what is the role of C in C of a nation if he can't lead the war, all the great leaders lead the nation in the war, Winston Churchill, Charles De Gaulle, Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela... this just shows that we have a coward president and C in C, whose interest is just to be in power and not fight for the nation. Jonathan ways with whatever name sambo called it on tackling Boko Haram has led to the death of thousands of Nigeria n's and the destruction of their properties. Why didn't he act when your National Security Adviser (NSA) man, the late AZAZI told him the obvious truth. Just ask yourself why Jonathan not act decisively against Boko haram and why we have not seen first execution of Boko haram suspect and their sponsor being convicted in the law Court.? Do we really believe that Boko Haram is faceless & the members are spirits? Boko Haram capitalised on Jonathan's emptiness and focus on looting instead of equipping the military to recruit, acquire weapons and has now overwhelmed our indolent military. Mr president suddenly remember to visit borno and campaign in borno during election period but finds the same borno unsafe to visit when the citizens need him most. ( so convenient ). God detest hypocrisy "do unto others as you'd have them do". Niger Army, Cameroun Army and Chad Army were able to drive away Boko haram and Just earlier in the week Chad army reclaimed Nigerian territory captured by Boko haram. What a shame. Nigerian soldiers asking for better ammunitions were sentenced to death and charged with treason. You claimed over public media that sponsors are in your government and nothing was done about it. Mr. President, pls convince yourself if you know nothing about Boko haram Abacha in one of his famous quotes asserted that, any terrorist activity cannot linger in any part of Nigeria except the Government has something to benefit from or is part sponsoring it. The late ex-National Security Adviser did allude to this before, he was silenced permanently "Boko Haram is a product of bad government" - US Intelligence Today, accusing fingers are being pointed at others. Ethnicity and religion are now tearing the country apart let vote for a CHANGE to move Nigeria forward |

The giant of Africa, the 3rd, largest growing economy . if there any Nigerian that does not feel something on hearing this news, then that soul must be irredeemable. It so sad, Their homes, their loved ones, and their future have been taken away from them. The forcibly displaced families have to deal with even harsher living conditions. - They need a health clinic / Mobile clinic to treat the sick, injured or traumatized / social centres with drugs and medical supplies - - Shelter and settlement - Running water or water tankers to supply water - a school for the displaced children running by covering staff costs, supplying school materials and providing the children with a healthy snack and school bag. - clothing, blankets, heating stoves for cooking - need information, not just food, water and shelter Communicating with, and providing information to, people affected by the crisis are two of the most important elements of humanitarian response. The priority information needs among the displaced people are threefold: more information about their places of origin and family members who were left behind; better information on aid services, criteria and procedures for registering for assistance and information about the future including the possibility of resettlement. Their needs are not only food and water, they want to know about our future. Nigerians please vote wisely, vote for your future , vote for the future of your children. We cannot go on like this we need Change. #Every child matters #whyarethechibokgirlsstillmissing |
Femi Fani-Kayode, the spokesperson for President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign organisation, has denied the allegation that he manipulated a document from Cambridge University to justify his claim that that General Muhammadu Buhari’s West African School Certificate’s statement of result was forged. In a statement Tuesday, by his Special Assistant, Sufuyan Ojeifo, Mr. Fani-Kayode said the allegation against him were baseless and unfounded. Read full statement below. PRESS STATEMENT Buhari Certificate Saga: Allegation of document manipulation against Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is indicative of desperation by the opposition The attention of the Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has been drawn to some media reports alleging that he manipulated a document from Cambridge University to justify his claim that that General Muhammadu Buhari’s West African School Certificate’s statement of result was forged. Chief Fani-Kayode wishes to state clearly that he never issued a statement signed by him in his capacity as spokesperson of the PDP Presidential Campaign neither did he address a press conference nor briefing where he referred to the Cambridge document in question. He also did not validate the content of the said document on any occasion. As far as he is concerned, he, as a person, does not know of the existence of the said Cambridge e-mail document and what the content is all about. He never commented on the content of the document and therefore how that translated into forgery beats the imagination. To be clear, he has not been in touch with Cambridge to request for any information in respect of the issue in question. What he has done, especially during his last press conference on General Buhari’s published statement of result was to make assertions to the effect that the statement of result was forged and illegally procured; and had called on the police to track down the masterminds of the forgery. For the record, it is important to state that the media report on which the allegation of manipulation against Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was grounded happens to be the THISDAY news report of Monday, January 