So parents should teach their children in the way of the Lord, and not allow them imbibe some characters from society and bend them while still fresh"

Celebrities / Beatrix Dance Academy Celebrates First Christmas Performance. by MikePhilly(m): 7:47pm On Dec 23, 2021
All glory be to God almighty, for the season of Jesus Christ is giving the world many reasons to celebrate, especially everyone at Beatrixx Dance Academy. A local organization dedicated to grooming gifted kids in the areas of arts and crafts, skating and hoover board training, along with dance and gymnastics. They commemorated their first year of operations with a Christmas variety on Sunday, 19th of December 2021 at 25, Ola Williams Kayfarm estate, Obawole iju Ishaga.

The Christmas party featured more than 10 performers, ranging between the age of 3 to teenagers, and featuring various applaudable presentations by Academy members of different age groups, especially in areas of Ballet, ballroom, Gymnastics, Afro hip hop and cheerleading. The evening also featured recitations by some of Beatrixx's "elite" students, who divided their attention between joint choreography, miming and recitals.

Two students of the academy also maximized the occasion to express how they felt about their academy and their thoughts concerning their tutor. Miss Favour Benedict and Cherry Olaseinde had this to say
"We were taught how to carry ourselves elegantly, we would like to use this medium to thank Ms Beatrix and the general management for setting up such a great organization. We pray the love she has for us doesn't die and may God bless her in Jesus name"

A school proprietress, along with a friend of the academy, Mrs. Sarumi and Mrs. Vincent shared their glowing recommendations while endorsing Mrs. Anuoluwapo's academy
"With this academy, she's able to teach the children so many things, not only that. Most of the times I would see her fliers and spread it across different platforms, telling my parents to bring in their children and they wont regret it."

During a brief chat with journalists concerning his relationship with the academy, Environmental Scientist and social commentator with a burning passion for God, Dr. Benard Omoyeni, also shared a gesture of goodwill
"The performance of today is product of a combination of talent and training. This area of art is not common in Nigeria, we see this kind of acrobatic and gymnastic displays at the olympic grounds, now we have this rare display of skills at our door step. I see Beatrixs Academy going places pioneering the development of a field of entertainment in Nigeria. All we can do is to encourage her modest effort to become a household name in Nigeria and in diaspora. I pray God to establish the desires of Beatrixs Academy"

Anuoluwapo Betty Adeosun, who founded Beatrixx Dance Academy in April 2021, said the beginning was initially challenging, considering the resources that were needed for effective trainings, but so far God has been faithful.

"In terms of raising capital for basic needs, including a start up tent outside the compound; larger space for stunt and free body movements, also rugs wide enough to cover the dance premises. Along with cost for costumes, snacks and drinks for the kids on rehearsal days, because it's important for them to have something cold and snacky after exhausting their energy. But my passion for kids and encouraging their talents has been my strength, and so far God has been faithful."

"Watching them perform on stage with big artistes and seeing the impact has been fufiling despite all challenges. There are some parents who really wish their kids could participate but are not financially okay, I accept them for free for the sake of vision"

From humble beginnings of glorifying God by encouraging and investing in young talents, to currently working at having a large dance and creative Hall to expand the vision; which includes reaching out to kids on the street, Beatrix Academy is gradually transforming to a platform to showcase their light to the world through several creative enterprises like using raw materials to craft items and operating a manual sewing machine to sew side bags, skirts, zara caps, also making hair ruffle, Alice bands, wrist bands of various designs.

"There are great talents on the streets beyond our imaginations, but poverty never makes anyone pay attention to them, someday we hope to have a street talent hunts in areas of dance/ flexibility and creative Arts. To catch those talents off the streets, train and empower them to ensure God's will of making them useful to His glory, themselves and society at large"

Beatrix Dance Academy is recognized as a place of graceful flexibility and creative activities such as Ballet, ballroom, Salsa, cheerleading, skating, musical instruments, Creative Arts, where the kids learn to make beautiful vocal and instrumental sounds using toni sofas in composing various songs.

