PresidentAtiku: I am shocked to discover that 60CL Sprite is now N170.
This leaves me thinking... Are we cursed to be Nigerians? Like how can one man and his party be inflicting pains and we are quiet and getting adjusted to hardship as a way of life as led by them.
A review of the past(1983) shows a repeat of this same scenario where prices kept sky rocketing. You can't give want you dont have.
Every thing and everyone including you and myself have been blamed by this demonic party called APC as responsible for the failed state we are in as a country.
How can we have a President and then prices of items the common man (including those that trekked for him and those that see him as a god) keep rising everyday and all he does absolutely nothing?
They are forcing us to adopt and get use to the hard life because of their cluelessness. We have to rise and reject this.
Oil prices have gone up. What is the excuse this time?
Who can fix the damage done to this country by these demons currently in power?
Now he has gone to London for a cruise. Don't we have doctors and hospitals in Nigeria? Lie Mohammed keeps admonishing us to buy "made in Naija" items while his family eats foreign rice at home.
I weep for my nation. Oh my dear Nigeria!!!! You're still calling Nigeria your "my dear Nigeria" with everything that is happening in the country. You never even serious yet... |

Ogungbemi01: We don't want the anti Yoruba rule, it is a ploy by the Binis to separate us from our brothers. Since they use mid west to separate us from the West, Binis have been trying to annex our land in Edo State. We don't understand Bini language neigther does Bini understand our language. If you cast a news in Yoruba language in Itsekiri area, every body will understand what the news caster is saying . Likewise if the news is read in Itsekiri. They connive with some self centered Itsekiri leaders to produce the vexecious edict. Omadino people are from Ode in Ogun state while Ugborodo people are from Ugbo in Ondo state. How will you convince Omadinor people that a child born by their sister from Ogun state is not qualified to sit on the throne in a kingdom where they are major stake holders? How do you also convince Ugborodo people who are the highest oil producers in Delta State that their sister from Ondo state cannot give birth to a king to rule over their land? In fact the edict is very annoying to our people. No body want to hear it. The people have trashed the edict. So this is about oil, right? When the edict was to your own advantage, nobody heard you protesting it. The Itsekiri people have always allied with the Binis,so I think they have since been "Bininized". The edict was signed and adopted in conjunction with your elites, so to seek to review it would mean serious scuffles. Let sleeping dogs lie. We don't need another communal crisis in this already fragmented country. |

Nobody can say for certain the true interpretations of the scriptures. What we hear are all conjectures from people who feel they have the correct interpretations. To solve this whole dilemma is quite simple, at least to an omnipotent and omniscient God: Just speak to everyone in a way that they will understand. That way,no need for the different variants of interpretations of the scriptures. |
Politics › Re: BREAKING!!! Biafra : UK, Israel Petitioned To Repatriate Nnamdi Kanu by michelz: 1:32pm On Jan 10, 2021 |
gidgiddy: You miss the point. The constitution has already granted everyone freedom of expression and protest. The constitution does say that anyone who protests will get whatever they are protesting for, but it allows the person to protest. In the case of Nigeria, not only does government not grant the wishes of protest, it is also trying to stifle the right of protest by intimidating and killing protesters. Whether is ever granted the Biafran protesters or not, they have the right to protest. But they have been harrased, detained, declared terrorists and killed for exercising their right to protest.
The Igbo nation was consulted and they agreed to be part of Nigeria? When and where did this happen? If the Igbo nation becomes independent tomorrow and those in Ebonyi later decide they want to become a country on their own, they are welcome. Why should anyone be held against their will? Is the world a prison? Their are countries on earth that not up to 1 million people.
The food you are talking about, is anyone getting it for free? People are buying the food they eat with their hard earned money. Should Biafra break out tomorrow, we will still be buying the food we need with our hard earned money. Did anyone tell you that once you have your own country, you are not allowed to buy food from outside the country? I have eaten foreign rice from Japan, I have eaten tomato from Italy, I have eaten corn from Ghana. As long as you have money, you can buy food from anywhere in the world It's a matter of subjective views how you interpret the Fg's actions towards protesters, and I don't have the desire to go into analyzing that. However, you should note that some of these protesters actually cause nuisances to others who just want to go about their peaceful lives. The facts are these: Igbos are not ready for their own nation. Mr Kanu will almost certainly lead some of his followers to destruction like he has done several times. Sound minds have considered these factors critically and have shunned Mr Kanu and what he's agitating for. |