26, 2015 with the headline “Certificate Saga: Hausa Language Was Not Offered in 1961, says Report”. The news report was apparently muddled up in its facts and presentation in paragraph 13 wherein it said that Chief Fani-Kayode “CLAIMED that he came across an e-mail dated Thursday, January, 2015 from the institution’s (Cambridge) Archives Delivery Service Officer, Jacky Emerson, to one Sodiq Alabi who requested confirmation if the examination body offered Hausa Language in the 1961 West African Examination it organized.” It is hereby categorically stated that there is no such press statement anywhere in the whole wide world signed by Chief Fani-Kayode wherein he made any such claim. The other references to Chief Fani-Kayode in the THISDAY news report were a recall or tie-back of all that he said at his press conference in Abuja last Thursday on the forged statement of result purported to be General Buhari’s. The allegation of manipulation against Chief Fani-Kayode is, therefore, indicative of desperation by the opposition who should have spoken to the issue of whether or not General Buhari has a certificate or not. Femi Fani Kayode " The problem that we have is the President himself- a President who prides himself on his own weakness and incompetence and whose love of false prophets and strange women knows no bounds and has no end. A President who is as confused and as clueless as the comic character called Chancey Gardner in the celebrated 1970’s Peter Seller’s Hollywood blockbuster titled ”Being There”. A President who does not understand the meaning of the word ”class” or ”honesty” and who breaks his own word consistently. A President who has abdicated his responsibilities, destroyed his own political party, divided his own country, alienated his own friends, humiliated his own mentor, abandoned his own people, brought ridicule to his own faith, cowers before his own officials, betrays his own governors, scorns the international community and breaks his solemn oath to protect and defend the Nigerian people. A President who does not even have the nerve or the guts to call to order any of the numerous Jezebels that control him. He is the problem we have in our country today and until he resigns, is impeached or is voted out of power nothing will change and Nigeria will continue to go from bad to worse. That is what you get when you vote for a man who never wore shoes to school. The PDP will continue to sink because it is a political party that has lost it’s bearing and it’s soul and it has mortgaged it’s conscience. it is a party that has been rejected by God and whose leaders are suffering God’s judgement for their unjust, gluttonous, wicked, foul and evil ways. PDP campaign manager FFK ... "“OBJ has finally closed GEJ’s chapter with his letter. Jonathan is finished- mark my words. Abati should shut up and let his boss speak for himself on this one. The Ebora Owu has spoken and the issues that he has raised are too serious to be ignored or to be responded to with amatuerish and cheeky insults and slurs from a mere staff of the Presidency. The President should find the courage to personally answer the charges and address the message rather than get his aides to attack the messenger. "Femi Fani- Kayode comes as a relevance seeking opportunist who is fond of jumping into every national issue and almost always injecting tribalism into simple issues of citizenship or social justice as a strategy. Being incapable of being objective or constructive his articles/utterances are often full of contradictions and sometimes outright nonsense. He has nonetheless carved a niche for himself as a disrespectful, talkative loudmouth and one of the rabidly bigoted/ignorant Nigerians who thrive in fanning the flames of the “tribalism industry.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/08/femi-fani-kayodes-gaffe-on-lagos-deportation/ "In the after math of the Kano bombing which claimed the lives of scores of Nigerians, Fani-Kayode was in his elements. He wasted no time in declaring that the President is overwhelmed with demonstrable inability to contain the growing insecurity. Given his stark verdict, he called on the President to quit." http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/06/femi-fani-kayode-and-the-state-of-the-nation/ "Lest we forget, Fani- Kayode, it was, who was the attack dog of ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo. During his ignoble reign, no statesman was spared his vitriolic attacks either out of his eagerness to secure his job or at the behest of the ex-president. He was an embarrassment to the office of the president and had to be removed from the ex-president’s information management team to save it from the ridicule he had exposed it by his numerous gaffes and disjoined rationalisations" " Given the several swirling allegations of fraud and embezzlement surrounding him, Fani-Kayode lacks the moral authority to pontificate on corruption and good governance since he is hardly a role model." http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/06/femi-fani-kayode-and-the-state-of-the-nation/ Have you asked this Femi Fani-Kayode or who ever caused this sage whether he has a pure motives with his write up or to get people more frustrated and start a cold war. One day Nigerians will appreciate the importance of facts, figures and statistics and the consequences of tolerating atrocious, lousy, insensitive and unaccountable governments. Whether anyone likes to accept it or not, the bitter truth is that 80 per cent of our GRADUATES are unemployed in Nigeria today whilst 51 per cent of our PEOPLE are also unemployed. As a frightful and grave consequence of these shocking statistics, which I happen to believe may well be a world record in terms of unemployment, a terrible tragedy occurred in various cities in our country on 15th March, 2014. On that day approximately 520,000 of our youths gathered together in sports stadiums in various cities all over our country for an