Just like we don’t have fuel scarcity at the moment, the black market guys are now more passive currently because no queues at filling stations (official channels). My friend stop doing parralel comparison between fuel and dollars or using it to justify the govt's policy actions . The govt got is wrong with the reckless, hastymanner they handled the 2 policies. Now that companies are unable to import raw materials and machine for industrial production we know what is happening. I don't think there's any Nigerian artist as prolific as Ebenezer Obey. Twale Sir! Exactly! Composition, lyrics, arrangement melody, excellent guitar works. Give it to Chief Ebenezer Obey |

HisaacPlus: The famous 1971 handshake between musicians Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.
The handshake is historically instructive as it became newsworthy at the particular time following claims of a rivalry which lasted for many years.
Recently, Ebenezer Obey said the rivalry was a concoction by fans and the media. "The competition between myself and KSA was projected by fans and media. It almost turned our music into politics. I thank God it never happened.
Every time, it was “Obey this, Sunny that”, we both always ensured that we neutralised all that fake rivalry. This was why I said that in one-word musicians should not see themselves as competitors but as contributors to the growth of the Nigerian music industry," he said.
Meanwhile Happy 79th Birthday to a living legend, Juju Maestro, King Sunday Adegeye aka King Sunny Ade 📊 🚨King Sunny Ade isFirst Nigerian Artiste to be nominated for Grammy in 1983 for his work "Synchro System" 📀🎵
- He took JuJu music to the world🌎 Sunny contributed his quota to Juju music. But we should stop using all this Grammy award thing to judge or rate musicians. Bob Marley never won a Grammy but he i far greater and better than most of those that won those awards. If you watched and listen to Ebenezer Obey's shows and gigs in Europe,US and Canada earlier, you would realize that every one of them did their best. |

Now they’ve reduced it by just 0.5%—not even up to 1%—and some people are jubilating. It’s almost as if General is Cardoso’s brother. Thank you my brother. This shows how some of us celebrate mediocrity in this country. Somebody took dollar exchange rate from N480 to N1,550, and now some people want us to celebrate because it is now N1,490 or so. My comment is not in specific reference to General ooo, just my general observation of how some of us do. |

I don't want to sell yet. I just want it migrated to my trading account. Morgan did not respond to my request regarding that. Follow my explanations very well. I don't think you can migrate the shares to your trading account. It is either you sell or you leave the shares in the CSCS account. That is your main account with the NGX/SEC and your shares are even more secure and safer in the CSCS. Every shares that you have must appear in the CSCS account, otherwise you don't own the shares anymore |

olig: Making OANDO Bonus tradeable
Please, how do I make my OANDO bonus tradable? It is showing in my CSCS account, but not in my trading account. I contacted Morgan more than two weeks ago, but nothing seems to have been done Usually, the trading account is with your broker, and it would show transactions that you have done through them (buying/selling/cash deposits/withdrawals) and the cash balance. Share bonuses given by companies normally go directly into your CSCs account without passing through your broker, hence those would not appear in your trading (broker's) account. But once you are sure the shares are in your CSCS account, you can sell directly if you have online access or you fill a mandate form and give to your broker to sell on your behalf and the cash proceeds will be credited to your trading account.. |

Like a playground bully, Israel keeps pushing until someone bigger forces them to face consequences. Their actions only reinforce Middle East fears: Israel’s behavior makes it difficult to trust them in regional diplomacy or security matters. You can continue to deceive yourself. Where were you when Israel bombarded Iran and killed hundreds of their top generals in 12 days without losing a single aircraft or soldier? You should rather tell Iran to try and fire missiles at Israel once again and see what will happen to them. If you do not know, Israel is still in full air dominance over Iran and they can fly their warplanes in and out of Iran and nothing will happen to them. |

