PoliticsTension In Isuikwuato Over Abduction Of Travellers By Suspected Fulani Gunmen by Mgbadike80(op): 8:29am On Feb 15, 2020
There is palpable tension and
apprehension in Isuikwuato Local
Government Area of Abia State over
the abduction of travellers by
gunmen suspected to be Fulani
herdsmen.
The incident occurred Tuesday
evening around 7:00 p.m.
According to a local source, some
strange-looking men suspected to be
Fulani were sighted in the bush
around Onuaku area of the LGA, and
confronted by the locals.
They were said to have left the
vicinity and moved towards the gully
after the Abia State University on the
road towards Isuikwuato town.
The source said the strangers later
waylaid travellers around the gully
erosion site on the road.
They were said to have escaped into
the bush after a confrontation with
the police.
The source said the suspects had
already abducted some commuters
before engaging in a gun duel with
the police.
“They finally escaped with their
victims,” the source said.
When contacted, the Transition
Committee Chairman of the council,
Mr. Osita Igbe, said it was a case of
suspected kidnapping based on the
briefing by the police but added that
the matter was still under
investigation.

He said that all the security agencies
are intensifying efforts to apprehend
the fleeing abductors and rescue the
victims.
When contacted, the Police Public
Relations Officer in the state, Mr.
Geoffrey Ogbonna, said he would
make inquiries and get back to our
Correspondent.
He later called and said it was a
suspected robbery case by bandits,
confirming that a Toyota Yaris car
was recovered from the scene.
He equally noted that the occupants
of the car where nowhere to be found
and were believed to have been
abducted by the suspected bandits.
The PPRO said police men and army
personnel were later drafted to the
scene to comb the bush and for the
rescue of the victims.
He however said he was not aware of
the alleged sighting of strange men
in military camouflage at Onuaku
community.

men of nowadays have become very weak which is why they're having problems running their families, if i have to cough out a huge amount of money to start a business for my wife, then she must make monthly accounts to me and help out financially whenever i request for it. The business belongs to us and not to her alone. All these nonsense starts from the courtship period when the men have proved themselves to be mugus and magas so the women go into marriage with them with the same akwunakwuna mentality. I would advise the husband to close down the business until she understands the true meaning of marriage.

PoliticsBandits Abduct Chief Imam, 20 Others In Niger Community by Mgbadike80(op): 8:59pm On Jan 09, 2020
Bandits on Wednesday abducted the Chief Imam of Beni Central Mosque in Munya Local Government of Niger State, Alhaji Umar Ali, and 20 others. Reports from the area say the bandits are busy sacking homes of the villagers and rustling their cattle and sheep without any resistance. It was said that apart from those kidnapped, the bandits have killed four people and injured several others with one of them hit in the head by bullet. Those injured, according to the report, were either receiving treatments at the Sarkinpawa or Kaffinkorl General Hospitals. The District Head of Beni, Alhaji Jafaru Umar Sarki, who confirmed the recent attacks to journalists in a telephone interview, said the invasion of the community by the bandits is the second in three days. “They came three days ago and stole over 200 cows from Fulani men, and this morning (Wednesday) they came again in their numbers. As I speak to you now, they are busy looting shops and moving from house to house and collecting people’s property. “So far, four people have been killed. They shot another boy in the head and we don’t know if he will survive. They are so many in number, I can’t count them and they are all with gun. “The unfortunate thing is that we informed the security agents about it after the first attack but up till now, nobody has come to our rescue,” Alhaji Sarki said. The Chairman of Munya Local Government, Alhaji Garba Umar, could not be reached for confirmation of the incident neither could the police could be reached. The bandits had on Sunday killed four soldiers, one of them an officer, and some civilians in the council area. (THISDAY) https://newsexpressngr.com/news/89813

PoliticsGunmen Kidnap Three In Kwara, Demands N50m Ransom by Mgbadike80(op): 5:40am On Jan 04, 2020
By Demola Akinyemi
Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have
kidnapped three indigenes of Obbo-Aiyegunle,
Ekiti local government area of Kwara State who
were travelling home for new year celebration.
Vanguard gathered that the fourth victim
reportedly escaped from the gunmen with very
serious injuries.
It was further gathered that the herdsmen have
taken advantage of the poor road conditions in
the area, to perpetrate kidnapping which has been
rampant in the area.
Former chairman of the local government, Otunba
Ezekiel Gbadeyan broke the news to journalists in
Ilorin yesterday.