aptitude test for just 4,556 jobs that were available in the Immigration Service. These staggering numbers were given out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs itself. Sixty thousand of those youths gathered at Abuja’s National Stadium alone and sadly 10 of them were were crushed to death in a stampede whilst looking for those jobs whilst many others were injured. It did not stop there. Another 20,000 youths gathered in the stadium at Port Harcourt, Rivers state for aptitude tests for the same 4,556 jobs and there was another stampede there as well in which four of their colleagues were killed and four more were so badly wounded that they remain in a coma up until now. Similar gatherings for the same Immigration aptitude test took place in cities all over the country all for a shot at the same 4,556 jobs and three young pregnant girls together with three male youths were killed in a similar stampede at the stadium in Minna, Niger state. The deaths of youths were also reported in stadiums in some of our other cities as well including Benin and Kano. The only crime that all these children that were either killed, maimed or injured in these horrific stampedes in the stadiums of all these cities like Abuja, Port Harcourt, Minna, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Benin and elsewhere had committed was to try to get a job, to fight for a better life for themselves and to try to secure their future. What a tragedy! One day Nigerians will appreciate the importance of facts, figures and statistics and the consequences of tolerating atrocious, lousy, insensitive and unaccountable governments. They will also understand the implications of having a government that has no qualms about taking advantage of the pitiful plight of its own youths and citizens and scamming them in the most obvious and shameful manner. Why should anyone be surprised that 520,000 of our youths gathered in stadiums all over the country on March 15 just to apply for a relatively tiny handful of jobs that are available in the Immigration Service? This is so SIMPLY because there are NO jobs available for these youth in our country. I repeat 80 per cent of our GRADUATES are unemployed and 51 per cent of our PEOPLE are unemployed. Sadly these figures have been confirmed by various international organisations even though the Nigerian Federal Government often seeks to deny them. Given this deplorable state of affairs, why won’t our youths die and be killed or injured whilst looking for the few jobs that are available? Why won’t they gather in stadiums all over the country in their hundreds of thousands just to do an aptitude test for a job in Immigration for which there are only 4,556 vacancies? Why should anyone be surprised by this madness and this turmoil? Why should anyone be moved by this horrific carnage when it is now a regular phenomenon in our country for children to be slaughtered. If they are not butchered whilst at school by islamist fundamentalists they are slaughtered whilst they are looking for jobs from a heartless government which has effectively destroyed their future. Yet look for jobs they must because these children and these youth are desperate and they are suffering. To make matters worse they are also being taken advantage of and scammed by their own government who are desperate to extort money from them by all means available. If this were not the case why would the Comptroller-General of Immigration and the Minister of Internal Affairs order that each and every one of those youths that flooded the stadiums in their hundreds of thousands and that stood in the sun should be made to pay 1000 naira each for the forms that they were to use to do the aptitude test at the various stadiums all over the country. Someone was set to make a whole lot of money considering the fact that 520,000 youths were involved in this shameless exercise and the amount of cash that they must have made runs into at least 520 million naira. The whole thing was just a massive and monumental scam to extort hundreds of millions of naira from these poor, young and innocent souls and many of our youths have paid for it with their lives. This is what President Goodluck Jonathan’s Nigeria has done to them. We now have an army of angry, jobless, frustrated, disillusioned and desperate youths on our hands in this country and consequently we are literally sitting on a keg of gunpowder. May God help us and may He forgive us for failing these children and destroying their futures. Other than this I will say no more on this matter because the truth is that most Nigerians no longer ”give a damn” when blood is shed and when lives are taken. This is so even when those lives are those of children. Permit me to give an example. On the very same day that our youth were dying in stadiums looking for jobs with Immigration, another 100 innocent people were being slaughtered by ”unknown gunmen” in southern Kaduna and no one seems to care. Again only two days before then, on March 13th 2014, 110 innocent Nigerians were butchered by what were described in the press as a group of ”Fulani gunmen who were on motorbikes” in Katsina state whilst the President was on an official visit there. What a tragedy! Under President Goodluck Jonathan, we have become a nation of vampires where the death of innocent children and youths means nothing and where we cannot even provide jobs or a decent standard of living for our young ones. Instead we attempt to scam them and to extort money from them. What a government! What a country! If our government had any sense of decency, justice or accountability, the Comptroller-General of Immigration and the Minister of Internal Affairs would have not only been compelled to resign or fired by now but they would also have been arrested and would be facing criminal charges for, at the very best, criminal negligence and manslaughter and, at the very worse, accessories before the fact to murder. Yet we know that that will never happen