Oasis007: Iheanacho leading the Attack won't bring anything out from this Match. Ndidi should be subbed for Kayode and Etebo moves to CM. my sense is already gone right now but the little I know is that Ndidi can still pop up with an odd goal and quite frankly he hasn't been bad today, I'd rather sub out Onazi or even Etebo before Ndidi but Kayode should come |

Oasis007: Seem some Dudes ain't watching the Match, only following on Twitter.
Onazi has been very fantastic. He's really playing well and deserves the Armband. I think Ndidi should make way in the 2nd half for Musa, then Etebo plays as B2B.
We need Iwobi's creativity in this Match, if we are really hoping to win it. I have said it before, Onazi and Ndidi will never work together and forget the fact that Onazi has been working hard, his passes especially the long ones still need a good deal of work, and he should stop trying it every time he gets the ball |

this match sef. ok move Iwobi to the middle and who will play on the left side? I mean Onyekuru is not in the match day squad and quite frankly Moses Simon should not come into that field in the second half, in fact he shouldn't near that team again for now, I have said that before. the idea for this second half should be simple, sub out Iwobi and put in Kayode, Etebo should move to the left but he will still be coming in so we will jus need to sacrifice the left flank(thats what we get for leaving Onyekuru out of the match day squad) then Iheanacho should play behind Kayode when not in possession and the formation reverts to a 4-4-2 when in possession |

komekn: I would not consider the projections Forgiveness presents as being ludicrous, as your remarks seem to suggest.
Let's set the background, the EPL is the proving grounds for this comparison on ability, delivery outcome and quality.
From the bottom up.
a) Tega (Onomah) Vs Nwakali, both are midfielders, The EPL arguably the best and most competitive league in the World. The Dutch Eredivisie ranked 13 in Europe. Nwakali is playing in the Dutch second division way below EPL, ahead of Onomah are world class midfielders ahead of Nwakali well nobody. My opinion Onomah is ahead and better for now.
b) Solanke is a striker so bringing Iwobi into it is somewhat questionable. KC is ahead for now but just. However, both of them will have to prove who is better when they start playing regular. KC possibly for WestHam and Solanke for Liverpool. Solanke is more of an out an out striker than KC nonetheless KC has a sharper eye for goal.
c) Seyi is ahead in my opinion is ahead has played 13 games for Liverpool and 28 in the championship. Orji has played 6 for Bologna. Shall I say Liverpool and Bologna no be mate. I can assure you Klopp rates Seyi.
d) Lookman proven and tested at his young age in the championship and now finding his way through the premiership. Onyekuru has played in the Belgium league considered much below the EPL. However, the main issue is he is the star player fir his team and plays a free do what you like role in his club. When he comes to the EPL much more physical and a lot faster he will not find it easy. To me Lookman Shades him market value also Lookman is still ahead.
Add to this the physicality and unforgiving nature of if the EPL no mistakes allowed. Some of these players could easily get lost. Just like Isaac Success after doing supposedly well with Granada in La Liga he has been a flop in the EPL and a waste-man.
So it's not a laughing matter but please Lol.
Finally I'm back to England. Where can I watch the match live don't think it's on TV ( Sky and or BT sport) please anybody know Epl the most competitive league? Ok now let me correct you there. Do you know that it is only in the Epl, Ligue 1 and the bundesliga that the champions are confirmed with three or more matches to go? This past season Chelsea did it, Leicester did it last season, Chelsea did it again the season before that, that is not competitive football at all. The Epl is the toughest league as regards to the physical nature of the league but after that nothing else. Just because the top teams aren't good enough doesn't make the league competitive |

forgiveness: Which one be joke? Na fact I dey tell you, oh.. ha! but how can a grown man even say something like this na? Solanke better than Iheanacho? When his speed is zero, dribbling abilities zero, technicality zero, how is he better than Iheanacho? Because he scored 4 goals at the U20? An italian guy has 5 goals in that same competition playing as their number 7 i think. The rest of the comparisons you made are just.....shocking |

Joebie:
Top Five Performance In Eagles Training – Ndidi Stars, Mu’azam, Omeruo & Ogu In Top Three
Akwa United star forward Alhassan Ibrahim is making inroads with the senior national team of Nigeria , with the lanky forward putting up another strong performance in training today despite coming on after the session has started.
Mu’azam replaced Uche Agbo few minutes into the session, and his abilities to pick out his man with well weighted passes even in tight situations earned him applause from the spectators who chanted “Kanu”, whenever he is on the ball.
Kenneth Omeruo who had his first training session with the team paired William Troost-Ekong and put in a strong shift which frustrated Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi, and to a large extent Oghenekaro Etebo.
Omeruo was particularly impressive in winning tackles neatly and helping in turning defence into attack for his team, who were very much pack filled with players who are either new or freshers in the team.
John Ogu picked up from where he stopped in yesterday’s session with another solid performance at the heart of the defence, as part of a back three with Chidozie Awaziem and Elderson Echiejile as his partners.
Ogu was dominant in aerial duels, and picking out long range passes. His size also helped him barge players off the ball with minimal fuss despite playing in central defence as opposed to his original role as a defensive midfielder.
Ahmed Musa is also proving that his poor form for Leicester City isn’t an issue as he was once again one of the liveliest players during the session with his pace proving to be the only problem Ogu had in defence.
Wilfred Ndidi had a captain performance in the midfield dovetailing nicely with captain Ogenyi Onazi, with Onazi allowing him the space to push further up the pitch, where he can be deadly with his shooting abilities. Osas Mahawi

