Greenishland , awoof dey purge belle. Pay the right money and get good service. I don't trust most promos. See as he was abusing you because you paid 2k. And at the end, you still didn't get the quality of what you wanted instead it's death threats and insult you get. Sorry. Pls use professionals next time or at least stay way from nonsense promos like this. Most times, they don't deliver good stuff because they feel the money isn't worth it. They do it to attract the masses and get crowd money.

I would like opinions and experiences on this.
Did you save for your first car? Was it feasible. Did you spend the money before you could buy the car? If you succeeded, what did you gain?

Did you take a loan? Was it easy paying back? What did you gain?
Thanks.

Health / Re: How Do I Increase In Weight? by midastouch040(f): 7:10am On Nov 26, 2018
Inioluwa01:

Thank you. To start with, my own issue is that I can't just eat much, no matter how hard I try, and I don't feel hungry/like eating again for long hours after that little I consume at a given time. My folks are almost tired of me, because I hardly finish whatever size of food is served me. I have tried several multivitamins to no avail. I don't feel hungry till around 2pm and even then, it's only a little I eat. My heaviest meal of the day is often dinner but even that can only be compared to that of a 15 year old. I'll be 30 next year and hope to put on some healthy weight. I'm just tired lol
I totally understand because I have been there. The only thing that helped me beat this adverse feeling for food was determination to change. I needed weight and I knew food was the ONLY way. So I determined to succeed! When you are ready to change, nobody will tell you. It will come from you. You will start eating all by yourself. Lol.

Once you start eating and start seeing results, your motivation will increase. Your stomach organ size will increase to accommodate your new food habit. It has shrunk in size over the years because of limited food intake. As you begin eating well daily, you will get hungry quicker and earlier. Your entire body will start getting used to this new trend.

Another tip is to start your daily eating early like 7/8am. This way you can eat throughout the day because you are able to space your meals better. 7/8am -11am- 2/3pm -6/7pm =4 meals.
4 large portion meals oo for faster results.

Note- don't stop this new habit anytime soon. You need to continue to retain the new weight. Probably till after a few years when you reach an equilibrium. If you stop soon, you may start losing the weight.

Food increase = weight gain
Food reduction = weight loss.

This is tried and tested. It worked for me.

You don't need supplements or any stuff but food. Lots of food 4 or more times daily.
Let half or more of your daily intake be white carbohydrates like rice, swallows -semo, pounded yam, eba, ground rice etc, bread, yam, potatoes etc. Heavy foods are perfect for weight gain.

Reduce daily stress. Walk and exercise less. Except little strength training for muscles if you wish.

Sleep often and early like 9/10pm daily.

If you do the above consistently for one week, you will start seeing a positive difference.

Joyfulgal , you really have to be careful. As you live alone, you can't afford to totally depend on a stranger. Even when you get a new helper/maid...,be vigilant. You can stay in the kitchen with her to ensure your meals are cooked in a hygienic manner. As a pregnant woman, you can't afford to fall sick with typhoid or cholera o.
If possible sef, let the helper help prepare the ingredients while you mix /cook your food. Life is delicate. Be prayerful too when keeping strangers as live in helpers/maids/nannies. Relatives can hurt not to talk of total strangers.
Though from my experience, a relative like your sister or aunty is safer especially for those who live alone. God be with you. I hope you get better.

Well I told him this night and he said I should go for a scan by Tuesday to know how far gone I am. He doesn't sound happy. He asked if I want to keep it I said no so he just concluded I do a scan first and if it's still very early I take medication instead of a D and C so I won't have complications. So that's it.
Are you not in final year? Some of your mates are married with one or two kids. It's your choice though but you can tell your Mum, Sister, best friend or someone with your best interest at heart first to know their own opinion.
Your less than one year boyfriend wouldn't have your best interest at heart when push comes to shove.
Think well. It's not about now. It's about the future.
It's still your choice though cos pregnancy and caring for kids isn't child's play.
If you choose to abort, stay safe. Use the best. Don't joke with your life or future fertility. Your boyfriend may have moved on by then.

Keep the pregnancy but let him choose to marry you. Let him be the one to bring up marriage if he wants.
So that in future, he won't say you forced him to marry you because of pregnancy. This way you can always keep your head up proudly.
Cheers and congrats.

if my husband is a mommy's boy then both of us become his moms best friend. When I shower his mom with so much love then we will know who she will love most. I will not even blame him self, his mom must have made sacrifices to make his life better and I don't intend to take that love away. heheheeee! we die there.
Hahahaha @the bolded. cheesy
I hope you don't feel his mother will love you the most. No matter what you do, most mothers will still love her child above you even if he is wayward or doesn't give her enough attention. This doesn't mean you shouldn't shower her with love o. Love her well because she is your spouse's mother and your spouse will love you more for it.

@topic, most of we women usually put kids above our spouses. For me, I feel we ought to love our spouses as much as we love our kids especially if they are good spouses.
These children will grow and leave to establish their own homes. Will you follow them to live in their homes or keep them chained to you because you love them?
If we had sacrificed our homes/spouses because we wanted to love them more than their fathers/mothers..., who will give us love, affection, care ,warmth, time, sex when the kids leave home and get their own partners?