as long as President Goodluck Jonathan is in power. Far from it. As a matter of fact instead of bowing his head in shame and showing any sense of contrition or remorse the Minister of Internal Affairs has come out shamelessly and blamed the dead youth themselves by saying that ”they did not exercise enough patience during the exercise”. May God forgive this man. I wonder if he would have expressed such sentiments if any of his own children had been killed in the stampede. Permit me to end this contribution by quoting from a moving email that I received from a dear Nigerian family friend who herself is a mother and who presently resides in the United Kingdom with her family. She sent it to me the day after the tragic death of the youths in the stadium. I have obtained her permission to share her words in this write-up but for obvious reasons I will not mention her name. She wrote- ”Good morning uncle Femi. I honestly don’t know where to start from. My heart is so heavy. What is it about Nigeria that (or is it we as a nation) nothing good comes out of the news. I’m beginning to wonder if there is nothing wrong with me when I go through websites expectant of only bad news. Why don’t I ever expect anything good to come out if Nigeria? I don’t even know what to tell my children again. I try to give them a balanced view of the country but something would always come up to make nonsense of that. Why would any sane person want to come and live in that madness called Nigeria where nothing is guaranteed. Life is not guaranteed, jobs are not guaranteed, education is not guaranteed, security is not guaranteed, a decent daily meal is not guaranteed. I could go on and on. I came to a realization recently which is self-preservation. Abi shebi it’s life/self first. When I saw the early morning pictures of the crowd of youths at the Abuja stadium my heart just sank because I could almost write the script of what would follow. And so I waited (expectantly?)and wasn’t disappointed. Would anything come out of it? No. Would life go on? Yes. Do they care? No. And the slowpoke of a Minister had the gall to say that candidates died because of ”impatience”. Meanwhile the so-called aptitude test was just a ruse. They had handpicked their preferred candidates weeks ago. The crowd alone told me that we have a serious problem of youth unemployment yet Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala would come out and be reeling stupid figures. Please tell her that she’s not fooling anyone. As if the unemployment is not bad enough government is opening more universities like daycare centers and still granting licenses for private universities. Who is going to absorb these teeming unemployed graduates? Where are the industries? Are you creating an enabling environment for investment? In fact I’m just done with agonizing over Nigeria. Self first please!” Her words and counsel moved me to tears. As far as I am concerned she captured the mood very well and her simple yet succinct submission is reflective of the thinking and deep pain of millions of Nigerians from all over the world that are fast losing hope in their nation. Yet what can we do but just continue to hope and pray. What can we do for the future of our children and to better the fortunes of our nation? This is indeed food for thought. As the bible says, ”May God deliver us from bloodthirsty and evil men” and ”May the balm of Gilead heal our wounds and comfort our mourning souls”. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/157010-looking-jobs-finding-death-femi-fani-kayode.html Please vote wisely . your vote matters. |

“Mr. President has failed woefully to protect the lives and property of the Nigerian people.” On May 4, Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram, proclaimed: “I am going to marry out any woman who is twelve-years-old, and if she is younger, I will marry her out at the age of nine. You are all in danger. I am the one who captured all those girls and will sell all of them. Slavery is allowed in my religion, and I shall capture people and make them slaves. We are on our way to Abuja and we shall also visit the South. I am going to kill all the Imams and other Islamic clerics in Nigeria because they are not Muslims since they follow democracy and constitution. It is Allah that instructed us, until we soak the ground of Nigeria with Christian blood, and so-called Muslims contradicting Islam. We will kill and wonder what to do with their smelling corpses. This is a war against Christians and democracy and their constitution’’. It is self-evident that Mr. Shekau is not only a dangerous, barbaric, sadistic, delusional, homicidal, misogynistic, paedophilic, psycopathic and sociopathic cold-blooded murderer all rolled into one but his words adequately reflect the sheer ruthlessness, callousness and depravity that has seized the Haramite mind. There is no doubt in my mind that he is possessed by the most cruel and vampiric demons and that he has a bloodlust that is second to none. Even Al Qaeda, with all it’s wickedness, have apparently condemned the latest atrocity committed by Boko Haram in Chibok. Yet despite their unspeakable depravity they appear to have a few powerful friends at home who are speaking for them. Permit me to give just one example. Instead of joining the rest of the civilised world and insisting that the terrorists must be utterly crushed, a group known as the Northern Elders have said that the Federal Government ”should pay billions as ransom to Shekau and release all detained Boko Haram members” and that there must be ”no foreign forces in Nigeria”. They have also demanded that ”force should not be used” in securing the freedom of the abducted girls. These demands are repugnant. It is the same people that did not want troops to be deployed to the area in the first place. It is the same people that did not want a state of emergency to be declared in the north. It is the same people that have been urging the government to negotiate