According to CEO. Betty A. Adeosun, the organization earnestly prays for God's intervention towards adding more musical instruments like the violin and a drum set, also to enlarge their present space in the next year. "We will be glad if the society will encourage this project by providing us vital equipments needed to carry on this vision, which includes removable tent, three violin, one drum set, a rechargeable mobile loud speaker for field purpose and soft gymnastics mats for safety of stunts"

To God be all the glory as Reverend Oladele Olusola Kolade's tenure as Shepherd of First Baptist Church-Iju, situated at 30/34 Alamutu Estate, officially came to an end on December 19, 2021. And fitting of an event of such magnitude, an emotional congregation convened for an appreciation and send forth service at the church auditorium to say their goodbyes after 7 years of an enjoyable adventure with God through His servant.

Having made indelible imprints during his tenure at FBC- Iju, Chapel of Peace and Praise- with notable contributions to better spiritual formations, indepth teachings and special trainings, Pastor Oladele Kolade also revitalized house fellowships and introduced monthly covenant, communion and anointing services.
And by consistently publishing Baptist Prophetic Digest- the church's yearly devotional among other periodic Bible related publications, Pastor Oladele has set a good relational template in serving God and established the mission house as a place of succor and support, thereby lifting the image of the church at community, ecumenical and denominational levels.

During his tenure, the church witnessed all-round development, including the birth of a medical clinic and many renovations within and around the church community.

Born to the family of Pa. Samson and Late Dns. Odunola Kolade, some fifty years ago, Reverend Kolade attended LA Primary School, Idi-Ope Oyo,and Oranyan Grammar School Oyo, then he proceeded to Emmanuel Alayande College of Education (formerly St. Andrews College of Education.
His rich spiritual journey began in secondary school where he and a few others were used by God to bring about a great revival at their Christian students Fellowship, which helped in nurturing many great servants of God who are now serving in different capacities today.

A deeper spiritual experience began in December 1987, when he personally encountered Christ and totally surrendered to Him. And following divine direction, he founded the Global Deliverance Team (GLODET), a nondenominational ministry dedicated to spiritual warfare and missions training, which led him through locations including Kaduna and Ghana.

He obtained a bachelor's degree in Theological studies at Ghana Baptist university college, and a Diploma in Theology at the University of Ghana, where he completed his training as the best undergraduate with first class results and demonstrated transformational leadership skills as student body leader.

"We must indeed thank God, for He has done wonderfully for us as a family, we are very grateful to God. It has been a very eventful 7 years with you all. And I remember when I first came to observe the setting of this place and I was wondering if my family members would be able to fit into the setting, looking at where we were coming from. So I appreciate my family, especially my wife and children. it's not easy to support me, with my strange leadings. I want to appreciate First Baptist Church- Iju, you have done wonderfully well to the best of your ability and capacity. A lot of people look at us from afar and wonder, probably because the church has been around for more than 80 years, so their expectations may be higher than what is really on ground. But I'm proud to say First Baptist Church- Iju is doing excellently well in serving the LORD. We have to appreciate everyone at the church and God will continue to move us forward."

Pastor Oladele Olusola Kolade is described as a very accommodating, very kind and appreciative leader, and in turn, First Baptist Church- Iju celebrates and appreciates him for all his support, care and everything he has done.

Politics / When Was The Last Time You Heard Of Bank Robbery by MikePhilly(m): 3:29pm On Dec 18, 2021
‘WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HEARD OF BANK ROBBERY ATTACKS IN LAGOS?’ - DR. BALOGUN QUERIES AS HE URGES BANKS, CORPORATES TO PLOUGH FRACTION OF CSR TO LAGOS STATE SECURITY TRUST FUND

By Oki Samson
www.trekafrica.net

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund has become a pride for not just Lagos but Nigeria as a whole. It has become a model that is copied all across the country. Infact the Police Trust Fund has seen the light of the day because LSSTF has worked for Lagos and is still working. The Trust Fund is a success story worthy of support, thus the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Fund, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun is calling on more corporate organizations to support the cause.

Urging corporate organizations in his media parley covered by Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper ahead of the 15th Town Hall Meeting, Dr. Balogun noted: ‘We agree that a lot of them have Corporate Social Responsibility that they do and we thank them for it but we are saying a fraction of whatever you want to do, plough it into the Trust Fund. With the little resources that we have, we do big things because we apply it prudently and judiciously so there should not be excuses. We are all enjoying it together. Individuals and corporations should know that we must donate our widow’s mite for this organization. That is the narrative.’
‘For a lot of corporations, we believe that despite the issues they may be going through in terms of harsh economic climate, we still insist that the robust security architecture will be maintained. Looking at the banking sector, when was the last time you heard of bank robbery attacks in Lagos, it’s been over 10 years. It is not possible anymore, we have fortified. What would a bank do without adequate security? It is important that we continue to support this cause.’

