Chibok girls are yet to be found, yet GEJ is using soldiers to harass innocent Nigerians. GEJ should send thesoldiers to Borno not Tinubu's House. Boko haram kidnapped 20 Nigerians and some 30 soldiers are parabulating around Tinubu's house. Unknown soldiers around the house of a top politician with a government that can not provide security cover for INEC?,I hope the international community is taking note of this reckless misuse of power by jonathan. GEJ is not the saint he is. Has all the recent happenings in this run up to elections not been enough to tell you he is not as democratic as he pretends to be? |
Jonathan have NO right to seek re-election. He did not inherit the remaining part of Yaradua's presidency. a president is able to take the oath of office only twice. No inheritance in government.. Jega pronounced him RE-ELECTED if you remember in 2011.If GEJ wanted two full terms he should have allowed the Senate president conduct a fresh election after Yaradua's death. He has already taken two Oaths There was no provision in our law for completing someone else's term of office (term is term and it is a joint ticket held by both the president and vice so it is not construed as different). it was two terms or two oaths period. Once you have sworn oaths twice that is it. As our constitution stand today no provision for anyone completing somebody's term as long as "swore oaths twice" remains there. may be he should not have sworn the Oath of Office the first time as himself. May be he should have shared the Presidential power with Mrs. Turai Yar'adua, As it is NOW, President Jonathan has already sworn the Oath of office as Nigerian President twice and he is essentially seeking a third Swearing-in and he wants to sit as Nigerian President for 10 years, where the Constitution said the MAXIMUM tenure of any one person, as President in Nigeria, including that one person called Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, shall not exceed eight years, of two terms of four years each. The Nigerian Constitution made provision for a condition under which a person may be on the seat as President, for longer than eight years in case of wars, such as a war making it impossible to conduct an election, but obviously no such person shall be required to take the Oath of office more than the maximum of two times. Jonathan cannot be swear in thrice. Jonathan have NO right to seek re-election. He has been sworn in twice to me is stronger than that he has been elected once which is his defense now. Lets look at this from another angle, if he had not contested in 2011, will he be referred to now as a 'former president' and be a member of the Council of State? If the answer is yes then GEJ to me has no case. |

I always advise parents to check that they've locked their bedroom door (and install a lock if one is missing), I also tell them not to be devastated by a surprise visit. Such an experience may be embarrassing, but the best approach is to remain calm and matter-of-fact. Parents can say, "We are having some private time together and we would like you to leave the room. Please be sure to close the door." Parents should also go to the child to ask what he saw -- or thought he saw -- and to invite questions or offer reassurance about what has happened. A 3-year-old might wonder if anyone was being hurt (based on the sounds and actions), so it's a good idea to reassure him. No parent should feel ashamed of sex. Parents carry around the thought that they shouldn’t be doing this. If you just disappear and say nothing, then sex becomes a secret, and children don’t like secrets. kids are not necessarily traumatized by witnessing their parents doing it. “They may be shocked, or they might even think you’re fighting. Kids can come to all sorts of conclusions.” There could be many different ways to explain it, depending on your child’s level of knowledge. my cousin's two kids were six and eight when they caught her and her husband doing the deed. Her husband’s panicked response? “Mommy and I are playing hide and seek!” “The funny thing is,” says my cousin, “the kids then jumped on the bed on top of us — they wanted to play, too!” She doesn’t think her children realized what was really going on. To prevent a repeat incident, her husband recently put locks on their bedroom door. |
GEJ and his statistics. 5400 jobs and 22,000 jobs? In 5 years? I thought he said he will create 2millions jobs in his next term. 22000 jobs by his administration annually multiply by 6 years in govt. Compare Nigeria unemployment ratio to your achievement in d last 6yrs, a country of 160m + and you see this as an achievement . Aregbesola directly employed 10,000 youth under OYes within 100 days in office. |
Another kasala! na only u waka come |
Chai! Chai! Chai! dis PVCs you are sharing uhm dia ris God ooooo Reading with mouth opened ..omo wala day for dis election. IF JONATHAN DOESN'T TAKE HIS TIME HE WILL BE USED AS A SACRIFICIAL LAMB TO CLEANSE NIGERIA HIM AND HIS GROUP OF DICTATORS SHOULD LIVE NIGERIA ALONE FOR GOOD O |
When you have a weak leadership, everybody does what they want. A lawless aimless clueless confused govt. It is left for Nigerians to decide if these rogues should continue in government. Jonathan created hatred for himself through his incompetent actions, sharing our commonwealth with few rogues and telling us that corruption is not stealing. If corruption is not stealing, what it is? Jonathan surrounded himself with criminals such as Buruji a drug dealer wanted in America. Fani-Kayode a brain damaged patient who has a corruption case pending in court. And Fayose a murderer who also recently slapped a judge in the court of law. If all these are not disgrace to the President of country, please tell me what it is. while FFK & Fayose's corruption and murder cases are still in court, Jonathan sees nothing in asking them to chair his campaign! O my God. |
well said |
