Education › Re: The Annoying Trend Of Uniforms In Nigerian Universities (photos) by mikeapollo: 11:55am On Jul 30 |
Rapmoney: I have noticed this trend in many Nigerian universities, and it is gradually becoming a norm. I wonder what the purpose of this uniform madness is.
Very soon, MSc and PhD students would be required to wear uniforms. Uniform should be for students in specific departments or faculties, and it is even suppose to be for specific days when practical or field work is to be done. Now, every department in most Nigerian universities wear uniforms everyday.
The photos below are from one particular university in Nigeria. What do you expect in mushroom schools, now called ''universities''? Just look at those classrooms in the picture and tell me they befit a proper university so called? |

yMcy56: If you had known me well, then you'll know I react to such silly posts if I see one......either I have the stock o, or I don't have it. I (sometimes ago) used to be a Custodian of Company Rules and Regulations (in addition to other roles) and I do frown at such false information when I see one...... Except I just decided to look away or just considered that it's social media with some uncultured faceless individuals also making use of the space.....
Just allow make Tinubu reason me for one of these ministerial Post first, Dem go know scores.....😁 Well done. Na so one headmistress dey brag for one school for village. Until she started seeing snakes (dead) regularly at her office door step. Nobody tell her before she applied for relocation. Snakes still dey 'enter' office 'swallow' money for Naija, so they can still 'enter' any office for any ministry that Tinubu puts you. |

Anti Social Media Bill needs to fully be implemented to regulate such false and malicious information, and the culprit face the wrath of the law... Such bills would not be effective against someone who is oversees outside the country. The internet is global |

yMcy56: Very funny..... So, after typing such ridiculous letter, they will still type "many more coming down" right below the Logo? 🙄
It's amazing the type of kids and uninformed investors we now have on NGX....
If you know a particular stock is not meeting your objectives, instead of cursing and trying to generate silly letters and copying the company logo on it, simply sell off and move to where you think you have peace of mind....
If ACCESS should fish this one out now and hand him over to DSS/Police, they'll start shouting oppression and freedom of speech.....
If ACCESS Bank can get hold of this one, let them use him/her as scape goat for others to learn.... This is not necessary at all. It would be an endless chase if any organization decides to go that route In a digital world. How many people would Access or any entity be able to get hold of? And what if the person(s) printing and spreading the fake news live in Afghanistan, Myanmar or Laos? They just need to publish a disclaimer, that's all |

Several years without returns on investment is very bad; but a lot can still happen. But they MUST clear the debt problem soonest if the company is to fly as envisaged by analysts |

MrPresident1: Islam is a civilizer. There is no problem with the religion of Islam, only the practitioners can be queried.
Christianity is the religion of Rome which morphed into America and western Europe Christianity started from the Jews, in Israel. But the followers of Christ were first given the name ''Christians'' in Antioch, a Greek City. Other empires like Roman empire, nations joined later when they saw the values and virtues it preaches. No Christian would attack or kill another person because of criticisms or preaching about the religion |

GuestInfinity: As long as you think all Palestinians are Hamas, you can never see the reality of the situation
Are you the one I told that Israel supported Hamas? Have you looked it up?
Israel including Netanyahu didn't have a problem with the damage Hamas was causing in Gaza and supported them and enabled them financially until Hamas attacked Israel
You Israel supporters will never acknowledge Israel's support of Hamas
Israel should target Hamas alone and not kill innocent civilians anyhow And are you blind or deaf to read, hear and know that IDF CONSISTENTLY issues evacuation notices anything they want to enter an area for military action? If Hamas terrorists are harboured by civilians to attack Israel, then dont blame Israel when those civilians get hurt or killled in battle. That is how these terrorists operate. They mingle and hide in the midst of civilians and use civilians infrastructure like schools, hospitals homes etc to store weapons and launch attacks. Some of the Israeli hostages in Gaza were kept in the homes of civilians and those civilians fully cooperated with the Hamas terrorists. |

GuestInfinity: You are the one who's the hypocrite. Who's supporting Hamas? Israel's army should target Hamas and leave innocent Palestinians alone
FYI the percentage of Israeli civilians killed by Hamas on Oct 7 was 70%
So who's better? Isn't Hamas and Israel's army doing almost the same thing? Liars! More than 95% of the Israeli citizens killed by Hamas on Oct 7 were civilians, including babies, and even immigrants from Africa, Thailand, Trinidad Tobago, Philippines. Your terrorists cannot attack Israel and also be the ones to determine how and the extent Israel can react! Don't start what you cannot finish! IDF is the ONLY military in the world that CONSISTENTLY issues evacuation notice so that civilians can leave before they attack a place. No other military does it in the whole world. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Amnesty International Says Benjamin Netanyahu Is Wanted For War Crimes by mikeapollo: 4:26pm On Jul 29 |
GuestInfinity: Even Israel confirmed it that 75% were civilians. Keep being in denial. You're just repeating Israel's army's propaganda of being the most moral army in the world. Killing 75% civilians is very moral indeed So tell us the percentage of Israeli civilians killed by Hamas on Oct 7. You hypcorites! |

faoogoke: They can dig into their retained earning/last year profit to top the dividend and sort of compensate shareholders The price will run past Firstholding for a N7 dividend. It is very possible even that whale that waits for market to end will be shocked! I don't think CBN allows banks to pay dividends from retained earnings or prior year profits. But Access annualized EPS is higher than N10 so they can easily pay N7 dividend from current year profits if they want to. |

SirCloudControl: There is a serious question people are not asking, how are these kind of snakes making their way into our ecosystem? Is someone deliberately raising them somewhere and spreading them? It is because of the kind of buildings and apartments they live in, and the bushy surroundings because of the so called eco-friendly environment. Don't be surprised that the snake may not be killed but returned back to the bush.....and it will go and bite someone else another day |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Netanyahu To Meet Trump Off Camera. by mikeapollo: 12:14pm On Jul 29 |
FSBoperator: Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Donald Trump but one interesting twist of this purported visit is that Netanyahu will not be presented in any form or way to the glaring Press.
So why will the defacto President of America who at one point had the record of having over 50 standing ovations before a joint US Congress address not be allowed to be photographed or videoed meeting his stooge Trump ?
The rumours of his death from a precision Iranian missile strike some months back on his underground bunker in occupied Jerusalem seems to be true.
Note that no one has seen Netanyahu in public since Iran declared they had successfully eliminated him alongside top IDF and Israeli Mossad figures. Go ahead and dance, jubilate and celebrate, Iran's missile strike that you believe has ''killed'' Netanyahu. It seems deliberate lies and deception is what makes you people happy! Taqqiya! |

It's a lot of money, and there were fears that the thing would flop hence the need to rope in other exchanges. I believe he is also prioritising retail in the IPO (don't quote me on that she) so those institutions may not have access during IPO Okay |

Raider76: PP is usually done at a discount. That is why people hassle to get in then. I think this particular PP is more like Alhaji allowing his friends to be allotted the full units they want to buy, instead of applying via IPO and not getting full allotment due to oversubscription. The company had already been fully established, operating; so the PP investors are not taking any special or higher risks than retail investors who will be buying the same shares via IPO just about 3-4 months afterwards. |