descarado: Its surprising that majority of those being emotional here do not know that Islam is the 2nd biggest religion in isreal. Christianity is not even up to 2% Christians are forming attachee by force here.
Isreal can easily accept Muslims than Christians. Tora never believed the existence of jesus Christ. They maintained the momentum cos of the international recognition and favour it gives them through Christianity Christianity is the brain child of Europe Isreal rejected it cos they never accepted jesus. Have any of you ever read the torah? You go to church, your men of God will tell you to fight anybody who fight isreal. No, they are protecting their investments. As for the Muslims, what the Europeans did with Christianity is what they are currently doing. And oh, Christianity did worst. So if you are blaming Muslims, know that the name jihadist were first used on Christians.
Religion except your ancestral religion is a means of political control. That was what Europe used to conquer the world. Islam is doing theirs. They will peak and start going down like Christianity. No right thinking person in this era takes both serious unless you do not want to experience freedom of mind. Thats the best gift ever. Islam is a religion in Israel because Israel decided to accept and allow the Arabs who took Israel citizenship after Israel was granted a State. Otherwise the real Israelis are mostly Judaist and some Christians. The muslims are Arab Israelis and enjoy all the privileges and rights of citizens of Israel, and freedom of worship. Nobody attacks or burns their mosques. Can you compare that to what happens in other Islamic countries where both Jews and Christians are attacked and churches/synagogues burnt? |

Orlandoo: Hypocritical people. So they go to another man's land to crown their Oba, but won't allow others do same in their region. You don't get it. The problem is the word or adjective that is used to describe the person Did you read anywhere that the man called himself "Emir" or "King" or "Ruler" ? The world '"Oba" is useless and meaningless to the people of Kano or Enugu or Accra . Same way "Eze Ndigbo" is meaningless in other places like Lagos or Accra. But if the man should call himself using the local language "Emir" or the English word "King" of Kano he would deemed to be dragging authority with the Kano Emirates because they can understand and relate with the full meaning of the words and they would react. Just stick to your local language of what you call yourselves. Dont add the local language of the host community or use a word (e g. King) that has universal meaning and make them feel challenged or undermined in their own kingdom. "Nze Ndigbo" will not have any problems in Lagos or Accra or Kano because the word is useless to them. And if people ask you say you are the "Leader" or "Head" of your Igbo people, not a "King" . But "Oba or King of Igbo" will cause issues in Lagos or Accra because they can relate with the implications of those words "Oba Yoruba" will not have problems in Kano or Accra or Imo. But "Emir or Obi or King of Yoruba" will cause problems in Kano or imo or Accra. The choice of word and language matters. |

Now not sure which of the evil to back- the rot in NNPC vs the monopolistic tendencies of Dangote How is Dangote monopolistic in this refinery matter? Has he said that other people should not build their own refineries if they want to? Refinery business is not like building filling stations or buying tankers to distribute petrol. It is a business that requires very huge capital investment and not many people can afford to take the risk and go into it. It is not Dangote that made it that way. |

Meanwhile the business seems to be declining in real life. Most of their filling stations around our location has been bought or rebranded to NNPC. I won't be surprised if the stock hovers around + or - 20% of its current value pending when Tinubu's chances in 2027 is certified Oando filling stations ke? They sold all their filling stations to NNPC many years ago but NNPC only completed the change of name/logo recently. Oando now operates majorly as crude oil exploration and production (E&P) and trading company. They don't sell refined products anymore until further notice. GeneralDae: Dangote is a blessing to Nigeria. This is the highest petroleum export (non crude oil) , I have ever seen. 7.7 trillion naira in Q2, 2025.
From what I see here, refined petroleum products are now second in our exports after crude oil exports, displacing agricultural products (which are usually very low).
Note: Other petroleum products may also include petroleum gases though (usual NBS terminology for gas). Probably they are broken down in the full NBS report. The man Dangote is truly a blessing. I just hope and pray he stays away from politics or vying for presidency for ever. Abiola had similar opportunity but we lost him to politics. So sad. |

But if they insist on it, they may be levies and charges on foreign investors before they can repatriate home their loot, to make up for the tax requirement.
