chieveboy: That's what we're saying all the while. People sitting on a lot of ignorance formulating laws, doctrines, religions and beliefs that dictates the lives of others.
Here, you are implicitly declaring that people only suffer physical abnormalities. Any other abnormality (that is not physical) is a lie .
By your wisdom, non physical abnormality like insulin deficiency, (internal chemical imbalance) is a hoax.
What really gives birth to physical abnormalities? Is not non 'physical' abnormalities, where the internal abnormalities results in distorted limbs distorted Instruments, behavior, capabilities and all that?
It will take you a while to obviously.
What do they seem to you? I never said that people only suffer from physical abnormalities stop trying to shift the goal post. People suffer from depression, schizophrenia, homosexuality etc. They all have demonic undertones. And I know they're some hormonal abnormalities in depressed people but it's still demonic. Jesus Christ healed some diseases by casting out demons. So even some physical illness have demonic causes. |

NNTR: Why looking for proof, when it is clear that not, every man with developed boobs like a woman's is actually gay (i.e. sexually and romantically attracted to men) or every woman with manly features is into females (i.e. (i.e. sexually and romantically attracted to females)
Do you get it, that what Apostle Paul with 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 was clear about is, promiscuity and thats in respect of sexual orientation, meaning, whether in a heterosexual capacity, homosexual/lesbian or bisexual/interesex capacity
1 Corinthians 6:9-11, together and in cooperation with Romans 1:26-27 and even 1 Timothy 1:10 too, in fact is a rehash of Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13, but with a twist included that's highlighted, in Romans 1:26-27
The sexual immoralities et cetera, hinted in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, is not exclusive nor peculiar to homosexuality alone but till tomorrow equally happens in heterosexual settings as well.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11, is not in anyway, knocking committed faithful, affection same sex relationship between two consenting adults loving each other for life, essentially until death do part them
Just recently, part of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 played out, when an Ifa priest from Ekiti State, untimely met his death from having sexual escapades with a pastor's wife, and not knowing that, allegedly, her husband had placed magun on her (i.e. laced her with native magic spell that causes death by thunderbolt to whoever has sex with the pastor's wife besides him, the pastor)
NATIVE DOCTOR SLUMP, DIES DURING SEX ROMP WITH PASTOR'S WIFE https://punchng.com/herbalist-dies-during-sex-with-ekiti-pastors-wife/
Personal text: Jesus is not a theologian. He is God who told stories. Your responses are too lengthy and vague, it's difficult to get your points. I assume you're trying to say that homosexuality is not different from any other sin, which is true. The problem with homosexuality though is that they think they're not committing sin and it's just a sexual orientation. An adulterer or fornicator knows that he's living in sin and tries to make adjustments but an homosexual doesn't. |

chieveboy: This is coming from this topic: https://www.nairaland.com/7513005/kenyan-gayright-activist-chiloba-killed
Fun fact: You will wind up giving birth to one that you would love dearly and can't help or...
you might reincarnate as one to balance the hate or torture you did directly or indirectly to any of such persons (gay, deaf, albinos, crippled, poor, short, etc). People reincarnate to balance stinginess or to balance the taking of life to saving it (as doctors).
It doesn't matter if you did it for a 'just' cause or if its purportedly sanctioned by a "God". Perhaps we need more lecture to assimilate the "Must" in the statement: "Whatever you sow, you Must reap". Death absolves no man.
Cont... Nobody is given birth to as gay. It's demonic possession ( I'm not just being religious). It's a deception of Satan that once you're born as a gay that's all, it's a lie, the person is possessed by demonic spirits and simple deliverance will cure the person. We've seen several cases. |

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Mathew 5: 39
The moment you become a Christian you've signed over the right to defend yourself to God. As a Christian you have a commandment to not defend and always justify yourself.
Forgiveness is central to the Christian life. Without mastering the art of forgiveness it will be impossible to turn the other cheek. You have to forgive even when the person that offended you didn't ask for forgiveness.
My charge to Christians today is to be willing to take ridicule, defeat, oppression without fighting back and leave it God to avenge you.
.If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee. Proverbs 25;21-22 |

