake things up..the same can't be said of us. Throwing ridiculous amount on bang average players has never helped anyone. Renewing contracts of useless English players not to talk about having inconsistent players are one of the problems we have got. I still feel at least 10 of those players must be sold, including mata and martial. Our first team is rubbish and our bench..... The season is over already and no DOF? No proper structure, no direction. Honestly, we should be prepared for some waste of transfer fees again. I remember when City started this revival of theirs, they had a foresight and direction and we can all see the reward now but not with us, we want to build on a shaky foundation. It is now obvious MOU was not entirely wrong nor useless. Maybe they would sack OLE and employ Giggs till the end of the season since the useless players need a new manager to perform for 5-6 matches. |
Sigh. . So where were we? I was one of those that supported MOU's appointment. I supported him thinking he would do a good job but he disappointed me big time. Pogba... Woodhead and many more must follow. GGMU |
195k for Luke Shaw.... Wow wow wow.... I'm ignorant on how these wages are determined but that kind of money given to a player like Luke is too much, in my opinion. I think it's one of the problems we have as a football club |
Lana1:That's what we are saying. Not every blame must be accorded to the Coach... some of the players are to be blamed as well. I feel people think we are absolving MOU of the blame and that is not true. There's a reason some French people are calling for him to be placed on the bench. The painful part of it is that he seems not to understand why people are criticising him... based on his interview he thought it was cos of goals. He's still playing like a player with only potentials while his mates are already doing more than that. He has been tried in different positions and somehow nothing positive has been achieved... that can never be fault of the manager. I await the world cup and how he's going to set the whole world on fire |
Well Its not like some of us just enjoy criticising Pogba. .. that's not what we are doing. We have all said Mou also has got problems and he's part of our problem. In fact I believe next season might/should be his last if he doesn't improve. In this situation we are talking about the interview Pogba gave. Anyway I didn't know Mourinho also coaches France |
eph12:Did you read his latest interview... the guy is clueless. I'm shocked that he doesn't realise people are complaining about his inconsistencies. He thinks they are complaining cos he doesn't score lots of goals. Sorry to say this, one of the problems with black skinned african-decent players is what Pogba is having. A little fame and they think they have arrived. They tend to relax when they need to develop or put in more hardwork. I'm tired of Pogba already |
eph12:Pogba is one of the problems we have at the moment |
eph12:Unfortunately the guy doesn't and has not seen that. He still thinks he is being criticised cos he doesn't score enough goals. Seriously I have given up on him already. I wonder how many players we will need to buy to unlock him.....10? |
Its a known fact we have got some average players in this club. I remember telling people Rashford WILL not achieve much as a striker or even attacker. I think he joined the first team too early and he is not that good. He is just one of the overhyped English players. No football brain in there and very limited. The same can be said about most of our players- either lacking in abilities or in football brain or even consistency I do blame MOU the most though. His approach to games is questionable really. I'm of the opinion that even if we sign Ronaldo, Messi and the best players of this world, we would still play poorly. His responses to questions during interviews are starting to scare as well as put me off. I was one of the people that thought MOU would perform magic... I was one of the guys that thought Pep wouldn't perform in the EPL. I have been massively disappointed to say the least. He's really losing fans already and it's just a matter of time... |
I said it during the last transfer window and I'm saying it again- Our next transfer business will determine our ambition next season. As much as the Manager has been disappointing sometimes, we really need a solid team. We need to spend and spend wisely. So many players that starts for us need to be on the bench while some on the bench need to be sold. The level of our transfer post SAF has been a disgrace really. Until these Mata, herrera, Young Valencia and many of them are sold, na to dey look MOU. We need proper quality players and not makeshifts. Our flanks are dead and buried! One of the ways Pep was better than MOU this season was as result of Pep being precise in his transfer dealings |
Victornezzar:As much as I don't care about Pep I love the way he made the team his. He wasted no time clearing off the ones he didn't like while Mou is still dey do a 'patch-patch' job |
Victornezzar:I also wonder. MOU has really changed, even as someone stated. So many of those players need to go go. |
I was truly worried about that match even before it was played. Our players, most especially the defence always panic whenever they play again at teams that runs at them.... why Smalling is still starting games or even still playing for us is beyond me. It always seem he infect the other defenders with his jittery. Words can not explain how our midfield was sliced through against Tottenham... They made it look su per easy. I stopped wathing around the 65th minute cos it was obvious we were going to lose the match. I think MOU made a big mistake. I think he should have played behind the striker instead of starting him at the left. Martial can not play the right wing and that is obvious to everyone. We still need a solid defender. ... we need a fast and strong midfielder and a right winger. Anything less would make us continue going in circles like we are doing now. Lots of players need to go!!!!!!!!! |
Omg...... Liverpool is the most useless team defensively |
pharod:Liverpool played and went all out for it... they didn't defend. |
Man City.... finally! |
it is easy for us all to judge South Africans or other nationalities negatively. They are xenophobic, they don't like foreigners blah blah blah but have you tried to know what your brothers are doing abroad? The kind of life Nigerians live abroad is disgraceful. Would you be happy if your 10year old girl is lured into drugs and prostitution. Yorubas have theirs as well. The love for quick money has destroyed lives. Are Nigerians the only people on earth. If you have a safe and quiet community around you, just know Nigerians are not there yet. |
Oasis007:trust me I wouldn't mind to eat my words as regards him.... I'm still not convinced about him yet though |
chrisley024:I also have reservations as regards Moura. It doesn't look like we are going to win any major trophy anytime soon with the way we have been handling our transfer business. Our team is full of average and inconsistent players already. What miracle is this Moura coming to perform? Is he better than the players we have? As for me we rather not buy in Jan at all than bring in another average player. |
Happy New Year guys... may good fortune be our portion in this year, both in our private individual lives and for our dear club |
The funny thing is that I don't see how we are going to score in this match...I hope they prove me wrong |
They should provide MOU with 1 Billion pounds for transfer if he wants it. This team is full of average and inconsistent players |
eph12:No doubt he has been playing well recently but he's not the Number 10 that we need... |
MOU killed the game right from the beginning with his selection. Like I said from the start, Zlatan can not play Number 10, at least not in the EPL, especially that is still coming back from injury. I also have issues with MOU as regards how he handled MIKI's issue. Yes I know he was or has been poor for a while but you don't rip the little confidence left out of him. Until we get a better Number 10 we still need Miki to play. Let him play his rubbish but he tries things |
I don't trust Ibra as Number 10 |
I have always said Rashford isn't as talented as we were made to believe. Yes we could say he's still young but I don't see him being great and he might end up like Young if he's not careful. I have always been critical of English players and the way they hype them. Smalling is another player who switches off so easily in games. Lingard and Rashford should always come in as substitutes. We have got too many average players as first team players. Pretenders will not take us anywhere. Even Mata that played so well yesterday is one of them. We need a reliable NUMBER 10. Lukaku was scoring for fun when Miki was assisting for fun! |
I honestly do not blame MOU for the draw. It was obvious MOU knew they would attack us, so we needed a swift counter attack which we got several times but Rashford and Lingard were poor... I don't know Rashford's problems. |
eph12:We were so lucky there |
That should have been a red card. Yea wide, I guess ![]() |
Eish Pogba... Mancity o |
