Ohizman73: I have also told him the same thing,in my culture from the mid-west that is kee.even in modern times like i always tell people in marriage it is the family of the man shes marries so to say.in our culture marriage is a serious matter not a childs play as many young people of nowadays. till date traditional marriage has more value and legality than their church marriage. if the woman is a good wife to his late uncle, then there's nothing that guy can against the woman's decision. The elders will totally support her and then it will become a public embarrassment. Just tell one or two respected elders in the family who will certainly keep their mouth shut |

First his father compared it to a flu and when the deaths starting increasing in number,he blamed China. His son is taking after his father. Should the states and rallies start and there comes a more deadly second wave of the pandemic, he will blame the organizers of the rallies for not adhering to social distancing rules and ignoring.
Meanwhile, Trump and his family are highly protected from the crowd and nothing can happen to them. These people are like one president who will walk over the "blood of baboons" to win an election |

This is totally in line with our tradition as Igbo people. Even the Bible supports the idea |

Hypocrisy is when you take tetanus shot cum polio vaccines and come here to speak against vaccination.
But who said there's vaccine for coronavirus already. It will take at least twelve months to get a working prototype of vaccine. What we have currently are drugs like chloroquine and Madagascar herbal drinks to manage the pandemic. |

Truth is that exchange rate isn't a determinant of how good an economy is. For instance, Ghana cedis exchanges higher than the Chinese currency and Korean won and that doesn't mean Ghana has a better economy. Another example is the Kuwait Dina which exchanges for almost $1000/dinar. During the said time, very few people can afford to buy a car even when it sold for #4000. But we have folks buying used cars today for tens of millions.
Having said the above, it's undeniable that Nigeria didn't have potential back in the day. It's just that we had lots of petrodollars and less population and the government then was able to do her job without borrowing like today. Forget all the glorious tales our parents told us about how quick you can get jobs. That's because there were fewer graduates then. We need total overhaul of this country |

simplesearch: Now you can see how the law of replenishment as commanded by God took effect both in Adam and Noah leading to the presertvation of the human race. If you can believe this why is it hard for you to beleieve the same God if he tells you those creatures are within 6,000 yrs of age and no more. Science is good it is the contiuation of God's works on earth by his highest creatures created after his own image, infact he plainly told man to be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it, meaning research what i've created, try to know more about the things I didn't plainly explain to you. But the line is drawn where He PLAINLY TELLS you something with assurance and truthfulness, and a man who cannot prolong his days in the name of science or scientific discovery tells you otherwise and you believe such at the expense of Gods revealed truth, such a person will not go unpunished, for undermining the highest authority that controls the universe taking him for a liar. Take this for a fact, anywhere science differs from God they are always found to be liars, even if it takes a millenium to unearth such lies. science is an assistant God or what exactly are you saying |

WILLuKPquiet: And is it not gross stupidity to not believe that a world wide Flood happened sometime during the time of a man called Noah, but to believe that a Giant Fish is found in Sahara desert?
What on earth could have taken a Giant Fish to a desert if not a flood and not a mere flood but of a magnitude big enough to wash off such a Big Animal.
Giant fish found in the Desert. The fish must have been living in sand.
The Bible Can't be mocked!!!
Another name for Atheism is Stupidity. in a country that teaches Christian religious studies instead of teaching geography extensively, I won't blame you if you don't know that the Sahara was once a great water body. Have you seen the sand dunes of Sahara and how they are arranged. I don't think you should because you can see it with your own eyes and don't need faith to believe it |

MinorityOpinion: Haven't you read the book. Eboe: The lost tribe of Israel
Around 1300BC during Moses time. The slaves were developing Egypt then, the blacks among them are Eboes (changed to Igbos by the settlers they met in South East). These blacks are hard workers, they built pyramid, built almost everything. Then Moses came to liberate them from the hardship. They ran toward the red sea.
Moses divided the red sea and every tribes of Israel crossed but Eboe were holding Egyptian army back. They were the last to cross the sea. But Moses couldn't hold it any longer. So the sea closed while the Eboes were still crossing it. The water then brought them all the way from Egypt to River Niger where they settle down in South East and as an adult with sense, do you believe this thing you wrote up there |

Right now you can't claim rule of law was ignored because Wike ignored it at first. When you deal with someone like Buhari and APC, common sense requires that you play smart and via rule of law |

Probably I am trying to apply the mentality of where I am that you don't need to issue threats or exert pressure to get the best out of them or to deliver their best outcome unlike there, people are paid less than $10 per day here meanwhile that same amount is an hour pay there. Not only that, people actually value quality works over the cost of doing the job and they have the necessary tools which makes work easier |

Delivering a job without messing other things up is a standard, If I am going to pay for not messing mine new door with cement I would NOT want to hire that person at all, this kind of mentality is the reason most Nigerians struggle outside their shore. Try it where the opposite is the norms I bet you won't be returning to your work post the next day. you're not getting the point boss. Let's say there are five workmen at a site and while others were hustling to do ten doors a day you will be stuck with one or two because you are trying to do a clean job. This is Nigeria boss. omanzo02: I had thought about this a lot, again I notice majority of Nigerian builders/workmen are blind to neatness, you rarely find a Nigerian workmen that clean/clear his working environment on daily basis, they don't identify applying measures like taping off or covering items that could get stain. I think our lack of maintenance culture is affecting our general regards toward things too. that's an unfounded claim boss. Get a workman and tell him explicitly that you need zero stain on your door. He will charge you accordingly. Thing is that these people are paid poorly so they try to do everything in one day. |
