There is palpable tension and apprehension in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State over the abduction of travellers by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen. The incident occurred Tuesday evening around 7:00 p.m. According to a local source, some strange-looking men suspected to be Fulani were sighted in the bush around Onuaku area of the LGA, and confronted by the locals. They were said to have left the vicinity and moved towards the gully after the Abia State University on the road towards Isuikwuato town. The source said the strangers later waylaid travellers around the gully erosion site on the road. They were said to have escaped into the bush after a confrontation with the police. The source said the suspects had already abducted some commuters before engaging in a gun duel with the police. “They finally escaped with their victims,” the source said. When contacted, the Transition Committee Chairman of the council, Mr. Osita Igbe, said it was a case of suspected kidnapping based on the briefing by the police but added that the matter was still under investigation. He said that all the security agencies are intensifying efforts to apprehend the fleeing abductors and rescue the victims. When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Geoffrey Ogbonna, said he would make inquiries and get back to our Correspondent. He later called and said it was a suspected robbery case by bandits, confirming that a Toyota Yaris car was recovered from the scene. He equally noted that the occupants of the car where nowhere to be found and were believed to have been abducted by the suspected bandits. The PPRO said police men and army personnel were later drafted to the scene to comb the bush and for the rescue of the victims. He however said he was not aware of the alleged sighting of strange men in military camouflage at Onuaku community. https://newsexpressngr.com/news/91970 |
Judging from the surname, he's likely from Anambra state. |
men of nowadays have become very weak which is why they're having problems running their families, if i have to cough out a huge amount of money to start a business for my wife, then she must make monthly accounts to me and help out financially whenever i request for it. The business belongs to us and not to her alone. All these nonsense starts from the courtship period when the men have proved themselves to be mugus and magas so the women go into marriage with them with the same akwunakwuna mentality. I would advise the husband to close down the business until she understands the true meaning of marriage. |
what a stupid name. |
Southeast governors are mostly Buhari asslickers, they would eventually make sell out and weaken the argument for Amotekun.Anything involving Gov Umahi is not to be trusted. |
let's peacefully break up Nigeria in a referendum because at the rate we're going, a bitter civil war might break out soon. |

Bandits on Wednesday abducted the Chief Imam
of Beni Central Mosque in Munya Local
Government of Niger State, Alhaji Umar Ali, and
20 others.
Reports from the area say the bandits are busy
sacking homes of the villagers and rustling their
cattle and sheep without any resistance.
It was said that apart from those kidnapped, the
bandits have killed four people and injured several
others with one of them hit in the head by bullet.
Those injured, according to the report, were either
receiving treatments at the Sarkinpawa or
Kaffinkorl General Hospitals.
The District Head of Beni, Alhaji Jafaru Umar
Sarki, who confirmed the recent attacks to
journalists in a telephone interview, said the
invasion of the community by the bandits is the
second in three days.
“They came three days ago and stole over 200
cows from Fulani men, and this morning
(Wednesday) they came again in their numbers.
As I speak to you now, they are busy looting
shops and moving from house to house and
collecting people’s property.
“So far, four people have been killed. They shot
another boy in the head and we don’t know if he
will survive. They are so many in number, I can’t
count them and they are all with gun.
“The unfortunate thing is that we informed the
security agents about it after the first attack but
up till now, nobody has come to our rescue,”
Alhaji Sarki said.
The Chairman of Munya Local Government, Alhaji
Garba Umar, could not be reached for
confirmation of the incident neither could the
police could be reached.
The bandits had on Sunday killed four soldiers,
one of them an officer, and some civilians in the
council area. (THISDAY)

BadRadio:1) change it from a rich lady to a financially comfortable lady, It's almost impossible to find rich single people in Nigeria today, even with a monthly salary of 500k, that's just 6million a year before taxes. How many years would you save from that to buy land and build a standard 5 bedrooms duplex( nothing too luxurious) because that would cost you about 30million (more if in a water logged area). 2) most Nigerian ladies earn less than their menfolk and are not very good with managing money because of impulsive and conspicuous spending habits, most of us would end up marrying low/non earning females and try molding them into the woman of your dreams. 3) Riches attracts riches, so are you rich? |

Nigerian youths should realise that just been happy in a show, football viewing centre or even in a bar is enough to be arrested and extorted if not outrightly killed in this shithole of a zoo. They should use their sense na. |
