I've been managing, I do make some money here and there once in awhile but it's barely enough, if I was only responsible for myself I'd be living fine with alot of savings, but there's so much responsibility on me it's weighing me down, I'm not married yet, I am in my twenties but I feel like an old man because of so much responsibility and dependents, guess it's the price you pay for having younger siblings, I always put Thier needs before mine, lately I have been trying to diversify, I never had a job as I do so many things online to earn my money, and I look forward to adding more income streams this year, this is why I am learning skills like programming to see if I can find remote jobs, anyone who has ideas please hook a brother up, I am not begging for money or anything, I just need update, I am willing to learn, or pay for credible and valuable info that would help boost my finances.

Please kindly with any means of making money online. Most that I've heard is scam.

1. Work on my relationship with God. Within 2years I have only stepped into a Church thrice. I do not practice Juju/Voodoo. I believe in God, heaven and hell. But I do not subscribe to the teachings of most Nigerian Pastors. You are driving a bulletproof SUV yet you sell stickers to ur congregations to stick on their vehicles and homes. The irony!

2. Quit Coke or any carbonated drink. Today made it 365days without Beer. My sugar level got high during the Pandemic period. I had series of burning feet episodes.

3. Quit betting for good. Sincerely, I made money off it this year but I lost alot also. I have never seen any CEO who gambles.

4. Face my future without fear. Life is for the strong. 2022 taught me alot, some days would be for you while some days would against you. While you face both do well to smile.

I like it when people realize that going to church is different from having a relationship with God. It's a commandment that we shouldn't abstain from church though.

You just have to find a church in your area that you can manage. I have the same problem with finding a good church. My problem is not even pastors being rich but unfortunately most churches are dead, they just keep recycling the same condemnation teaching every Sunday. May God help us.

Got a $2,800 a month job
May 2022 I got a raise to $4,800
October 2022 it rose to $12,000 a month

I'm not ashamed to scream it to the world that TIthe works!

God showed up and I went from been a borrower to a lender. Glory to God!

Religion / My Testimony, All Glory To God 2022 Is The Best Year Of My Life by michaelwestern(m): 4:16pm On Jan 01, 2023
2022 is a year I will never forget in my life. It's the best year of my life.

4 major things

1. Got to know God personally. I've been a Christian for over 16 years but I just started to realize what personal relationship with God is in 2022. It's a tragedy that majority of Christians( even full time ministers) don't get to experience this throughout their life time. Most Christians think their pastor is an intermediary between them and God, so as long as they go to church regularly they're fine.

2. Got healed from depression. I was depressed for about 12 years and attempted suicide 4 times. God healed me miraculously, I stopped taking antidepressants around May last year and I've been fine. I actually stumbled on my healing I wasn't even praying for it because I've never heard of anyone that got healed from depression through praying in tongues. I was praying in tongues a lot and renewing my mind with the word of God. One day I didn't take my drugs( can't remember why) and I just realized that I was still fine and I was healed.

3. Finally became a graduate after 14 years and attending 2 universities. I studied physics and psychology in OAU but did not graduate. Before finally studying mathematics. I was depressed throughout the time I was in OAU but I started taking antidepressants when I was studying mathematics so I was relatively fine.

4. Finally moved to my rented self-contain bedroom at the age of 31.

I don't think there's anyone that had more significant changes in life than me in 2022 and it's all because of God. Life without God is meaningless.

All glory be to God.

Let’s give a big shout out to all the Christians that don’t smoke and drink because it’s a sin, but give and take bribes, cheat and tell lies.

They are all wrong. You can't force people to like all sins because they're struggling with some other sins. And the effects of different sins are different. The effect of murder is different from the effect of taking/giving bribe.

You have a point that it's not good too judge. But for a non smoker to marry a smoker is disaster.

I av been looking for a comment by someone with exposure and here it is. People condemning smoking weed is as a result of the society/environment they are atm. In western countries, people smoke weed and sometimes the parents are even the ones to introduce their kids to weed smoking. I'm not saying it's good or bad, it's a matter of choice but most comment here are based on reasoning as a result of the immediate environment they are. Weed is very good for the health.

It's illegal in Nigeria, so that's an important factor. Anybody doing something that can take them to jail should be evaluated carefully.

Don't always make unnecessary comparisons. Nobody forces anyone to bury a person one year later, do whatever works for you. The queen of England was carried around the country before she was buried while some Nigerian kings are buried immediately.

Don't have inferiority complex on unimportant issues. Don't be looking for any opportunity to put down your culture and traditions if it's not barbaric.

Your question is too vague. What in the world are you talking about?
Religion / Re: Why Sin Repeals God by michaelwestern(m): 8:44am On Nov 06, 2022

1. According to Jesus Christ, "believing" involves a lot more than the mental gymnastics of convincing yourself you are for Him. No, it entails living your very life in continuous acceptance/trust/submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments- what it means to be a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. And only those who stand faithful until the end will be saved - Matthew 24 vs 12 - 13 & Mark 13 vs 13 undecided

And just so you know every single person who will end up in Eternal damnation are all born-again. The problem is they are all those who refuse to continue in acceptance and obedience of the teachings of Jesus Christ and as a result, remain slaves to sin until the end. undecided

2. As Jesus Christ said, your salvation from Hell depends on the works of righteousness you do. He is coming back to judge you and your works, not someone else's work or His own work. So, if you reject His teachings and commandments based on the inane idea that you will earn your own righteousness by doing what Jesus Christ commands, then I am afraid, where you will fall is exactly where He said those who think as you do ought to. undecided

