They should move to real time spot contract sale abeg...
all these forward contract never help our ministry..

I am pretty sure NNPC throughout this year is probably still transporting crude to AFREXIM bank at $60-$65..cuz of forward contract.

No benefit from the recent price surge. undecided
Who ee help?
Even the Segment information section shows that Oando has been doing more of Supply & Trading, with high cost of sales (inventory purchases) and low margins.
They need to invest in exploration & production (equipment to drill more oil) which is more profitable.

You may be right, but that kind of strategy is not sustainable.
There are other directors and shareholders with different interest from Wale, and they will kick one day.
One day, Wale's monkey go go market, e no go come back

It depends on the share price when the RI goes live.
I will take up the quantity due either on the floor or via the RI... smiley
Giving them ''close marking''.
I just want them to give further clarity on the share redistribution

Net foreign exchange gain = ₦22,606,185,000 (Note 4)
Foreign exchange loss = ₦45,436,773,000 (Note 5)

For comparison,
OandO Professional fees = ₦48.462bn
SEPLAT Professional fees = ₦12.808bn

A very professional company indeed
It is curious how Professional fees could jump to N48b from N28b(2025) i.e. N20b increase
Unless it is for very big project e.g. upstream E&P operations, Angola oil bloc etc.

You are asking the wrong handle.. Na the one we im quote you suppose ask.

He's saying that if not for the RI requirements, OandO may not have filed their Q1 and Q2 on time..
So the seemingly good turn around maybe out of necessity, hot necessarily out of change of Character/behaviour
But this has been the trend of when Oando releases their results. Someone predicted July 31st.
I think H1 2025 was also released on 31st July 2025

Q2 should be much better with the Brent price effect
The type of sales contract (e.g. Forward or Spot) may influence when the impact of global crude prices would reflect in the quarterly accounts.

Not just that, there is politics around governments handling. Opposition figure PO is invested there. All his associated businesses are prime targets to be frustrated.
No. I don't agree it is because of opposition targeting. There is no politics about the tax that public-listed company would pay after being audited by competent audit firms.
Even if PO or any politician that invested in the company should sell all his shares in the company today, it will not change anything.

IRAN GET THEIR OWN STRATEGY, THEY WANT TO WEAKENED AMERICA DEFENSES AND SHIELD AROUND ISREAL BEFORE HITTING THEM HARD.
And you think Iran itself will have enough space to fire missiles when Israel mounts surveillance and air superiority over the airspace of Iran?

Hopefully this will go a long way in restoring some kind of peace in that area. Hamas brought a war of destruction upon the very Palestinians they claimed to be fighting for, 70,000 dead and several others wounded and permanently maimed they have finally ( hopefully I must add) realised this was a losing battle from the onset.

Sometimes going really hard on people with this sort of mentality is the best way forward, not whatever it is that our Nigerian government are doing with bandits and terrorists in Nigeria. Hit them so hard that they go pick up their senses wherever they dropped it , or grow one if they had none in the first place.
This would never have been if Israel did not give it to them as forcefully and brutal as they did.
Terrorists only surrender to superior force

The officers and officials in IRAN know quite well that their days are numbered if they attack Israel. Israel will eliminate them.
What US is doing is just to attack their military infrastructure and installations but Israel will go after the top people as well.

Things are about to get brutal in the Middle East.

US forces bombed six family homes on Qeshm Island.

4 fathers dead. 2 mothers dead. A 3 year old child killed.

2 more children are fighting for their lives as we speak.

IRGC retaliated hard though.

7 US officers and 2 maintenance personnel dead at Muwaffaq Salti Base in Jordan.

Trump is furious.

NBC just released a statement.

Trump's ally's words: The president is enraged. He never thought the Iranians would make it this difficult for us. Dan Caine is panicking over the munitions stockpiles now. He’s warning about a string of strategic defeats coming if this keeps dragging.

Two hours ago, Trump exploded in a meeting with his top national security people.

He’s losing his mind about the limited military options against Iran.

He’s now pushing Hegseth and his troops to strike harder in the next 48 hours.

IRGC is getting ready to dismantle several Gulf countries as we speak.

The whole Middle East is in serious danger
There is nothing like munitions stockpile worries.
Iran will be levelled if they keep fighting this war! ,Mark my words.
I pray they attack Israel and see something!

Gross profit?

Profit After Tax?

Could this be another Oando acquisition down the line?
Possibly.
FGN earlier in the year floated the idea of reducing NNPC interests in some existing JVs and sell to Seplat, Oando, Renaissance and Sterling etc. but stakeholders like TUC kicked against it.
Now, the NNPC that wanted to divest from the JVs, is now acquiring more from Seplat? So it could be a way to eventually sell to other partners, including Oando, Renaissance etc

BornofGod108:
Iranian Strike Hits China-Owned Business in Kuwait, Killing One Worker Amid ‘Heavy Wave’ of U.S. Attacks

An Iranian strike hit a Chinese firm's building in northern Kuwait on Thursday morning, severely damaging the structure and killing a worker, Kuwait's military said, hours after Jordan's air defences shot down five missiles launched from Iran.

The attacks came after the U.S. military said it had completed "a heavy wave of strikes against Iran," conducted in response to an earlier Iranian missile attack on a U.S. base in Jordan.

The U.S. military's Central Command said online that it had struck "dozens" of targets belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, including military command centres as well as missile and drone facilities, and coastal surveillance and defence sites.

The first strikes from the U.S. in five days came after U.S. President Donald Trump vowed to hit Iran "very hard" after it targeted a base in Jordan that hosts U.S. troops.

Iran's official IRNA news agency said three people were killed and two were wounded in a strike on the island of Qeshm, which lies just off the Iranian mainland in the Strait of Hormuz, the crucial waterway for global energy supplies that Iranian attacks have again effectively closed.

No casualties were reported from Jordan's interception of the missiles, Jordan's state-run Petra news agency said, quoting the spokesperson for the country's armed forces..

Iran has been attacking civilian infrastructure, power and water desalination plants, hotels, airports etc. in Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Oman, from the beginning of the war. So nobody should complain when US decides to collapse their infrastructure as well.