‘If you look around the city, I dare say over 70-80% of assets of the security agencies in Lagos is from this office. Is that not enough for people to come on board but there is priority. There is nothing you want to do that security is not the mainstay.’
‘The Police Trust Fund was erected as an act of the National Assembly to show that the issues that led to the creation of LSSTF has not changed. Infact it is worsened because population is increasing, unemployment is increasing, migration to Lagos is increasing, crime rate is increasing.

Do not forget that the entire security of Nigeria is vested in the Federal Government. But Lagos State Government has continued to take the forefront in security.’
‘Yet we have a lot to do as a state. Infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth programmes, etc. You can see that the Lagos State Government is bearing a lot. It can’t continue to bear the burden alone. We need collaboration. We need media to push the narrative.’

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNQ5riLZP9A

Chief Rotimi Williams Estate Residents Association (CRWERA), realized a family fantasy during its maiden edition of Christmas Carol and Praise Night, tagged "6 hours with God" which took place on Monday, December 13- complete with Bible readings, solo performances, group and mass choir presentations, including words of exhortation, and prayers for the nation.

A highly esteemed resident who spoke with journalists concerning the planning and execution of the mega affair stated that the Estate's executives under the chairmanship of Pastor Seyi Adeyemi decided to put together a first of its kind Christmas Carol and Praise Night, "for unity and bonding of residents regardless of ethnic and religious background, and to appreciate God for His mercies, grace and love over every resident, especially during the pandemic. Also seeking His face for good tidings, protection, peace and abundance in Nigeria towards the coming year".

Seven Church Choirs, including that of Rhema Chapel, Winners Chapel, RCCG, MFM, Catholic of Don Bosco, Jesus Liberation Ministry and The Worship Center were invited to perform at the Carol of Nine Lessons, that was well attended by over five thousand people, including residents and non residents of the estate.
Renowned gospel singer, Evangelist Tope Alabi of the Gospel Vibes was on ground as the Guest Minister.

A committee headed by Mr Omololu Akinwande was set up to plan and actualise the vision.

According to the Planning Committee Chairman, the main message of the event is that, in all situations and condition we may find ourselves, we should always give thanks. Having reasons to appreciate God regardless of what we are going through as an individual, people and as a nation, is one of the key channels God's blessing and abundance."

In an interview with Pastor (Dr.) Benard Omoyeni at the event, he stated that It's awesome to behold this atmosphere of God's presence triggered by high praises. We are here to return all the glory to God for His faithfulness and mercy all through the year 2021. This Christmas season offers unique opportunity to appreciate God for the gift of His son Jesus Christ and His wonderful works. I have no doubt that this event will ursher in landmark peace and progress in Kayfarm Estate in the years ahead.

"Turnout of people enmass inspite of the National mood is a pointer to the fact that Nigerians still believe that all will be well." Dr. Benard Omoyeni added.

Heralded by Olatunbosun Tolu as Master of Ceremony, live performances began by 4pm, and held on stage till 10pm, at the KayFarm football pitch, located just within walking distance of the main gate, as the whole affair was open to all fun seeking families and more importantly, friends of Christ.

"Its exciting to be in such an atmosphere, I love being in God's presence, especially when it comes to praising and worshipping Him. I can dance all night. Not to mention the inspiring performances of the music ministers, and Tope Alabi in the building, as long as they can sing all night, I will dance all night" said Julius Omotayo, an evangelist and representative of an invited ministry

Celebrities / The Purpose Of The Mouth Is Not Just For Food by MikePhilly(m): 2:14pm On Dec 14, 2021
SHILOH 2021 - MORE THAN CONQUEROR
THE PURPOSE OF THE MOUTH IS NOT JUST FOR FOOD; YOUR MOUTH IS A WEAPON OF WAR.

YOUR MOUTH IS NOT JUST A BODY PART. YOUR MOUTH IS A GIFT FROM GOD FOR TRIUMPH IN LIFE.

YOUR LIBERTY OR CAPTIVITY IN LIFE IS AT THE MERCY OF YOUR WORDS.

YOU ARE EITHER A VICTIM OR A VICTOR BASED ON WHAT YOU ARE SPEAKING.

-Pastor Paul Enenche Jnr at Shiloh 2021
Day Three, Hour of Visitation.