with Boko Haram for the last three years. It is the same people that have consistently asked that Boko Haram should be treated with kid gloves and that they should be offered amnesty even though the group has slaughtered no less than 10,000 innocent people in the last three years. It is the same people that are suggesting that Boko Haram is actually a creation of the CIA, MOSSAD and the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN. It is one of these northern elders that referred to Boko Haram as ”freedom fighters” who are simply ‘’fighting for justice’’ only last year. It is another that said that members of Boko Haram ought to be treated ”in the same way as the Niger Delta militants” and that they should be rehabilitated, resettled and paid large sums of money only last year. It is another that said that ‘’muslims should only vote for those that would protect their interests’’ and that he would see to it that ‘’sharia law is implemented and applied throughout the whole country’’ in 2001. It is another that said that Nigeria was created by the British and granted independence by them in 1960 on the clear understanding that ”a northern muslim would always lead the country’’ in 1994. It is another that said that if the north does not have it’s way on the voting formula at the Constitutional Conference he would lead his people ”out of Nigeria and into the Cameroons’’ just over a month ago. It is another that said that they would make our country ‘’ungovernable’’ if a southerner was elected into power in 2011. It is another that said, only a few weeks ago, that our country ‘’would burn’’ if Jonathan or any other southerner contests the presidential election in 2015. It is another that told us last year that ”poverty was the root cause of Boko Haram” and that the south was receiving too much money whilst the north was not receiving enough. How much more of these provocative rationalisations, threats and rhetoric can we be expected to take? Just three weeks after the Haramites have abducted almost 300 young school girls at Chibok, burnt down their school and kept them as sex slaves, just a few days after they abducted eight more at Warabe Village, Borno State, just two weeks after two bombs went off in Nyanya, Abuja killing a total of 150 people between them and just three days after no less than 350 innocent people were slaughtered by the terrorists in Gamborou Ngala, a border town with the Cameroons, these northern elders are saying that force must not be used against them. This is unacceptable and their suggestion must be treated with the contempt that it deserves. I do not know what it will take for the Nigerian people to accept the fact that Boko Haram is the greatest evil that our country has ever had to contend with and that there can be no dialogue with such demons. I do not know what it will take for these northern elders to accept the fact that evil is evil, that you must never negotiate with terrorists and that their ”gentle way” simply cannot work. The truth is that until every single one of the Haramites is hunted down, brought to justice and despatched to hell there will be no peace in our country. We must also eliminate those who secretly encourage, fund and protect them. I have always viewed those that have suggested that Boko Haram should be treated with kid gloves with the utmost suspicion. It is either we live in a civilised secular state where the rule of law prevails, where beasts have no place and where murderous animals are treated like the savages that they are or we shall have no country at all. All this talk about ”not using force” must stop because it is nonsensical, it is counter-productive and it presents a very real threat to our desire to continue to live as one nation. Those that abduct, rape, kill and enslave children do not deserve to live. Those that believe that the Haramites are rational and that ”force should not be used against them” should proceed to the Sambisa Forest and give up them their own daughters in exchange for our missing girls. After they have done that they can be as gentle as they like with Boko Haram. In all this President Goodluck Jonathan has much to learn and I would be the last person to endorse what I consider to be his inexplicable restraint and obvious weakness in the fight against Boko Haram. Mr. President has failed woefully to protect the lives and property of the Nigerian people and no responsible, self-respecting and rational human being, including those that consider themselves to be his officials and friends, should fail to admit this or should shy away from telling him. We expect far better from him and if he fails to deliver on this he would not only have betrayed his mandate, violated his oath of office and let down the Nigerian people but he will play right into the hands of his sworn enemies and critics. These include the Haramites and their secret friends and others of a more benign nature from the other side of the world like the American Senator John Mcain, who gleefully told the whole world just yesterday that ”no government exists in Nigeria”. It also includes Senator Hilary Clinton, who said only two days ago, that the Federal Government of Nigeria had ”squandered their oil wealth, allowed corruption to fester and now they are losing control of parts of their country”. I am touched by these admonitions from our American friends but one wonders why it took the Obama administration up until early this year to formally recognise Boko Haram as a terrorist organisation despite repeated calls to do so earlier by many prominent Nigerians including Ayo Oritsejafor, the President of CAN. When Mrs. Clinton was Secretary of State for America the State Department simply refused to label Boko Haram as a terrorist group even though it had butchered thousands of Nigerians by that time. There is no doubt that the Jonathan administration has handled this matter in a wholly unacceptable and inadequate manner and I have said so more than any other in the last three years; but frankly the Americans, and particularly Senator Clinton, must carry their own fair share of the blame in this matter. For President Goodluck Jonathan, the words of my brother, Opeyemi Agbaje, are instructive. On May 9, he wrote: ”we warned Jonathan. We called for action against Boko Haram and we screamed until our voices went hoarse. Now the people who advised him against taking strong action and called for dialogue, the very people that said it was caused by poverty, the very people that promised that traditional rulers would resolve the matter, the very people that encouraged him to vacillate and do nothing or little, are the ones mocking him. Well that is why leaders must exercise leadership. The buck stops at his table. The credit or the failure goes to him. I hope he learns!” A word is enough for the wise. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/160531-boko-haram-jonathan-northern-elders-femi-fani-kayode.html http://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/161006-goodbye-nigeria-welcome-oduduwa-republic-by-femi-fani-kayode.html |

You people are on wild goose chase lol. some agents of the opposition at work again? Remember OBJ said & I quote “The issue (of Buhari’s certificate) came up in 2007, and we investigated and found out that his WASEC is with the military and that was why he was allowed to contest in 2007 " The "we" there included GEJ. Remember , You are dealing with reputation of Military institution & retired general here which OBJ is one . The reputation of the Military will be defended weather GEJ / PDP likes it or not . All the information available already favor GMB according to Nigerian Constitution . His old school traced and confirmed his statement of Result which copied from University of Cambridge list of 1961 set result ,. A serving judge boldly confirmed that he wrote the same exam with him , Group picture of his set also confirmed him. The University of Cambridge confirmed content of his result . Still some lawyers already challenged him in court of law . What a wasted effort ! The constitution and electoral act did not say anyone must submit his certificate, it made provisions for an affidavit stating your certificate you intend to use. Buhari Met INEC criteria that is why you have not heard INEC saying anything instead they have accepted him as the APC candidate because INEC have lawyers that do their legal work. INEC is not asking for Buhari certificates it is a PDP propaganda. Buhari originally did not want to address this matter because it is a waste of time to him because INEC has not requested his certificate, and even till Now INEC has never requested it, he submitted it voluntarily because INEC is satisfied with the Affidavit he first submitted. Fani kayode is playing the wrong game with Buhari, he was in the APC he ran to PDP when they dropped charges of corruption against him. He cannot be trusted. LET ME PUT IT THIS WAY.. GMB swore to an affidavit that as at the time of submitting his form, his documents were with the military. But since the military to his surprise denied such,he had collected copies from his school and now submitted to INEC,duly acknowledged. Haba please lets move on na . Pls get your PVC and vote wisely. Vote for the future of children. #thechibokgirlsarestillmissing |
Please we take too much concern about certificate when infact the world has passed beyond paper qualities but focus on human qualities, what can you do and what can you offer, what can you bring to the table? Now the electoral act provides that he shows he attended school up to WASC level, he can show proof by providing certificate or he can show proof of ever going to school, which I believe he has. My point is this, did he go to school? Yes, Was he a drop out? No. Does he have other qualifications? Yes. Why center on WASC alone? if i was Buhari and i know i really have my credentials,i will make billions on top of fkayode and all those who choose to defame my reputation when i take the matter to court. |
We, the people, will decide. Nigerian must vote their conscience come February 14 2015, 2019 or anytime for that matter not being guilded by sentiments such as religion, ethnics, tribe or ageism. Don't allow politicians to divide us -- When they share money, they don't talk about religion. --When they want donations from Alhaji Aliko Dangote, they don't remember he's staunch muslim. --When Mega rich Alhajis give them contract, they don't reject it. -- They and their wives or concubines go to Dubai to lavish our common wealth on trivial principalities. --They have no problems buying houses in Dubai which is in United Arab Emirates-a core muslim country, but when it comes to politics back home, they say they want to ISLAMISE you. How do u defined religious extremist? -religious men like Oyedepo were spiritual consultants to Abacha and Umaru Ya'adua. GEJ that have visited almost all the big churches in Nigeria and visited Jerusalem almost every year -Sambo mention t at campaign rally in Katsina and Bauchi that Buhari is a fake muslim and planned to christianize Nigeria by picking Osinbajo, yet same campaign train come to the south to call Buahri an islamic extremist aiming to islamize Nigeria. |
I will offer Doyin 20 million if he can show me his WAEC result. |
y not make it 10 million na..very stingy. |
