I want whoever is reading this to ask himself "Is a finite sin worth an infinite punishment?" in plain language The human life as we all know is fleeting and passes away very quickly lets say like 100years or a little more of that at most...ok now assuming you start committing sin from the first day you were born till the day you die (100yrs later) does this worth eternity of punishment? is it justice? is this characteristic of love? let us leave any emotional attachment to any religion we practise aside and answer that question sincerely.

The mistake you are making is that you are trying to rationalize God. Only God can decide what punishment is appropriate for sin. You cant use your limited human wisdom to decide what punishment is just or not.

Ask urself assuming their is life after death in what extension will you exist, in this planet earth our extension is the human body, we have form.
eyes, nose, mouth tongue, hands, feet, brain, lungs and all this are possible because we have flesh then if their is a conscious soul that exists after death in what state? in what form or extension will it exist since we all know all the things i mentioned above are all human traits.

Pains as we know it is as a result of sensory neurons in our skin (flesh) that sends the data to the brain and then it responds to the stimuli/stimulus.. ok in this assumed state of existing after death, how would you feel pain? no skin, no brain? not even shape or form? from whence then comes the pain?

There wont be mother-son, father-daughter or husband-wife relationships in heaven. All those relationships ends on earth. We will exist as spirits in heaven and hell(for you)

I've been monitoring your ranting on nairaland and I've realised that your problem is pride. You believe that you know more than every pastor and christian in Nigeria.

You read articles on the internet and believe them whole heartedly but you don't believe some portions of the bible. Don't you know that its people like you and me that put all these articles on the internet. They claim to conduct research but you fail to realise that this events occurred over 2 thousand years ago. Any research you do will at most be inconclusive because of lack of complete evidence. That's why different researchers have made different conclusions on the same topic. Most of this websites even copy themselves and just do minor modifications.

Another problem you have is that you don't conduct a balanced research. Try to always check the opinions of christian apologetics on any issues before drawing your conclusions. Most of the issues you have against the bible and christians have been fully explained on christian apologists' websites.

You choose to believe this websites more than the bible which is the Word of God. Your faith in what you see in these websites amazes me.

All you need to know is already in the bible stop doing unnecessary research. Read the bible with the help of the Holy Spirit and you will realize that the bible is complete. God bless you.

You clearly have not been reading your bible very well. Jesus Christ indicated that the torture would be everlasting. An example is in mark.

Mar 9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

If you read the whole chapter you will deduce that He was describing hell fire as a place of everlasting torture.

Read your bible by yourself with the help of the Holy Spirit. All these websites will just prey on your limited knowledge of the bible to mislead you. They will quote aspects that supports their claim and interpret it wrongly but they wont quote verses in the scripture that goes against their point. Be careful.

Am also guilty of falsely accusing TB Joshua. When i was growing up, all i heard about him were bad unproven things and i grew up with this sentiments against him. However, i didn't take time to investigate all the bad reports i heard about him.

The problem is that most people cant particularly say why they hate him or why they think he is a false prophet. They act based on rumours they've heard about him without carrying out their own investigation on him.

Only God knows if he is a false prophet or not, people should stop spreading false rumour about him. Anybody that has concrete evidence against him should publish it for the whole world to see.

My foray on nairaland has proved to me that everybody is born to be religious.

The constant presence of atheists in this section proves this fact. When people convert to atheism a void is created in them. They desperately try to fill this void by consistently arguing against theists on nairaland and anywhere else possible. This partially explains the obsession of atheists with the "christian God".

Atheists, have you ever asked yourselves why you constantly argue about a God you believe does not exist? some of you try to justify this by saying that you are trying stop christians from shoving it in your face and disturbing you with the christian crap as you go about your daily life. The question is, is nairaland the best place to do this? only a small fraction of those who visit nairaland comes to the religion section. Let's assume that everybody on nairaland sees your threads and arguments, how does this help your cause? How many lawmakers, governors and presidents visit nairaland?

Atheist, please stop crying to us on nairaland, we are not lawmakers. A better way to complain about your supposed oppression by theists will be to protest in front of government facilities, write letters to the lawmakers, sue any theist trampling on your rights to court etc.

Knowing is clearly different from programming. God didn't program people as robots to do what he wants but He does know what will happen in the future.

Everybody has the free will to do what he/she wants, God only knows the future he doesn't necessarily controls it.

OP where did you get the notion that God has programmed all the activities of men from? Please that is not the christian doctrine, it's what muslims usually say whenever something happens to them.