Luke 21:15
Take note of three things here:
a). Your mouth is not just a body part. Your mouth is a gift from God for triumph in life.

b). The purpose of the mouth is not just for food. Your mouth is a weapon of war.

c). Your mouth is designed to communicate wisdom for the disarming of your adversaries.
- I stand by the prophetic mantle of this house here and I declare to someone, on your return from this Shiloh, every adversary you left at home shall be leveled before you arrive!

Deuteronomy 30:19
Your tongue is the tool for the communication of your choices in life. When you are speaking, you are choosing. It is the tool for the communication of your decisions. Everytime you are talking, you are not just making statement, you are making choices. Church Gist. This is very critical (Proverbs 18:21). The power to live or die is rooted in your tongue. There are people who died before their time, not because the devil was too powerful. They died before their time because their tongue was too wrongful.

I read a story where the wife of John G. Lake died and saw herself appeared in Heaven and an angel said, "welcome to the Holy Mountain of God. Welcome to Heaven" and she said, "Is this Heaven? Who will take care of my husband and my children? I'm not dying now." Even in Heaven, she had a choice. "I am not dying now" and she returned back to life.
- I announce to somebody here today, every death looking for you is cancelled now!

Look at your neighbor and say;
"I am not dying now!"
"To hell with covid, I am not dying now. I can't die now!"

Proverbs 12:18
The tongue of the wise can bring health and the tongue of the fool brings ill-health. That is; the way you are speaking can make you strong or sick. A woman went to the medical doctor, she was having PO in medicine (Pyrexia of Unknown Origin) - fever whose cause is not known. Church Gist. So the medical doctor in Korea interrogated her a little bit and they can't find the cause of the fever. Then suddenly, the man said, "Tell me the kind of things you say". The woman began to recounts what she said. She said, every time somebody say what she doesn't like, she will say; "You are burning me with your words". She kept talking like that until the body began to burn and there was no cause for it.
- I prophesy today, the grace to speak right is released upon you right now!

Matthew 12:36-37
Words bring liberty or captivity. Your liberty or your captivity in life is at the mercy of your words. Church Gist. You are either a victim or a Victor based on what you are speaking.

*EXAMPLE OF PEOPLE WHO USED WORDS TO DETERMINE OUTCOMES:*
1. Abraham.
God told Abraham to carry Isaac and sacrifice his child on the mountains He will tell him. Church Gist. Abraham determined the outcome of the whole adventure before he left for the sacrifice (Genesis 22:5, Hebrews 11:17).
- I announce to someone here today, your outcome is going to line up with the Word of God for your life!

*NEVER ALLOW YOUR SITUATION DETERMINE YOUR CONFESSION. LET YOUR EXPECTATION DIRECT YOUR CONFESSION*

SAY TO THE ENEMY, WHATEVER YOU WANT ME TO SEE, YOU WILL SEE DOUBLE.
WHEN A ROARING LION ROARS AND SAYS, “HEY”, ROAR TWICE: HEY, HEY AGAINST THAT devil.

*ANYONE NOT GOING IN YOUR DIRECTION AND DOES NOT BELIEVE IN YOUR DECLARATIONS IS NOT QUALIFIED FOR YOUR ASSOCIATION.*

*INIQUITY AFFECTS AUDACITY. YOU CAN’T SPEAK BOLDLY IF YOUR CONSCIENCE IS DEFILED.*

Example Number 2: Ruth the Moabitess
Ruth became an Israelite by force

-Nothing can be against you, not your tribe, not the position of your birth, not the circumstance of your country, not the economy of your nation. Nothing can be against you if you are not against yourself.

Lift your voice and say, “In the name of Jesus, I shall fulfill my destiny and no devil can stop me.”

Example Number 3: David was a little boy that catapulted
1 Samuel 17:43-50
David killed Goliath with his word, before he killed Goliath with his sword – 1 Samuel 17:45

This boy had no knife, he said, “I am going to cut off your head.” Do you cut off people’s head with hand?” – 1 Samuel 17:46,48-50
-Every Goliath you left before you came to Shiloh, I announce that the goliath shall collapse before you return
Whatever comes out of your mouth will put whatever is necessary in your hands to fulfill your destiny. Whatever comes out of your mouth per time will put what is necessary in your hands.