Aregbesola, Former SSG
Vanguard gathered that the kidnappers have also
allegedly demanded a ransom of N50 million from
the family members before the release of their
victims.
The kidnapped persons are a woman and two
men, while the fourth persons in the same vehicle
with the victims escaped with serious injuries.
The incident which happened December 31st,
2019, occurred along Osi-Obbo-Aiyegunle road of
Ekiti local council of the state.
Speaking with our reporter on phone, former
chairman of the local government and an indigene
of the town, Otunba Ezekiel Gbadeyan said the
victims who were occupants of the same vehicle
were travelling to their country home for the New
Year celebrations.
Otunba Gbadeyan added that kidnapping has been
a recurrent decimal in the area due to the
deplorable state of the road linking Osi and Obbo-
Aiyegunle.
He added that “the incident was the fourth in the
last few weeks but local hunters have always
been rising up to the occasion of preventing
innocent souls from been kidnapped.
“The hunters have been our saving grace from the
menace of these herders in the area.
“These pathetic occurrences are due to the non-
motorable state of our road as vehicles cannot
move freely. Therefore, we are appealing to the
state government to assist us in rehabilitating the
road that links the two communities.
“Also, the road that links Obbo-Aiyegunle in
Kwara State to Ekiti State is also awful. We use
this medium to urge the authorities
concerned to come to our rescue.”
Contacted, spokesperson of the state police
command Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the incident,
adding that the incident was reported to have
happened four days ago.
“The state police command is working seriously
to ensure the safe release of the hapless victims
from captivity,” he said.

Crime23 Killed As Suspected Militia Attack Kogi Community by Mgbadike80(op): 5:31am On Jan 04, 2020
By Boluwaji Obahopo – Lokoja
Twenty-three persons have been feared dead as
suspected militia, believed to be herdsmen
invaded Tawari Community in Kogi LGA, of Kogi
State at the early hour of Friday.
The Administrator of the local government, Musa
Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, however,
said 19 persons died in the midnight invasion.
The militia also burnt down the palace of the
third class chief, Yusuf Idris alongside several
other houses in the area.

Sources from the community believed the militia
invasion to be a reprisal attack by herdsmen
whose kinsmen were killed along Lokoja – Abuja
federal highway recently by security agencies.
Vigilantes from Tawari community were said to
have killed the herdsmen whom they alleged were
kidnappers; a development that must have
angered the militia to attack the community.” The
source said
The source also said one of the herdsmen was
killed and his body mutilated by suspected
ritualists around the community last year, which
the herdsmen pointed accusing fingers at the
Tawari community, and threatened reprisal.
“But following persistent persuasion by the
community head, Alhaji Yahaya Tawari, against a
reprisal, the herdsmen lived in the community
with their host community in peace until a few
days ago when they started moving out en
masse.
“While efforts were made to pacify them as to
their reason for the mass movement, the
herdsmen said their movement was a way of life,
assuring that it had no ulterior motives.

“But the killing of the herdsmen suspected to be
kidnappers terrorising motorists along the Lokoja
– Abuja federal highway four days ago must have
angered the herdsmen, who alleged that the
misfortune of their colleagues killed as suspected
kidnappers was made possible by information
from the Tawari community; reason for the
reprisal in the wee hours of yesterday.”
Eye witness account put the dead at twenty-
three, but the administrator however confirmed
nineteen, described the incident as very
unfortunate, assured that efforts are on to return
life to normalcy.
As at the time of report military personnel has
been deployed to the community, while the Kogi
state Commissioner of Police was on ground to
monitor the situation and provide support.

RomanceRe: If I Cant Find A Rich Lady To Marry I Will Stay Single Until Jesus Comes by Mgbadike80: 9:27pm On Jan 02, 2020
BadRadio:
grin
1) change it from a rich lady to a financially comfortable lady, It's almost impossible to find rich single people in Nigeria today, even with a monthly salary of 500k, that's just 6million a year before taxes. How many years would you save from that to buy land and build a standard 5 bedrooms duplex( nothing too luxurious) because that would cost you about 30million (more if in a water logged area).
2) most Nigerian ladies earn less than their menfolk and are not very good with managing money because of impulsive and conspicuous spending habits, most of us would end up marrying low/non earning females and try molding them into the woman of your dreams.

3) Riches attracts riches, so are you rich?