Yujin: Lol. Hate has a way of making a man dumb. You're asking a people what they will eat after having their own country? What happened to agriculture? Or don't we have lands anymore? No one cares about having any contact with a terrorist enclave. We don't need any bridge with them. You should rather worry about your own people and how they'll survive. I can't spare a second to worry about that because there are far more important things to think. Just look at you. I mean take a good look at yourself. This is exactly why people consider you guys as jokers or at best, touts. When you can't feed yourselves; most of your youths are either riding bikes or kekes or kidnapping themselves up and down, instead of going to farm,is that how you're going to survive in your Biafra? You're not yet serious sef. |
Politics › Re: BREAKING!!! Biafra : UK, Israel Petitioned To Repatriate Nnamdi Kanu by michelz: 3:52am On Jan 10, 2021 |
gidgiddy: Stop talking nonsense. There is nothing Kanu is doing that has not been already covered by international law which Nigeria is a signatory to. It is your Nigerian government that has refused to allow the rule of law prevail. Anybody and any group is allowed to agitate for self determination or independence. It is 2hat allowed people like Zik and Awolowo to agitate for Nigerias independence from Nigeria. Kanu is allowed to agitate for the independence of his people from Nigeria. I see nothing wrong with the Igbo nation getting a referendum that allows them decide if they want to be part of Nigeria
Igbos survived when there was no Nigeria, they will survive without being part Nigeria just as other countries have done Nobody will grant anybody any referendum. The leaders and elites of the Igbo nation were consulted and they agreed to be part of Nigeria, and they duly signed to it. That is it. Any other thing apart from that would be utterly destructive. If the Igbo nation breaks away from Nigeria for instance, tomorrow now,Anambra would want to break out,Ebonyi would want to go their separate ways, and so on. These are things you guys need to think through before prancing about and screaming referendum everywhere. By the way,as it stands now,Southeast can hardly feed herself; it is almost completely dependent on other regions for almost every single item. What will happen when you get your Biafra, especially after burning your bridges as Mr Kanu is currently doing? Are you going to be eating yourselves? |

Mr Kanu is surely on a downward path to straight self-destruction. I don't consider him a wise man at all. At every golden opportunity, he has shown himself to be no different from the worst of the worst. This man wouldn't care if Nigeria is burnt to the ground and millions of Igbos and others gone with it. He would simply chuck it up as casualties of "freedom fighting". What is his answer for millions of Igbos who have integrated in other parts of the country and are doing well for themselves? If the millions of Igbos outside Igboland were to return back to the east, how would they fare? What would they eat? Where would they live? He just doesn't care. To make matters worse,he's abroad directing gullible people to be sacrificed. He should be repatriated. |

Mr Kanu is just ridiculous. How about other things like television, phones and other things developed and named by white men that he can't do without? This is why Igbos should be very wary of characters like Mr Kanu. If left unchecked, this man will seek to impose his jaundiced opinions, views and religions to others. Kind of what Boko Haram is trying to achieve. How is it his business what another man decides to be or to be called? |

Please try and receive sense this year, it is too early for this. You guys have suddenly turned to motivational speakers, right? When this same Sowore was busy pulling down a government that had good intentions for the people and hobnobbing with Buhari and his people, he was cautioned and warned, wasn't he? XANDERO85: Please zip it! What doom could be worse than being part of a country like Nigeria, where you’re sharing the same space with primitive-minded, bloodthirsty savages that hate your guts and are intent on diminishing your worth both territorially and economically!
The fact that you blame innocent youth for getting murdered in cold blood by Buharis’ goons just for agitating for secession via a referendum, says all that needs to be said about you and your wicked country!
Ya’ll act like ‘one Nigeria’ is written in the stars and is sacrosanct and constant like the northern star, when in fact all it is is the creation of Lugard and Colonial Office in London to further the economic and imperial interests of the British empire! Let me pose a question to you: if any time you went for a protest against a government, soldiers attacked and killed some of you, would you continue to protest without reconsidering your action? No country has a perfect law. If in a country you've been proscribed as a terrorist group, and you know you'd be seriously clamped down on by carrying out your activities, the best thing to do would be to restrategize, especially, if you lost over 3 million people from a totally avoidable conflict. That is the difference between a wise leader and a foolish self-minded leader. There are ways to pursue this issue reasonably without unnecessary loss of lives and destruction of properties. By the way, have you considered the fate of thousands of Igbos who have properties and investments outside Igboland, if Biafra were to come? |