There was no sword in the hand of David yet he was going the man, the sword eventually entered his hand and it was the sword of the enemy he used to kill the enemy.
-What the devil is using against you today, God will put it in your hands to use it against that devil.

My final Example: Job who refused to die by his words
Job 14:14
-Change is coming for somebody!!
If the devil cannot stop you from saying, no devil can stop you from seeing it.
-I announce to someone here, no devil shall be able to stop you from seeing it.
Lift your voice and say, “I can’t die now. I shall fulfill my days.”

WHAT IS THE IMPACT/ EFFECT OF THE TONGUE?
The tongue has effects in 5 different directions
1. God: What you speak affects God directly. God responds – Numbers 14:28, Isaiah 44:26
On God directly, your words have impact.
2. On the Angels – Ecclesiastes 5:6
Angels are watching to hear what you will say – Psalm 103:20
3. On the enemy. The devil is on the look out for what you are saying -Psalm 18:44-45
-I announce strangers are leaving your way right now.
Exodus 15:13-15
Why? Because they are hearing from you what God is doing in your life.
-Your enemies shall fade away shortly.
4. Tongues have effect on the earth. Everything around you is watching for what you are saying – Jeremiah 22:29
Your car, your house, your farm, your properties: they are all on the look out for what is coming out of your mouth – Mark 11:23
The mountains are waiting to hear from you.
5. On your life: on your spirit, soul and body. Your words affect yourself – Proverbs 12:18
Some neurological discovery somewhere in the East discovered that the speech centre of the brain has a dominant effect on the other nerves of the body. The meaning of that is, when you say, I am not feeling fine, your brain interprets to the rest of the body, “this man does not want to feel fine. So just ensure you conform to his desire not to feel fine.”
“Everything is going wrong around me. I feel so sad.” There is a dominance of speech nerves over the nerves of your body. Church Gist. As you speak, your body aligns.
If you say, “I am excited, everything is working”: all of a sudden, happy hormones, excitement hormones are released on the spot.
Your tongue works on your life and on your body.

The words of the unbeliever have zero effect on your life.
Whenever the unbeliever tells you, “You will see,”
Tell him whatever you want me to see, you will see double.
When a roaring lion roars and says, “hey”, roar twice: hey, hey against that devil
2 Kings 19:6-37
-Every word spoken by an unbeliever against your life, that appears to be standing against your destiny, I declare they are nullified in Jesus name.

WHAT ARE THE KEYS TO SPEAKING RIGHT?
1. Continuous feeding on light. What fills your heart flows out of your mouth – Matthew 12;37
Fill and stuff your life with light and you will speak right
2. Flowing with the spirit of Faith like our Father taught us the other day – 2 Corinthians 4:13
What is believed is useless until it is declared. You don’t believe it enough if you are not saying it. The proof of conviction is declaration. If you are convinced, you will declare it.

3. Keeping the right company – Numbers 13:33 -14:1
What affected the children of Israel was hanging around with wrong company who influenced them until they began to doubt God.
Anybody who does not speak faith, who does not speak right, who speaks doubt is not qualified for your company. Church Gist. Anyone not going in your direction and does not believe in your declarations is not qualified for your association.

4. Living in uprightness because iniquity affects audacity. Sin ruins the efficacy of sound – Proverbs 28:1
You can’t speak boldly if your conscience is defiled – Isaiah 59:1-2

KEY THOUGHTS ON THE USE OF THE TONGUE
1. Your tongue can either define your life or defile your life.
2. Never allow your situation to determine your confession. Let your expectation direct your declarations.
3. Never keep quiet when your destiny is being determined; when your destiny is being decided, never keep quiet. Church Gist. Remember Goliath
4. Until your mouth is widely opened, your destiny is tightly closed. If your mouth is not widely opened, your destiny remains tightly closed.
5. Your life turns in the direction of your tongue.

WHAT IS THE RIGHT USE OF THE TONGUE IN ORDER TO SEE POSITIVE EFFECTS?
1. Speak wholesome words, that is grace filled words, not bitter words. Not hurtful words – Colossians 1:6, Proverbs 12:18
2. Speak godly words, not filthy words – Colossians 3:8, Ephesians 5:4
3. Speak honest words, truthful words. Avoid lying. If you can’t rely on your words, in the realm of the spirit, no devil, nothing will rely on your word.
4. Speak in the language of praise and thanks – Psalm 34:1
5. Speak the word continually – 2 Corinthians 4:13
6. Speak in the language of the spirit

Prayers: Pray in the spirit for 2 minutes. Pray in the spirit.

