It is my opinion that faith and reason work hand in hand for the most part....I agree that there are times when they seem to be at odds with each other but really, when one takes a cursory look, what we might find out is a situation where we get so many things wrong.

Anyways, it still depends on your definition of reason and how you think reason should be applied...sometimes these can be very subjective depending on our 'brand' of 'looking glass'.

This is an excerpt from my book, The Total Man;

about the resurrection of the dead regarding marital issue, he said;

“But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? GOD IS NOT THE GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING.” (Matthew 22:31-32).

It means that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob even though physically death are still living in the realm of the spirit.

4. When Jonah died, he narrated his experience. He certainly couldn’t be alive in the fish belly for more than a few minutes talk more of three days. You will understand it better if you have been under water before or almost got drowned. So, Jonah died but his soul went to hell. So, he was able to narrate what happened to him briefly for the three days proving that the dead are conscious. Read narration below;

Ask these people to be honest with you. Their churches are already filled to the brim with women like you in adulterous marriages. They come year after year in their droves fasting and praying for their husbands who already abandoned them in marriage to leave the side chick and come back home to them, without result.