3. According to Jesus Christ, except a man be born-again, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God - John 3 vs 1 -8 , and in order to be born-again, not only must you accept the gift of eternal life, but you must also be born of water and of spirit - eat His Body and drink His blood as seal of the agreement that is the New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God. So how can anyone who does not at least obey the above laws gain access into the Kingdom of God where Heaven and Hell are both domains in? undecided

What do you mean by every person that will go to hell is born again?
What of people that are not born again, are they not going to hell?
Religion / Re: Why Sin Repeals God by michaelwestern(m): 6:37am On Nov 06, 2022
Kobojunkie:
Jesus Christ shed His body and blood on the cross in other to begin the agreement - Matthew 26 vs 28 - 30 - which God promised to His people, Israel, and to bless the world with. He explained this in His teachings , His Gospels, and His mandate to all those who will come to Him is that they obey His teachings and commandments in order to become of Him. undecided

Which means that believing in Jesus Christ does not actually save you from hell, it just gives you an opportunity to be saved from hell fire? So technically your salvation from hell is not really dependent on Jesus but on your own righteousness?

What of those that don't believe in Jesus Christ but obey all the commandments, will they go to heaven?

1. Here's the problem with this fallacious doctrines you lot cling to, all Jesus Christ's teachings regarding love which you pretend to cling to, He taught before His death. So following your own claims, Jesus Christ changed His mind regarding even that after His death, right? undecided

Look, Jesus Christ taught that He is God's Truth @,# Law, and that God's Truth/Law is everlasting meaning it never changes and lives on for eternity. Meaning that what He stated about judging your righteousness in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 stands forever. So, again, let's examine what Jesus Christ in fact said would happen when He returns and judges the works of righteousness of the sheep and goats.
▪︎In verse 40 above, when the King said to the sheep, "The Truth is, anything YOU did for any of my people here, YOU also did for me", who was the YOU the King was referring to there? Whose work of righteousness was the King judged? undecided

▪︎And when in verse 45, where the King said to the goat, "The Truth is, anything YOU refused to do for any of my people here, YOU refused to do for me", who was the YOU the King was referring to there? Whose unrighteousness was it that the King judged? undecided

2. According to Jesus Christ, the perfect will of God which you have to fulfill in order to enter into Heaven is God's New Covenant and Truth in the Kingdom of God aka the Gospel and Law which is revealed in the very teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. And as Jesus Christ severally explained, those who belong to Him are those who accept and obey His teachings. They are those who are able to be set free by His teachings and commandments, the Truth, from slavery to sin - John 8 vs 31 - 36 - , to then do works that are acceptable to God. lipsrsealed

Again, if you assume Jesus Christ has already made you righteous, then why is there a judgment day where you will be judged for whether you are righteous or not - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46? undecided

Notice how what you believe contradicts the very teachings of Jesus Christ Himself, the one who you claim saves you. Can two walk together unless they agree? undecided

My question to you is:
What did Jesus Christ die for?
What do you benefit from the crucifixion of Jesus Christ?
Religion / Re: Why Sin Repeals God by michaelwestern(m): 4:45am On Nov 06, 2022

2. But the same Jesus Christ is recorded to have said instead that the way for you to be set free from slavery to sin by the Truth is for you to continue in submission and obedience to His teachings and commanding, the Truth, in order to be set free by the Truth - John 8 vs 31 - 38? undecided

And if Jesus Christ has already made you righteous, then why is there a judgment day where you will be judged for whether you are righteous or not - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46? undecided

Notice how what you believe contradicts the very teachings of Jesus Christ Himself, the one who you claim saves you. Can two walk together unless they agree? undecided

But you see Jesus Christ had not yet died at this time. Jesus Christ in His ministry on earth showed us the perfect will God. All the instructions there are about love. Showing love to your neighbours which is the will of God.

Before Jesus Christ died on the cross, you had to fulfill the perfect will of God to get into heaven, now you don't. You just have to believe in Jesus Christ and accept His righteousness. Jesus Christ did all those things, so by receiving His righteousness you have also done those things and you are perfect before God.
Religion / Re: Why Sin Repeals God by michaelwestern(m): 5:39am On Nov 05, 2022

So you are invariably declaring Jesus Christ, the one who instead made known that it is instead righteousness(works) that gives you access to His Heaven - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 & John 5 vs 19 - 29 , a liar? undecided

You do understand that the righteous are those who live above sin and as a result their works are acceptable to God? undecided

Yes, you need righteousness to get into heaven. But not your own righteousness, you have access to the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ took your sins and suffered the punishment for your sin, you can now take His righteousness and enjoy the benefits of His righteousness.

It was a divine exchange. Or what do you think that Jesus Christ died for?

There are a lot of reasons not to commit sins? And here I taught the one reason not to commit sin is because it is disobedience of God's teachings and commandments - that is exactly what sin is and the reason why God abhors sin(disobedience). undecided

Of course, I am in no way attempting to hold brief for the OP and his angry-God theory which does not hold through in Jesus Christ in whim instead, those who claim to believe in Jesus Christ but live in sin(disobedience) are said to be of their father the devil - John 8 vs 31 - 36 - and to be cast away into the place of eternal damnation when Jesus Christ returns and judges them - Matthew 25 vs 40 - 46 undecided

Your first paragraph is correct. The second one is wrong though. Your ticket to heaven is your belief in Jesus Christ not whether you sinned or not.

Jesus Christ paid the sacrifice for sin. It's not that God now condones sin, it's just that God has already judged sin in Jesus, condemning a Christian for sin again will be like double jeopardy.