Funny enough, many of you want to japa, if you get to ur destination and a class is fixed to the same day like what just happened in Futminna, we'll all call it a system that works. But in Nigeria, the lecturer is a sadists

sslcrypt: You Africans are to be blamed. I remember when clearly phones were pricey and not easily accessible things weren't bad. Now china man came to Africa and flooded the entire continent with cheap phones and you all jumped in great excitement and awe. You praised the Chinese and insulted the west. Have you ever Wonder no matter how messed up the west might be why things won't get as bad as this? It's because they are visionaries. They are forward thinking and visionaries, they set threshold for everything which is reflected in their laws and watchdog institutions. The Chinese came with cheap phones and none of your leaders had any sense of forward thinking to see the most deadly impact of it, which outweighs the pros. As we speak Facebook in europe have purged perverts, predators and molestern at a large rate, now they are been cornered on the dark web. It's just a matter of time before they are mostly scoped up. That's because everything works with a system.
Congratulations Africa, because things will get worst. The Chinese TikTok is now been curbed across the west because the systems in place have signaled red alert. Yet in Africa people have turn into zombies for the app. Extra features on TikTok that have been rejected in the west is not be looked into in Africa. Features that will enable your daughter as young as 7 create a Love Machine or masturbating video with layers of eyes only features, is not even spoken about. Yet all you focus on is on useless worthless skits and useless challenges.
God help you all You've been to blinded by inferiority complex that you can't even see what is clearly in front of you. It's very rare to see people in West leave secondary (high) schools as virgins. Either you are in denial or you don't know what's going on in the world. There are way more perverts in the west than in Africa, the only good thing is that most of them are caught but a lot of them go scot-free. Just check YouTube podcasts for the average age a girl is disvirgined abroad and you'll be shocked. Africa is backwards in a lot of ways but not morally. Things are way worse abroad. |

While home training is very important, it does not guarantee anything. From personal experience and my observations it's 50-50.
I know twins( close friends of mine) that grew up in the same home. One was a serious Christian and the other one was a drug addict and street boy. It's been long I saw them so I don't know how they're doing now. But you can't necessarily blame their parents.
All you can do as a parent is do your best and train them in the way of the Lord and continue to pray for them but every individual will have choose his/her own path. You can just pray and hope that your kids choose the right path. |

IamtheTruth1: 1. Work on my relationship with God. Within 2years I have only stepped into a Church thrice. I do not practice Juju/Voodoo. I believe in God, heaven and hell. But I do not subscribe to the teachings of most Nigerian Pastors. You are driving a bulletproof SUV yet you sell stickers to ur congregations to stick on their vehicles and homes. The irony!
2. Quit Coke or any carbonated drink. Today made it 365days without Beer. My sugar level got high during the Pandemic period. I had series of burning feet episodes.
3. Quit betting for good. Sincerely, I made money off it this year but I lost alot also. I have never seen any CEO who gambles.
4. Face my future without fear. Life is for the strong. 2022 taught me alot, some days would be for you while some days would against you. While you face both do well to smile. I like it when people realize that going to church is different from having a relationship with God. It's a commandment that we shouldn't abstain from church though. You just have to find a church in your area that you can manage. I have the same problem with finding a good church. My problem is not even pastors being rich but unfortunately most churches are dead, they just keep recycling the same condemnation teaching every Sunday. May God help us. |

2022 is a year I will never forget in my life. It's the best year of my life.
4 major things
1. Got to know God personally. I've been a Christian for over 16 years but I just started to realize what personal relationship with God is in 2022. It's a tragedy that majority of Christians( even full time ministers) don't get to experience this throughout their life time. Most Christians think their pastor is an intermediary between them and God, so as long as they go to church regularly they're fine.
2. Got healed from depression. I was depressed for about 12 years and attempted suicide 4 times. God healed me miraculously, I stopped taking antidepressants around May last year and I've been fine. I actually stumbled on my healing I wasn't even praying for it because I've never heard of anyone that got healed from depression through praying in tongues. I was praying in tongues a lot and renewing my mind with the word of God. One day I didn't take my drugs( can't remember why) and I just realized that I was still fine and I was healed.
3. Finally became a graduate after 14 years and attending 2 universities. I studied physics and psychology in OAU but did not graduate. Before finally studying mathematics. I was depressed throughout the time I was in OAU but I started taking antidepressants when I was studying mathematics so I was relatively fine.
4. Finally moved to my rented self-contain bedroom at the age of 31.
I don't think there's anyone that had more significant changes in life than me in 2022 and it's all because of God. Life without God is meaningless.
All glory be to God. |

You can't force people to like all sins because they're struggling with some other sins. And the effects of different sins are different. The effect of murder is different from the effect of taking/giving bribe. You have a point that it's not good too judge. But for a non smoker to marry a smoker is disaster. |

In western countries, people smoke weed and sometimes the parents are even the ones to introduce their kids to weed smoking. I'm not saying it's good or bad, it's a matter of choice but most comment here are based on reasoning as a result of the immediate environment they are. Weed is very good for the health. It's illegal in Nigeria, so that's an important factor. Anybody doing something that can take them to jail should be evaluated carefully. |
