Forum Games / Re: Worst Grammatical Errors, Got Any? by mide2(f): 9:43pm On Dec 07, 2006
I think the person that has made the most grammatical blunders is the one and only ALI G a.ka. Borat
e.g Is it because i is black ?
He's da bomb ! and i'm loving him.

Why must we speak english at all, not to talk of speaking it correctly

Family / Re: My Strict Father by mide2(f): 5:44pm On Dec 05, 2006
Both my father and mother are strict when it comes to boyfriend isuue, i was really really scared of them on that issue. I dare not invite any guy home, a guy that tried it was embarrased beyond words.

But when i met my man and we had decided we wanted to be together, i was scared of telling my folks too, but i just summoned the needed courage and told mom first told her not to tell dad yet then later told dad.
They didnt take me serious, but i told them i was serious about him and have decided i want to spend the rest of my life with him.
Told mom one day that my friend was coming to say hi to them, couldnt face dad but mom helped out there to my surprise.

It was a whole lot of questioning and stuffs but afterwards dad came to the kitchen to tell me to prepare my boyfriend smthg to eat and made him feel at home.

My bruv called me and said, i think dad's fallen into your friend's trap because i heard him telling his friends on phone that his daughter brought home her future husband, i couldnt help dropping some tears, because i was really scared of it all but to my surprise they told me they loved him as a son already.

Am23 years old as well.
So debbie, you'll just be fine, you'll be surprised your dad would show a different reaction. he'll be happy because you are happy.
Romance / Re: Do Long Distance Relationships Work? by mide2(f): 5:05pm On Dec 05, 2006
LDr is the hardest thing. Its no fun at all. Its not the best except whr u can't help it. I'm in one and the distance is driving me nuts, it makes us quarrel like cat and dog but when we are together, we are the model couple. I'll not advise anyone that isnt in one to go into it if you can help it. Mine is working alright but its hardwork. speeding up plans to be together soon. Cant take it no more.

Travel / Re: UK Or US: Your Preference And Why? by mide2(f): 1:39am On Oct 03, 2006
i'm not head over heels in love with either, might prefer america though.

And for those mentioning free healthcare as an advantage here in the U.K are really being deceived. Agreed, its free but its bulls**t ! I work in the health sector in the u.k and from all i hv seen, its rubbish ! Imagine a lady with fibroid being told she's bloody 7months pregnant. How on fucking earth can they manage a tumour till its tht big, believing its a freaking baby inside ! if i continue to count on my fingertips the amount of errors n mistakes i've seen with my naked eyes in the hospitals here, you'll be shocked.

Talk about healthcare then talk about Germany, France e.t.c

And b4 u forget we pay NI which accounts for the so called free healthcare services.
Career / Re: Do You Like Nurses/Nursing? by mide2(f): 1:24am On Jul 28, 2006
I don't think its fair judgement on your part to generalise your conclusion about Nigerian nurses through your one encounter with your nurse girlfriend. I trained to become a nurse in Nigeria and i can confidently say there are a thousand and one beautiful young nurses who are all a man would want in a wife. Faithful, caring, and well mannered.
The myth about nurses been promisquous has long been flawed. Profession doesn't make your character, your character is who you are not what you are. (your profession)

Romance / Re: Is This How To Ask A Girl Out? by mide2(f): 11:34pm On Jul 10, 2006
Some gurls like the rehearsal approach, while some want it natural/instinctive. Some want it from friendship, and some want it from an argument or a slight quarrel(so to speak).
I think it all depends on the guy and the lady, and at the end of the day that is where the compatiblity begins.

I like mine to start from friendship.

Nigeria will win the cup !
Nigeria might however hand it over to France for a job well done, they deserve the cup.
Sports / Re: England(1) Vs Portugal(3), Germany 2006: World Cup by mide2(f): 11:12pm On Jul 05, 2006
When will luck ever smile on the English team ? Maybe when the eyes are on the legs.
The point is they should just stop the noise and play the game, they messed up with the penalties which isn't unusal anyway. They've got really good players but they never make it.
Even the none English speaking countries know that England makes such irritating noise over nutting. ''There is always no cause for control everything is under alarm''
Sports / Re: France Vs Portugal : World Cup 2006 Semi-finals by mide2(f): 10:26pm On Jul 05, 2006

Phones / Re: Your Phone: An Asset Or A Nuisance? by mide2(f): 2:35am On Jul 04, 2006
My phone is a valued asset to me but more than a nuisance to my family because it never stops ringing. My Bf and i keep flashing one another if possible every minute of the day, including several calls just to say I LOVE YOU. My mom has stoped raking about it, i guess she's used to the sound now.