Did Buhari say Muslims should only vote for Muslim leaders? Answer: NO. In June 2001, Sheikh Sidi Attahiru Ibrahim launched his book at a Dan Fodio University event. General Muhammadu Buhari was invited to chair the event, where he spoke ex-tempore. Later that month, Buhari granted an interview to Rev, Fr. Matthew Hassan Kukah (present day Catholic Bishop of Sokoto) confirming what he said at the book launch. Here is the relevant portion of Kukah’s report on what Buhari said during their June 23, 2001 conversation (which was published in the Weekly Trust edition of July 6-12, 2001) “During the course of my comments, I drew attention to the fact that the introduction of Sharia had become one of the main issues in this new dispensation. I explained that Sharia, however, has been with us well before the British colonized Nigeria. Now, Sharia has been introduced in many Northern states and Sokoto is one of the states that has already adopted Sharia. It must be pointed out however that Sharia is applicable only to Muslims. Those elements that have taken the law into their hands and use the opportunity to molest other non-Muslims are not helping the cause. What is amore, they are like bad policemen or judges who are making the enforcement of justice so difficult in Nigeria. Their shortcoming does not do the police force or the judiciary any good, but these acts do not detract from the imperative of both institutions. Midway through our democracy, we have time now to assess the situation on ground in terms of making our choice in the next elections. Vote for good men whether they are in Borno, Katsina, Sokoto or wherever. Vote for those who will protect your interest. This, Rev. Father, is the summary of every thing I said and the tapes are there.” (1) Nothing controversial in any portion of that statement, I’d say? The controversy began when Ahmed Oyerinde, a long time Sokoto correspondent for ThisDay and other Newspapers, (who was not at the venue of the book launch when Buhari spoke) made up the false quote and reported this as fact in ThisDay. In the aftermath of his report, the tape of the event was played and no such statement was found there. Oyerinde later confessed to his Editors that he was not at the event and did not hear Buhari say any such thing. I was told that ThisDay later published a retraction of the report. (2) For the record, Oyerinde, sadly now late, had been the subject of a disciplinary investigation by Nigerian Press watchdogs for allegations of taking money to write false and mischievous stories. The allegations were confirmed and he was reprimanded. One of these investigations dates back to 1990. (3) Yet, despite Buhari’s many denials, and the defence of neutral observers like Fr. Kukah & Garba Shehu the peddlers of this lie keep repeating them maliciously. REFERENCES: 1. Kukah, Matthew Hassan, Weekly Trust Newspaper, Abuja, July 6-12, 2001 2. What Buhari Never Said 29th December 2014 Let us set the records straight. As Nigerians prepare to vote for progress and change in the upcoming Presidential elections, it is pertinent certain popular statements attributed to chief opposition candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari are set straight for God and man. Firstly, did General Buhari ever say he or they will make Nigeria ungovernable? The answer to this is a resounding, NO! In an earlier write-up we carefully researched this inflammatory statement and discovered that it was made by a then PDP politician, Lawal Kaita from Kaduna. This is why the late NSA, Andrew Owoye Azazi said that it was internal PDP politics and their squabbles on zoning/rotation of the Presidency that led to the “sudden sophistication of Boko Haram.” It was within PDP that the discussion of rotation of the presidency came up, and Lawal Kaita was perturbed with Jonathan’s decision to continue late Umaru Yar’Adua’s term in violation of the parties zoning policy. This was when Jonathan promised to only contest/occupy the top spot one additional term (in addition to his completing Yar’Adua’s term) and also when some northern PDP stalwarts and party founders threatened to make Nigeria ungovernable. There was no such confusion in Buhari’s CPC and thus no need and reason for such inflammatory pronouncements from his quarters. When Reuben Abati spun this statement upon the person of Buhari, the General took him to court for libel and the court judgment as awarded in Buhari’s favor. Buhari dragged Abati and The Guardian to court via suit no. ID/837/2011 and demanded N1billion damages. President Goodluck Jonathan then begged Buhari to settle out-of-court. See in DailyPost of January 13th, 2013: http://dailypost.ng/2013/01/13/presidency-begs-buhari-to-settle-slander-case-out-of-court/. The empathetic General agreed and Reuben Abati and the Guardian where the libelous article was published were made to publish an unreserved retraction of the slander against Buhari which they did in the Guardian of July 11, 2013. This is why Reuben Abati is called Nigeria’s evil genius. Our full article on this with all references can be read here on ENDS.ng: http://ends.ng/fact-it-was-pdp-that-promised-to-make-nigeria-ungovernable-in-2011-buhari-never-did/ Did General Buhari promise election riots in 2011? The answer to this is again, NO! General Buhari never prescribed riots or made any threat related to such in regards to the 2011 elections. He took the case of election rigging to court and never made a single statement containing threats in relation to it. The Lemu panel investigation of the post-election riots cleared the General of any guilt or complicity. The General released an exemplary press statement on the court’s ruling which can be read on SaharaReporters of December 28, 2011: http://saharareporters.com/2011/12/28/statement-general-muhammadu-buhari-regarding-verdict-supreme-court-jonathans-election Buhari did however state that if 2015 was a repeat of the rigging on 2011, there will be a fierce fight He used the kare jini biri jinni Hausa proverb, which roughly cuts as ‘the dog and baboon will be soaked in the same blood,’ but is an idiom which means, there will be a real battle- could be legal; could be protests or any other battle, as this is a mere proverbial statement. Of course those who wished to paint this statement with the ‘blood’ contained in it did so eagerly as we see they have done in many other of his statements and statements attributed to him. Read more on the idiom here, by Dr. Aliyu Tilde on PremiumTimes: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/5195-buhari_vs_pdp_the_dog_and_the_baboon.html The third hallmark statement