Just tell us the tittle of your thesis and refer us to where we can find it. We don't even want you to publish the thesis now as we know that you're very busy doing nothing at the moment. we need to see his secondary school transcript, WASC result and Jamb result and know how he got admission into the university in the first place, then we can ask to see his transcript for BS, To be a PhD holder, you must have added something new to the academic world. I am also interested in knowing the title of our President's thesis, these documents are no secret in the Academic world, as it ought to have been published and used by other scholars as a reference. Which journal has published Jonathan's articles? I just watched Jonathan telling president OBAMA how he needs to fix Nigeria " what is his job as president of Nigeria" |
In politics -No permanent friend, no permanent enemy, but common interest. Every politician think alike, their personal interest is always a priority. If not position in a better place where their interest matters, they would deviate from the party course. |
Rexyl:Bros Nigeria as a secular nation is made up largely of highly developed and diversified religious groups. Apart from Christianity and Islam, which are the most widely practised, there are numerous local faiths grouped together as Traditional Religions or Traditional/Oriental and they do have their own festive period just like the Christians and Moslems. Religious Groups such as - Orunmilia - Secret Societies (Egungun Group) - Eckankar Group - The Hare Krisha Movement, and Bahai Movements - Brotherhood of the Cross and Star or Olumba Olumba Obu Movement - others For equity and fair play, it is right to consider other religion when sponsoring pilgrimage. Otherwise it shouldn't be done at all. the issue of a person's faith or religion is personal and should not have anything to do with government. |
Please stop inciting religious acrimony and spreading hatred among the people. Is the sponsoring of pilgrims be it christians or muslims a constitutional obligation? What has sponsoring a religious pilgrims got to do with improving the economy. The President is campaigning for the use of tax payers money to fund overseas travels of some people on purely private religious trips. The legislature should now enact laws that prohibit governments from spending public money on any form of religious matters, there are churches and mosques all over the place in Abuja, including Aso Rock. Christians can be sponsored on holy pilgrimages by the jet-flying bishops and pastors from part of their billion naira investments. Muslims can seek private support from OIC or anywhere else but not from public money. Our faith is personal,to go on pilgrimage ,a journey to know more of God should be a sacrifice on your account. Those who have been going how had it affected their lives and what impact has it had on our nation? Muslim quran says you can go to mecca if you have financial capacity not with public money while no verses in bible mention visiting of jerusalem. You went to Israel on Christian pilgrimage only to come back and say stealing is not corruption. you try. |
Another PDP-orchestrated conspiracies. LIES ! LIES ! LIES ! Buhariphobia will kill some people. Lots of unrest cells in their nervous system. |
" returning President Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP to office would be “a disaster waiting to be unleashed on Nigerians.” http://www.punchng.com/news/re-electing-jonathanll-be-a-national-disaster/ I bet that some critics can't stand GMB intellectually. This is a man who has studied in the US, UK etc and passed his exams. Have they ever written any exam outside the shores of Nigeria? The ones they wrote in Nigeria I believe were arranged with expo! This date of election had been fixed since last year and not all our military personnel are in the NE fighting so that excuse to me isn't tenable and just shows why we are still where we are in this Nation. We will see who BH is working for when violence cease within 6wks! We will know who has the remote control of BH for profiteering! God deliver us. |

a lot of people already know Femi mimiko, former VC of the state university is replacing jega. He is a blood brother to the incumbent governor of Ondo state who they will use to complete the proposed rigging plan if election ever come up. |
Wake up friends. If you had listened to the Fayose rigging plans audio maybe you would have had a little glimpse of the fact that the postponement is a tactic to finalize the rigging plans. Rem, Okupe brags around that GMB will never be the president of Nigeria. That GEJ would rather hand over to a Military junta. GEJ,pls remember Gbagbo of Ivory Coast...Those sycophants urging you on are ONLY after their SELFISH INTERESTS...It is not as if they love u BUT they are out 2 lead you to the hangman. Can't u see that you are the ONLY ONE running from church 2 church, pole 2 pole in name of RE-ELECTION..If GOD SAY YES,NO MAN CAN SAY NO |
1st , DSS said that APC want to hack inec documents and inec said that it was not possible unless it is an insider job, then National Security Adviser said in London that failure to distribute PVC, but inec said No , National passed a law to use temporary and permanent card further more, now it is inability of the Military to protect life, property and electoral materials...it is now security concerns in the NE, despite that NW,SW,SS,SE are safe. The bogus excuse that postponement is for security reason does not hold ground it is a ploy to mis-use and exploit the security situation in the country for the advantage of PDP, themselves and the looter in Chiefs. This same NSAs security advice that was not serious enough to stop the President and his party from campaigning with thousands of supporters at hot spots, has suddenly become serious, and is cited as reasons why elections should not hold. Jega had no option, if he refused, they will not partake, or they minimally partake in the election security, they will engineer few deaths in relation to the election violence and then they will hold Jega responsible for holding election contrary to security reports, he will then be charged with multiple manslaughter or corporate manslaughter or its equivalentt in Nigeria and will be removed and jailed PDP have access to the treasury so they can finance election campaign for another 6weeks, APC on the other hand dont have such resources. PDP is a fraud. I feel they the military is planning to rule over Nigeria very soon. Please Nigerians watch it. |
