Family / Re: Housewife or Working Woman? by mide2(f): 12:29am On Jan 03, 2006
It's my choice cuz it's ma life. And i'll like to live it just the way i like that pleases God and satisfies me. Anyone that wants to be an housewife can go ahead and be, but for me, i'm certainly not gonna be one. Can never feel fulfiled being one. For chrissakes, i got a whole lotta goals and ambitions. My dreams and aspirations go to cleaning houses and cooking and probably making babies ? Sure not.....but for those who's dream it is can as well enjoy themselves as housewifes.

Family / Re: Domesticating Nigerian Men by mide2(f): 8:39pm On Jan 01, 2006
What of if we are living somewhere like in the U.K, where it's pretty expensive employing people to do house jobs for u. You've got to pay them the minimum wage per hour.

Well when I said that the man has the resposibility to manage the family, I did not means the man should be issueing out instructions without the agreement of both parties, that the man and the wife. the man always has the last say in any matter in the house, he will listen to every one idea before giving out the last order. No wife or woman with respect can issue instructions to the husband and believe me if any which means there is problem somewhere in that house.
I tot we were talking about a family here and not a camp of soilders.....haba...whats with the instruction stuff. No one gives instruction, rather we all, including the kids give opinion and delibrate and the parents now agree on the issue. Giving instructions sounds more like a boss to her secretary or smthg like tha.
Family / Re: Domesticating Nigerian Men by mide2(f): 7:17pm On Jan 01, 2006
It's a pity i can't get to insert IAH's post on this topic...thats eaxatly my stand. I have no problem doing the house chores and stuffs ( i get to do almost all now cuz i'm the only girl and don't like mom stressing out) but as they know me for our house here, if i arrange and you disarrange, or i'm out of town and get back home to meet sh*t, hmmmm serious katakata go emerge ooo. If my hussy can't do it he'd better pay some pple to help him out before i come.
Family / Re: Husband and Wife in the same Profession? by mide2(f): 6:48pm On Jan 01, 2006
For one, i don't buy the idea. I have always said it, i can't marry anybody in the same profession with me. Not even a similar profession. (e.g. medical professioners) We would just drive ourselves and others crazy with jagons. I rem my school days in the hostel, we talked about almost nothing else than medical jagons. Even if we talked about something else we would get a way of boiling it down it to something we've just learnt or seen in the hospital.

I'll like someone totally different.
Family / Re: Should A Husband And Wife Operate A Joint Account? by mide2(f): 6:32pm On Jan 01, 2006
Joint account is okay when you have separate ones aside too. But having all your earnings go to just one account which happens to be joint is not the best. (me tink o). Money they say spoils friends faces o.

Again, i personally love giving surprises, and i think solely joint account will spoil that especially when it's a bit or even really expensive surprises for him.
Family / Re: What's your Ideal Family Size? by mide2(f): 5:50pm On Jan 01, 2006
Being the only girl in a family of 3 children, i don't wish to have any sex as an only one.Cuz i sometimes wish i had a sis i could share my room with.I hated sleeping alone when i was a kid. I'll like both sexes in equal ratio....but max of 4.....so 2 boys, 2 girls in whatever sequence...but the age gap might be abit higher than we usually have these days.
Romance / Re: Men: Simple Approachable Lady or a Hard-to-Get? by mide2(f): 4:38am On Jan 01, 2006
ProfBills:

Not being Specific or explicit in this matter may keep us out of track, and unfocused. A girl may decide to play the hard way, because she wants to keep her dignity. I for one, will not be too happy to accept a girl who will just say "YES" to my proposal, without giving a second thought. You must always understand that what is got cheaply will be taken away cheaply. If you strain to get a girl, u may be a bit confident that any other boy will strain to get her, keeping u on the safe side. If u are the sensitive type, even when a girl plays hard, u'll understand if she is for u or not. The only aspect I'll have to castigate squarely, is turning u down in Pride. Afterall, sometimes u are turned down because of the way u started the show yourself

I beg to disagree a lil with your opinion. because it's as easy as ABCD to pretend. I may play hard to get and at the end of the day, the juice aint worth the squezze. Cuz a gurl plays hard to get or says yes almost immediately or even was the one to ask you out doesn't in anyway give out what's in the real her.

I think the hard to get thing just get the whole stuff confused, guys wouldn't know if it's a definite no or just a hard to get stunt.

I for one hate guys that wouldn't take a no for an answer, i must confess they piss the hell off me. I feel like asking them what part of the NO they don't seem to understand, the N or the O ? They just get on your nerves disturbing you are such inappropriate times.

I feel making yourself valuable now comes in when the r/ship is on......it's then i believe in ''making him work for it''.

Nairaland / General / Re: 2 Million Naira for 3 Months Without Bathing or Brushing? by mide2(f): 3:42am On Jan 01, 2006
I could have said yes but i guess a whole lot of the money will go to the dentist as i easily get tooth ache, even using a toothbrush for more than 2months causes big wahala for my teeth. I must wash it after eating anything really sweet or else everyone go pity me the next few days.
Family / Re: A Guy Dating Me And My Sister by mide2(f): 3:08am On Jan 01, 2006
Right, your sis overeacted but don't blame her, it really must have been a shock for her as well as for you. You should both sit down and talk things over. The guy isn't worth the fight. Plan to Deal with him together, if that will make you girls happy. Seeing you girls happy togther will definitely be the best way to show him he aint worth anything. Sis, blood is thicker than water or even the so called love.
