gidieberry:Happy Born Day bro. Wish you many more years on planet 3... |
IdeeEsperanza:A lover of STELLIO player bro. I just don't like the way they keep having issues with playstore. To update to this, one had to download it separately from playstore or their site. |
killercute16:Bro, the fact that some people had to go through all this battery optimizing ish doesn't mean you'll experience it too. When I bought mine, the update popped up immediately I connected to WiFi. Before I downloaded the update, I already went through the #jboixxx compilation thread#. I disabled everything that drains battery according to the write-up. Without updating/downloading any app and without signing in my Google account, I downloaded the MIUI update. When the whole process was completed, I reaffirmed that all the #jboixxx compilation thread- "Stop Battery Drain" ideas still remain as I'd previously left them before the update. Then I switched the phone off, insert my simcards and charged it up to 100%. Much later, I signed in my Gmail account and other exploring continued......... I didn't experience anything! |
daddio:Where? And is it Redmi 8 you got or Redmi 8A. Pls always confirm before you post anything. |
peteregwu:How fr, any challenge? |
peteregwu: Just explore the app. You'll get it. |
awoo47:The question is does the Infinix phone have an IR Blaster? |
adamix:Same to you. |
Kelvo002:Check my post above. |
peteregwu:Download from playstore.
|
joshjc:No p bro. How's your experience so far with the phone @Note 8. |
joshjc:Its different o. Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8, Redmi 8a. What we are on about is the Redmi 8, not Note 8. |
joshjc:Sorry, do you use a Redmi 8? |
koolengrtimmy:Lol. When you go up the ladder, there is a wide difference between them all but the basics still remains the same no matter the industry. For example, Nebosh covers all aspects being the basics of Occupational Health Certifications. Futhermore, you mentioned construction hse, because of our CIVIL ENGINEERING background but you forgot that we are well grounded in ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING as well, infact my 2nd degree is in Environmental and Public Health Engineering. Hence, it cuts across a lot of departments even in Manufacturing! We do alot of construction and maintenance activities too. For ISO certifications, from my knowledge of it, Yes ISO Certifications are very useful too. There are those that directly apply to Occupational Health, Quality, Environment etc. Talk of Occupational Health & Safety for instance we have ISO 45001:2018 for instance. You can read things up sir. Google can help. |
Destol090:Confirm. The guy sure pass sure sef ![]() |
cybug:There are exceptions to the above statement. I tailored my answers to the person I answered. And Yes a non-science person can dabble into it as well. It's all about interest and dedication. Only that a person who understands basic science will be fast at grabbing some concepts a bit more quickly. |
jboixxx:I'll sure hit you up bro when I'm ready. |
genius43:Baba it does o. See under the same circumstances then with the Glo network I had 16% left of my battery at 8hrs plus SOT. With the MTN I had 36% left with same 8hrs SOT Check out the old GLO screenshot. I JUST DECIDED TO EXPERIMENT.
|
jboixxx:I changed to MTN and the battery performance improved compared to when I was using Glo.
|
okikiosibodu:Excellent bro. I'll get a Type C otg soonest too. |
jboixxx:Good morning to all. I want to share one of my best features on a phone, I still use it on my Huawei and I'm glad Xiaomi has it too. I noticed the Triple Gs (GrandMufti, Genius43, Gptech), Big J (Jboixxx), Madam Fibonacci and others hardly mention it. For those complaining about battery and data zapping. There is this feature that turns data off when you leave your phone idle for over, say 10minutes. I like the feature. That way, when you're busy, it cuts the data connection. But if a call or SMS comes in, all your WhatsApp messages, Emails and all will troop in. It saves data and battery alot. Even if your auto sync is active, after 10minutes of being on standby, your phone will automatically kill the mobile data connection. Hence, I don't need to manually turn the data off. I hope this helps someone.

gidieberry:Yes bro. I've learnt the hard way. My previous Huawei, I was fond of leaving the follow come charger always plugged in without switching off the source. I just came back home from class one day and I found an odorous liquid coming out of the charger. It got spoilt just like that! |
gidieberry:Gidi dem dey try tell you say na God hand all Redmi Note 8 users gather dey o. By the way, thanks for the 18w charger. The speed with which my phone gets to 100% is crazy. |
vincentont:Heavy user? 1.5gig in 10days , Are you joking or what? |