Nigeria need deliverance from corruption, incompetent leadership, thoughtless religious bigotry and extremism , decayed infrastructures, compromised institutions such as the army, CAN, and now INEC, inept leadership that cannot guarantee the sanctity of elections |
This is nothing but a “tactical Coup”. Can they guarantee us security in May 29, observed as democracy day in Nigeria, is the governorship and presidential handing over date. The insidious unsolicited advice to INEC from Dasuki and his service chiefs is treasonous as they have been giving variously incogent reasons for their act. “by causing the election to be postponed, the NSA and the security chiefs have staged a coup against the Constitution. They are liable to be prosecuted for the grave offence of treason at the appropriate time.” “In a desperate bid to blackmail the INEC to postpone the election the NSA wrote a letter to the INEC to the effect that the armed forces could not provide security for the election because of the operations in the north east region. “By writing directly to the INEC on the security situation in the north east region the NSA usurped the functions of the National Security Council.” Read Election Postponement: NSA, DSS and military chiefs commit treason, coup plotting – Falana http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/176468-nigeria-2015-nsa-dasuki-military-chiefs-commit-treason-coup-plotting-falana.html |

They can guarantee security when they go campaigning about in Kano, Maiduguri ... The postponement, under normal circumstances, does not bode well for the integrity of Nigeria's election, so it might be a good idea for PDP to stay low key on the matter, to avoid giving the impression the postponement was at PDP behest. Their loud, cheer-leading voice might imply they instigated the postponement, and that they are remotely controlling a supposedly independent institution. I listened to the conversations, how Jonathan compromised our security men, a bloody civilian goofed on a brigadier general. How koro is promising soldiers commander of promotion, how they were sent from president to deliver ekiti. Where are we heading to in this nation. I read obanikoro disclaimer on facebook two days ago and he didn't say he wasn't at the meeting he said the tapes were altered , also i listened to him yesterday on a radio program and he say he just heard the tape , so my conclusion, obanikoro contradicted himself yesterday my saying he just heard the tapes on Sunday but issued a statement on Friday regarding the tape, it shows he wasn't truthful , they were there. |
so it either Boko haram end now or no election indefinitely and PDP hand over to military on 29th May. "President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday assured all stakeholders that the May 29 handover date remained sacrosanct" http://www.punchng.com/news/may-29-handover-date-sacrosanct-says-jonathan/ |
The postponement is a fraud. The election has already lost credibility The recent postponement of this election is nothing but a great victory for Boko Haram in its campaign against the masses, after years of fake containment presenting to us by GEJ and his corrupt lead Government. Come to think of it,even countries where there are serious conflict, election were still conducted without any form of postponement whatsoever. THERE WERE ELECTIONS IN AFGHANISTAN DURING THE WAR, SYRIA, IN IRAQ DURING THE WAR. WHY CANT NIGERIA HAVE ELECTIONS BECAUSE OF AN INSURGENCY IN A SECTION OF THE COUNTRY? |
The preparations for this year elections began after the general elections in 2011. Are we saying 4years is not enough for FG to fix the security challenge in the country? PDP want BH to continue that is why the FG failed to do the needed...this is a rescue mission for PDP. It's a matter of time before Boko Haram is wiped off the face of the earth. If 4 yrs is not enough to prepare for election how can 6 weeks be enough. Registered voters is around 70m, INEC tried to give 45M. Last election was conducted with 35m voters. so it either Boko haram end now or no election indefinitely. Is this the reason why they want to postpone coming election? do you think this menace would be fixed in just 6weeks? BIG LIE. The problem in that region has not just started, what solution has been proffered by them? Now election is around, and seeing the willingness of the people to vote them out of power, they are using a situation they deliberately allowed to deteriorate as an excuse. Jega finally compromised. The concern is what magic will make the election safe in 6 weeks time? With dwindling oil revenues and the Billions of Dollars already spent on the elections so far, is this Government sensitive to curbing wastages in needless expenditure at all? Now we know, that after the postponement and possible edging of JEGA from office before the election and PDP eventually wins |

INEC weighs six-week election delay http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/inec-weighs-six-week-election-delay/ PDP is only trying to use INEC to postpone the unavoidable disaster day. We can see that this delay is nothing but PDP tricks. As the security expert tells us, using BH as an excuse for postponement makes no sense. What they could not achieve in 6years, they want to do in 6weeks. "Dasuki had told INEC that operations against Boko Haram militants meant the military will be unable to provide adequate security for the February 14 vote." So it is not really about enabling all voters to collect their PVC. What gives the President the impression that the Military would have finished with Boko Haram before the postponed date? Did the Boko Haram battle start only yesterday or few weeks ago? |