attributed to the General: did Buhari ever say that a war on Boko Haram was a war against the north? The answer to this statement as with the rest is a resounding, NO! Why are all these false statements attributed to Buhari? Well, for one reason the General is rather not that outspoken and is a man of extreme patience and tolerance who evidently only used legal means to redress the libel and false accusations against him planed and sponsored by the Presidency. So what did General Buhari say in 2013? He said, the institution of a State of Emergency in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states was a declaration of war on the north of Nigeria. He did not say that fighting Boko Haram was a declaration of war against the north; no, after all he fought and destroyed not only Maitatsine terrorists, but also the Habre fanatical forces of Chad. He clearly understands the need of a real war against terror; he however saw that Nigeria’s President and the then army Chief, General Azubuike Ihejirika who has been labeled a Boko Haram sponsor by my organization, ENDS and Boko Haram negotiator, Stephen Davis, were not fighting any real war against the terrorists but were silently facilitating the continued reign of terror and seeking all means to destroy the northeast as it is today. When Buhari wiped out Maitatsine in Adamawa state, he did not need to declare any phony state of emergency. He did not declare one either when he expelled the Habre Chadian forces from the 19 Nigerian occupied Islands in the northeast. Today the entire Nigeria saw the wisdom of elder statesman Buhari’s position against the declaration of the state of emergency and the senate thereby refused to extend the more harmful than good emergency rule that failed to yield meaningful results since it was instituted in May of 2013. I as a proponent of the State of Emergency in 2013 and one of those who canvassed and pushed for it did not quite agree with the General at the time but now I understand his reservations and how this declaration and all others by the President including his recent cessation of fire have all been declarations of war against the Nigerian people, particularly those being decimated and displaced in the northeast by French foreign forces being organized and directed from Idris Deby’s Chad. In conclusion, the Jonathan government who without any investigation exonerated MEND who had claimed responsibility for the October 1st 2010 Abuja bomb attack, since then decided to pick on General Muhammadu Buhari, his most formidable perceived opponent and in so doing allowed and as some say, actually supported Boko Haram’s continued existence and carnage while his evil genius press and media men and the Femi twins continued to spew slander upon slander and libel upon libel against the person of Buhari, spinning his every proverb out of context, publishing twisted versions of his every word and even reflecting other people’s statements upon him. Proverbs 19:9 says… who breathes out lies will perish. Indeed the liars shall perish. For “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” Romans 3:13 ESV. May God save Nigeria from ENEMIES WITHIN Buhari has requested his school to provide a copy of his statement of result, whoever is not satisfied with that can go to court just like one lawyer just did yesterday. what section of the constituion demanded for WASC certificate? assumption is no fact to score points. A concerned citizen , an Abuja-based lawyer, Mr. Chike Okafor is already in court, just watch and see as the drama unfolds. . http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/certificate-controversy-abuja-lawyer-drags-buhari-court/ At least, it will be to their advantage, if Buhari is disqualified. Remember that - The Highest Authority on this Certificate issue had spoken, and in favour of Buhari. I think the army should also be joined in this suit. - OBJ confirmed that, the military had Buhari certificates. ..“The issue (of Buhari’s certificate) came up in 2007, and we investigated and found out that his WASEC is with the military and that was why he was allowed to contest in 2007. And don't forget, that Obj was working for PDP and Yar adua to get elected in 2007. He was then, looking ways and means to disqualify Buhari. -On jan 4th, the Military said they had the certificate. What happened between then and now? The army officer Brigadier-Gen Olajide Olaleye, still owes the public one more explanation on this matter. He must explain to the public from where did the army get the copy with which they used to record 5 credit passes and a fail in Mathematics? Common sense - don't forget that in the 60s, there was nothing like photocopier. The military took the originals. - Perhaps later, Buhari made copies for himself. Someone removed the certificates from the records. That is the fact. - But lets wait and see as the north are already prepared to counter it. - let bear in minds that we are talking of events that took place 53 years ago, not a recent event. let the Court decide. It is wrong to start convicting Buhari without waiting for the court to pronounce him guilty. |
May God save Nigeria from ENEMIES WITHIN |
Kudos to our military men for their sacrifice. God is your protection. Amen. Book haram keeps wasting lives day by day even our gallant soldiers. Bt all dis govt do is to sentence our hero's to death for one stupid accusation called mutiny. This is just a section of the country- what if their actions are spreaded nationwide? Where do they get all this weapon....ummh, and jonathan says he doesn't know the sponsors of Boko Haram. Why is it that Jonathan failed to prosecute and severely sentence or punish the Boko haram Suspects and Sponsors. President Jonathan has intelligence report on the sponsors of Boko Haram activities for years now and his government refused to make arrest and charge people involved to court...what do you call this? "siddon dey look" President. may the best win for Nigeria without rigging. |
