Would the crisis have some effects on the average production cost per barrel of crude? because if production cost stays relatively the same as before this surge in price or, maybe with only a marginal increase, OANDO's journey out of its woes may just have received 'divine' intervention

For countries or companies that import raw crude oil and refine locally, the crisis would increase the average production cost per barrel.
For upstream companies that produce and export crude e.g. Seplat, Oando, the average production cost might not be affected much. But how much they would gain from the price rally might depend on how much forward sales they still have to deliver and the price in the forward contract.

What happened to Naira for crude deal? What happened to locally sourced crude or does it come through the strait of Hormuz?

What happened to crude stock? What happened to refined stock? And Reserve if any? Has Nigerians consumed all?

Three or more Dangotes and Nigerians will be alright. Monopoly has never served or benefited the masses.

''Naira for crude'' simply means FG would sell crude oil to DR at the international price in dollars, but payment for it in naira.
If FG keeps increasing the dollar price of crude that they sell to DR, then the naira pump price will also keep increasing.
NNPC or relevant FG agency is supposed to have crude stock as a strategic buffer in emergency situations like this, but I doubt is they do.
DR's job is to refine and sell to the public. They cannot be keeping reserves for the country.

An Iranian Army spokesman says 220 American soldiers and commanders have been killed or wounded and significant damage has been inflicted on American assets in the region in retaliatory attacks by the Iranian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Zolfaghari, said on Saturday that 21 American service members were killed and a number of others injured during Iranian attacks on the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

He added that some 200 American personnel were also killed and wounded during strikes against the US military base in Al Dhafra Air Base.

The Armed Forces also targeted an oil tanker owned by the United States in the northern part of the Persian Gulf, he noted.

From a technical stand point, Oando has broken the N47 weekly resistance by closing above it today.

That's a valid break of structure (BOS), if price makes new high in the coming week without breaking the support at N40, then we are likely going higher.

That will confirm a market struture shift (change of character).

Thus, we may have seen the bottom and may be at the beginning of an uptrend.

Position trading stop loss would be below recent swing low at N35 and target above N90 mark. Entry below N50 (The lower, the better). Reward to risk is c.3:1.

Ask yourself why is Iran not concentrating on fighting Israel but instead sending missiles to Qatar, UAE, Bahrain etc who are not part of the war? The US planes that have taken part in the war are all stationed on the warship in the sea, so Iran should target that if it is serious.
I dont wish for the US to mobilize and deploy fully against Iran. It would be too disastrous. Israel is enough trouble for Iran.
