Somebody help!
I want to buy phone for my spouse. She's not a phone freak- just Facebook n WhatsApp, snap pictures with her kids, battery that can last for months without discharging, then a phone that can last till 2025.
Budget is tight. So far, I have brought down my options to Redmi 8 (3/32) and Nokia 4.2.
Can anyone help me pick one that fits into the discription above or a better alternative?

Last till 2025, make it R8 (4/64) just about 3 or 4k more expensive than the (3/32) variant.

pjewelSilva:
Pls I just learnt that the redmi note 8 doesn't come with an earpiece. Apart from the airdots, what else can I use? because I plan on purchasing the phone tomorrow.
Is the camera okay too?

Lol , I attended a party yesterday. At first everyone was taking shots. I was calmly using my GCam too. Later, a lady friend was like, let me even see the shots you've taken! Bro, na there e end o. I became d photographer of the party instantly . The lady uses Sammy A50. She said Sammy is only selling their established name. I didn't comment a word. So, you won't regret it!

Lexusgs430:
Why only a lady? You want feminine blessings.......

lol, no bro. There is this pouch I ordered for a friend. It came after 6months. It's best for a female, that's why I'm asking.

CornOak:
My backlight was higher than yours.

Lol.... I didn't charge it full at some point. Tiger got it right.

Tiger2020:
it might be because you haven't charged your phone fully for a while

Correct

CornOak:

Cool but consider this below.. You had just 9% battery left @ 11hrs SOT. Mine, 9hrs + SOT @ 55%... Funny isn't it

Any Redmi note 7 user in Ibadan?? Preferably a lady!..

If spambot ban me ehn.

PotatoSalad:
It was a mistake which i admitted already. Despite that, I expected a healthy discussion, but people thought otherwise. The basis of the whole thing is that Mi 10 is a dope phone but people here would rather buy it than spend extra on the s20 ultra.

In other words, na price wey cause the wahala.
Give the same people both phones to choose one for free and you already know which one they'll go for.

Lol... I will choose the S20 ultra. . sell it and probably buy mi10 na and spend my change on something else. It's simply logic na..

Tiger2020:
Since I changed my line from airtel to mtn,my battery life has improved

Did same few weeks ago, and I got same result. Airtel is crazy now even for calls in my area.

chidiadi247:
How can I get an entry level Safety officer job?

God and networking! You have to find a way to dip yourself into the field. Let me tell you how I achieved mine with God's grace! I'm not there yet but I'm confident I'm on the right path towards what I've always wanted.

Now on to what I did....
I got interested in the field during my mini contract as an Instrument Technician @NLNG Bonny Island immediately after my NYSC. After the contract, I returned to Ib for my MSC in Environmental and Public Health. I headed straight to ISPON after my project defence. I registered as a member at ISPON.

Joined a lot of safety groups on WhatsApp, I made LinkedIn.com my second home; and I made sure I visited ISPON secretariat at least once a week to make sure they don't forget me. While I wait, I mastered my Structural design and detailing which did fetch me a lot of cash as I draw for people; I am a Civil Engineer by the way, but I really do like *HSE*. I told my self construction safety is your final bus-stop.

Eventually, I got an entry-level job with NBC by God's grace through ISPON President Oyo state branch. What I'm really happy about is that, my Safety Manager is very good. He enjoys teaching and will cover you if you want to go for any training or certification.
So, God help you bro. I wish you all the best. Just don't give up.

This Audio clown and his media dunce are turning mad.... PDP are not ready for governance

how is presenting a picture of a leopard something of media relivance, Tegbe or Lanleyin would have done much than this camera Governor

cant he commision something even if its wheel barrow, shovels and head pan like his mates in Enugu? all Ajimobi's roads are abandoned , filth everywhere

.

Sorry are you a civil servant?... Have you wondered why all civil servants aren't even making any noise. The whole state is just silent... What people don't understand is that, so long civil servants are being paid as at when due, public school students are also good and other state higher institutions too. You will not hear pim..... Lol

Jecyangel:
My fellow Rn5 gang Abeg someone should suggest for me a good phone case i will use for this phone. I have changed the screen twice and about changing the third one.. Any small fall screen don scatter. Bikonu i need to protect the phone cos my vision to change the phone has changed from 2020 to 2021 or probably 2022

Hmmm, A full body leather case will do. Funny how I've never repaired a screen before.