Mane did not take the premier league by storm.. He was a decent player, nothing more. he was already playing for Austria wien when he left, by then he was already 70% developed at least. meanwhile a player who almost singlehandedly led Liverpool to a top four finish is just a decent player? but.... Iheanacho for example is a world beater? the kind of bias statements you guys make ehn... |

TheGoodJoe: So because CR7 came from EPL and took the World by storm, every player from England will take the World by storm? Duh.
I am pointing out that two quality players from a league is a poor figure. I said should I list players from other top leagues to explain competition.
I am not saying that Kayode can not pull of a big show, I am saying the competition is poor there. Highlighting beating Roma does not make the competition stronger. Alaba and Mane does not make the competition stronger.
I said the league is weak. What was his team's position in the league? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mickael2(m): 8:59pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
TheGoodJoe: Pass which point?
He said because Austria Vienna beat Roma, we should take the league seriously. I disagree because the point is that the competition in the league for the top goal scoring position is weak. So a team doing well does not change the fact.
So please, tell me the point he was passing across that changes the fact that the Austrian leagueis weak. What he is saying is simple. Mane came from the Austrian league and took the premier league by storm, I mean Liverpool couldn't win a match without him. Alaba for some is easily the best left back in the game and he came from the Austrian league so that tells me and you that their league is great, he merely used the trashing of As Roma to point out the strength but what you are saying isn't even making sense |

TheGoodJoe: Should I give a list of stars in the La Liga, EPL, Serie A and Bundesliga for you to understand the gap in the quality of these leagues to Austria? All I am saying is do not make being the top scorer in Austria such a big deal. The competition is far less there. do you even understand the point the guy is trying to pass across? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mickael2(m): 8:45pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
OMANBALA1: Kayode is a super talent in a lowly rated Austrian league. If so,then Nwakaeme is equally a super talent...Personally,I rate Israeli league above the Austrian league. He needs to move to a more competitive league like the Netherlands,Belgium or even Russia. If he remains in Austria young bloods like Osimhen and Orji will displace him. I will assume you were busy when you typed this. when you are less busy, take a cold water bath to relax your mind then come online and read this stuff you just typed and you will realise how crazy it sounds. Israeli league is better than the Austrian league? can you name four teams in the Israeli league without the aid of Google? and yes, Nwakeme is equally good, why these two guys are left out for players like Oshimen is what we are complaining about |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mickael2(m): 12:40pm On Jun 05, 2017 |
Joebie: The problem is when we think a player has done better at the club level and should be considered ahead of another right away. Guys there are several factors in play. Invitation and dropping of a player is not based SOLELY on club performance.
Personally as a coach, if Osimhen impresses me in camp, the likelihood of me inviting him again is higher than inviting someone who JUST STARTED shining at club level. Coaches know that club form does not automatically translate internationally, which is why they give it time, until they are convinced they should give a new player a chance. Guys lets not forget that Mikel Agu has been in form all season. He just got his chance. But Orji just started shining..
If some of us here were coaches our player invitation list will change drastically every time because we go by the players performance after every club match. na wa oh.
And to the Ajagun matter. It is one thing to say he deserves a call up. It's yet another to say he is better than someone who have been flawless for SE, just because he seems more versatile. If Okocha were playing today will you say Ajagun is better because he is more versatile? Rohr may not need that versatility in the team at the moment. A jack of all trade is not necessarily a master of any. Versatility does not always mean better. Yes Ajagun could be an option in the future. I'm not saying he is not good enough. Just because he is #10 in his club does not mean if he were in SE right now he will be considered ahead of Mikel, Iwobi, or Etebo in that role. We are talking about Roda JC for God sake. Can you name another player in that team? Are they even still in the Eredivisie? this thread tire me. When people question Shehu's inclusion in the team because we have better fullbacks some people will say it's because he is versatile(I even accepted that assumption), now it's Ajagun's turn and you guys are saying Rohr doesn't want versatile players, what then does Rohr want? |

I think you should ask past under 17, 20, 23 and current super eagles that question.... they all should have Answers on why they keep inviting the lad.... afterall....them all can't be partial at the same time here I might borrow an idea from Komekn, what if it's not from the coaches but the board? |

OMANBALA1: You just talk for talking sake. These are your wishes ,that Ajagun is better than Iwobi,Iheanacho and WORK HORSE OGHENEKARO. So,if you are made the coach you will start Ajagun ahead of any of these guys ? This is probably why another Onigbinde will never coach a Nigerian team again. Why don't you invite Azeeze,Awoniyi and Gbolahan and start them. Quoting him out of context is quite wrong. He didn't say he is better, he said he can be more effective in 5 roles and that he can also play the no 10 better. Ok name Iwobi's 5 positions |

tbaba1234: Orji will get his time.. Osimhen has been part of the set-up since Rohr took over. Rohr knows enough of him to keep inviting him. when will that time be? I mean now he is playing as good as ever, a national team invitation will only increase the young man's confidence so that he can continue to grow on the right path. Why are we inviting Oshimen? Let's face it, even if we are a goal down Oshimen won't come in before Onyekuru, Kayode or even Moses Simon, he is there for the future and coincidentally Orji his teammate(another prospect for the future) is doing absolutely well right now, why aren't we using the same argument for him? |