Like it or not, we would be relegated to the background.
They will call/receive your calls, send money, host you for as long as you wish but na visitor you go be for their house. So... Let's value our life partners too (if they are worth it).
Some adult kids do not have the time or patience to care for their old frail sick parents. In most cases, it's still the now old wife /husband who will take up that responsibility. Examples are everywhere.

Housemaid Kicks Out Her Madam, After Becoming 3 Months Pregnant For Her Husband

Abuja, Nigeria News 22nd September, 2018:
A Gudu Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, on Thursday dissolved the 2-year-old marriage between Doyinsola Adebiyi and Adebiyi Kayode, because of the latter’s extra marital affairs with their maid.

Doyinsola, a resident of Federal Housing Lugbe, Abuja, prayed the court to dissolve her 2-year-old marriage because of her husband’s extramarital affair with their maid.

The 26-year-old housewife told the court that the maid confessed to aborting two pregnancies for Kayode and that “she is currently three months pregnant for my husband.”

Doyinsola said that on hearing about the extra marital affairs, she became agitated and left her matrimonial home in Lagos State for Abuja.

“Two months after I left the house, my husband married a 20-year-old woman and never bothered to look for me,” she said.

Kayode, 51, residing in Adegbe, Lagos, who never appeared in court, wrote a letter to the court through his lawyer, authorising the court to grant his wife’s request.

He added that since she abandoned her matrimonial home, the court should dissolve the marriage.

The judge, Mr Abdul Bello, consequently dissolved the marriage. (NAN).

Imagine the rubbish. The crowd would have just told her point blank that they will stay somewhere and wait for her. That if that child dies, they will deal with her and that car. angry wink
Maybe it's her husband's wrath she's afraid of because I don't understand this placing a car above a trapped child. All shades of wrong though.

Family / Mother Refuses To Break Car Window To Save Her Trapped Child by midastouch040(f): 7:15am On Sep 22, 2018
A yet to be identified Nigerian lady who accidentally locked her child in the car and forgot the key, has refused bystanders to break her glass to rescue the child.

According to facebook user identified as OG david, the woman did’nt consent to breaking her car window, rather she pleaded with the crowd to find another means to gain entry into the car to rescue the trapped child.

'Aunty susu pls post. On my way back from saloon yesterday at Benin city, agip @6:03pm. We saw a crowd. We decided to park and check what’s going on. A lady locked her child in the car and forgot the key inside. The child was crying and sweating. I stood for over 15minutes watching the scene o.

People were busy shouting “madam make we break d glass”
I was shocked that the woman didn’t agree, She was pleading for them to find a means of opening the car with a child sweating and and crying bitterly.
What’s the world turning into oo please. People now value property more than life. God please blow trumpet!, he wrote.

It is obvious that this person is either Dr wale himself or his wife or his relative or a marketer under his employment.

Madam, you are not advertising your Dr wale well. You are making people suspicious because of how forceful and antagonistic you are. Your dr Wale is into herbal medicine. Nothing wrong with it. Good herbs are potent and has less side effects.

Go and learn how to do your marketing properly... Whoever you are. Don't spam threads. Once in a while adverts here is OK. Don't insult people here. It's not by force to patronize any doc. It's actually God that gives children. Docs only try their best.

This is a warning in advance so that you won't be disgraced by the CIAs here. There are people that will come and start investigating you if they see your own is getting too much. When they are done with you, you may not like yourself. Go with your dignity intact now!

Forget pics. Anybody can get pics from anywhere. I am not even moved. This your aggressiveness is suspicious. It's like you have a high stake in dr Wale's business. Perhaps as his wife? If you be only marketer, abeg take am easy no go wound o.

Family / Re: Is It A Good Idea If I Build A House Close To My Wife's Family House? by midastouch040(f): 6:48pm On Aug 25, 2018
Not advisable.
Same advice applies if the site was near your own family house. Except the pros outweigh the cons.
As fences make good neighbours, I also believe a little distance keeps good family /inlaw relationships.

My husband is never around when she starts her insults. She is smart and she will our a big show for him to believe her.
Then you too be smart. Stoop to conquer. Try your best to be a good daughter in-law to her when hubby is not there and more especially when he is around. Reduce your nagging to him about his mum. No matter what you complain about , she will still remain his mum...she ain't going out of his life...so it's best to complain less and with wisdom.
Even if it's you, you won't like your hubby to disrespect or treat your own mum badly (I am not saying you're doing this o). That's the same reaction he is exhibiting. We can badmouth our blood/parents but won't tolerate the same from another person.
Point is start being smart. Her stay is temporary. Lucky you. grin wink

Pls don't starve your baby. If breastmilk isn't coming out for now, start with formula and switch to breastmilk later. Babies are different. One baby can stay for days without eating while another may not be able to handle it. Pls..
One oyibo woman didn't know her breastmilk wasn't coming out well. She wasn't aware baby was starving. The baby's brain got damaged but he lived. Though with health issues. Not your portion.

Religious organizations are to blame too because they applaud louder when a woman gives testimony and says she rejected CS and laboured for days and finally gave birth naturally.

Even if she eventually had CS or planned for a CS originally, she may not mention it. Religious houses and families should stop stigmatising CS so more women can live. Though it still boils down to ignorance and lack of finances sometimes.
