Good one, the whole world will be paperless in no distant future. |
This is different from blabluu bulaba. The elections have come and gone. To some of us, we are jubilant because our desired candidates won the elections To some we are not happy even discouraged that the subsequent elections were sparingly attended. All the same, someone has to fill some position. And so Tinubu to be sworn in as the president of Nigeria. Some of us are waiting and hoping for the wonders the court can perform. Personally, I don't really think there can be any meaningful thing coming out of that because in the little years I have lived, no presidential elections are not challenged in the court. The length of time it will take will even make some of us to lose interest. The Man Tinubu This man is so powerful and influential., He scaled all the obstacles places before him: the skits, the abuses the prophecies, curses, ill- wishes, cash scarcity and many more. He looks more powerful than all. 1. Performance. I can bet it that despite his age, he will perform. He was ready and determined for him to have been planning for the seat for twenty years. I think he has something to offer. Apart from Muslim - Muslim ticket which to me is excuseable, because of the behavior of northern christians. It is the same thing we see in some southwestern states. Christians run away from politics and those that participate are little encouraged by their brethren. I noticed something in Ibadan in the just concluded elections, about seventy five of those seeking elective positions are Muslims. So are most northern christians. No serious politicians will take a paper weight as a running mate in a game of numbers. Polity. Tinubu is master of the game. If care is not taking, by 2027, Nigeria would be tending to a one party state. There will be no political varieties. Anyway, the political parties themselves are not based on ideologies and values but ethnicity, religion and sentiments. Tinubu understands the game. He knows how to fix things using any means possible. For instance, in his government, no matter what genuine case Adeleke may have in Oṣùn State, he is a goner. This will be a dangerous thing for nigeria for the foreseeable future. Security The issue of security is daisy because the Islamic north has an agenda and subtly supporting the move as an avenue to entrench their religion. Already, a YouTube meeting of seventy five Islamic sets went viral. These sects claimed to have been strategizing Muslim -- Muslim tickets since Abiola kingibe to perpetuate one religion rulership. His government may be sabotaged by his loyalists who may not see things the way he sees being a southern Muslim. In the north, you can scarcely see people like Idiagbon, Fashola, Tinubu who have wives and children practicing faiths of their choices. Tinubu may be directly or indirectly working for one religion cause even unawares. Appointments I do not see him making lopsided appointments like Buhari. He , like OBJ will be liberal and objective in his choices of lieutenants. Legacy He could, by the Muslim - Muslim ticket nationally and I think in Kaduna ṣtate, be laying a foundation of a northern dominance by the time he is leaving office. The northerners will play along with him now having won the first battle that northern christian politicians are worthless and not relevant in their political terrain. In summary, this may be a twist of history that we may never have wished. |

Pierocash:If Igbo's votes would distrupt our development, it is better prevented. While I recognize some good igbo people like Akabueze has something to offer, majorly of you people say unprintable things about us, the owners of our land. Do you think we would allow such? Can anybody try that in Anambra or Enugu? When we see cool headed Igbo or other tribes, they are welcome. A person like you who abuse us on our will be resisted. |

Pierocash:Note the bolded. It is easier for an American to win elections in Lagos state or any other parts of Yorubaland than Igbos. Yorubas that are elected in offices abroad have something to give back to the society. Igbos don't fit into our philosophy and ideology as a people. Do you think igbos vote in Lagos made Obi win presidential election in Lagos? Stop deceiving yourself, Yoruba youths wanted a change because of Buhari's incompetence. There are so many people from other tribes in Ekiti, Oyo and Lagos state in offices. Especially in Ekiti and Oyo States. How many can we find in your states? You are demanding what you cannot give. Go back home and build your states and make them admirable for others to prosper also. Imagine ending your post with abuse. |
Maximus692:Mad people cannot be born again. True talk. Universal truth. What made him mad the first instance? |
What should I say now? Ehn!? |
Igboland is enemy locked. Self made enemies. Calling Lagos a no man's land is insult to yoruba people as well as calling northern people fools in their own land. As long as you hold this mindset. Igbos will be enemy locked. |
Ynix:His parents met on Facebook online doctors took care of his pregnancy and online food is fed him. |
socialmediaman:Is Hundeyin not a yoruba name? He is a fool. You don't talk against elder like that. He can port to Anambra. |

longetivity:Yes, Sanwo - Olu is from Abakaliki, the case of his first son is still the court and his inlaws are waiting for him to pay the bride price of their daughter. Don't be deceived by a dubious Yoruba name like Rotimi, Abiola and Gbadebo. Lagos is no man's land. Another Igbo man reelected. Igbo on top. ![]() |
naptu2:Brown roof dey Igbo land also? |
raskymonojendor:Yes, Igbo are taking over Benin. |

EmekaA125:There is nothing to explore in SE. Why are you people running away from there.?. SW has become like USA and Europe to you. Superior brain power is creating a better society that you are spoiling with fake products and prostitution. Go back to your Biafra. |
I was looking for Chelsea and Everton EPL match today on the front page. I was disappointed not to see it. Is it because of concern for Nigeria or Chelsea has assumed Persona. Non Grata? |
See her mouth |
A woman of Yoruba tribe and her husband were not allowed to vote in Lagos because they their look were like Igbos. How true is the popular saying that Lagos belongs to nobody as well as everyone? |
Maximus692:So woe declarer. You declared woe also. Good one. In the same place where Jesus declared woe.. He declared other things. So you obey the woe alone shey? |
Maximus692:So your organization accept payment of tithes to fully obey Jesus as house to house evangelism, or you just choose what to obey? |
Okorietitus:I am a bonafide son of Oduduwa. His blood flows in my veins. However, when it comes to election we kill ourselves. Next to us is Igbos. I have never heard election related vawulence in the north. Àfiṣe ni? |