Celebrities / Slangs Only Shiloh2021 Participants Can Relate With by MikePhilly(m): 7:05am On Dec 14, 2021
Definitely a December to remember as estimated tens of thousands of worshippers made their way to worship God and obtain their More Than A Conqueror status at Faith Tabernacle-OTA, where several hundreds of church workers from various units were dispatched to maintain order around the mammoth church structure

"Where can I find free bus? Where is the Youth Chapel? Is there water at 3rd John? Is there someone seated beside you? Where is Faith park? Who did you come with? Where can I charge? How can I get a one on one with Bishop or any of the officiating ministers? Are top among pressing questions from campers that besieged workers and fellow campers at Shiloh2021. But here we'll be highlighting the attributes of church units and workers, whose activities helped in making Shiloh2021 a truly More Than A Conqueror experience.

Determined to have their respective personal encounter with the God of the Bible, representatives from over 44 nations, and online viewership across 176 countries joined the overflow at Canaanland during the 22nd edition of Shiloh, aptly tagged More Than A Conqueror

Anyone with a keen eye would applaud the efforts of various units whose official parlance and jargons added fun to the stay of campers and visitors. Here are the units I can remember, their job description and some official slangs that often put them at loggerheads with campers.

Fun fact; These unit workers are a humble blend of captains of corporate industries, young multimillionaires, highly gifted youths, internationally renowned business professionals and several other prestigious occupations, with a common goal in sight: working hand in hand to return all glory by serving the Living God who made all things possible for all of us who believe.

The Security Unit are Canaanlands official first and external line of defense. Comparable to a group of low budget Jack Bauers, they are responsible for controlling the massive traffic in and out of Canaanland. And are ever ready to contain worrisome situations. You will spot them at the entrance, handing out gate pass to vehicles, radioing updates with walkie talkies, and searching personal effects of Canaanland visitors,
"Please do not leave with what is not yours!
Open your bags please!"

Once in Canaanland, the next Unit you are likely to encounter are the Sanctuary Keepers:
In such a crowded facility with so much activity, they are probably the hardest workers as their work never seems to end.
They are responsible for keeping the entire Faith Tabernacle clean and beautiful. And often fall into disputes with campers when the Tabernacle gets closed because most worshippers would like to eat, sleep, if possible live inside the auditorium (which I also wouldn't personally endorse).
"Everybody, please exit the building!
The Tabernacle is closed!"

Confident, smartly dressed and well-spoken, Crowd Control Unit (CCU)/Surveillance, are my favorites, always acting, feeling, serving and sounding like James Bond for God's house. Their color is Yellow, and their disposition is mainly corporate. When they are not trying to reduce number of thefts and sorry situations around the Tabernacle, you will see them parading the grounds with earpiece hanging and usually shouting at slowpokes on the driveways.
"Use the Walkway, Keep Moving!
Use the next entrance please."

Hospitality Group, as their name implies, are courteous and the most hospitable in all of Canaanland units. They hardly talk, mostly signs and gestures, unless questions are asked. Their job description entails collecting information, while assisting new converts through the process of dedicating their life to Almighty God through Jesus Christ. "Have you finished filling your Convert card? Wave your cards. Welcome to Faith Tabernacle, God bless you". And for this among other reasons, they're arguably the most mentioned units by Preachers.

Ushers are somewhat similar and work hand in hand with Hospitality, these groups do not seem to talk at all, except "Welcome to Canaanland". Theirs is to pass around offering baskets to collect offerings, seeds and other financial obligations. After which it is passed onto head ushers. It's not unusual to see stone faced head ushers marching out of the auditorium with the big offering buckets, while CCU and Security clear the way for them to pass unbothered.

Protocol
Your name and testimony please
I haven't had a personal encounter with the protocol department but observing their strategic placements when called, they are to collate and compile the occasional multitude of testimonies according to relative relevance.

Ministers

Celebrities / Concept Of EIA by MikePhilly(m): 2:46am On Dec 10, 2021
The widely accepted scientific term Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), sometimes referred to as Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), was officially coined in the 1969 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), which was passed by the United States Congress, following the environmental disasters in England and the United States of America.

The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in England and Love Canal Toxic Waste Incident in California, practically spurred the invention of EIA, which encompasses the tending of matters that concern our environmental planning, aesthetics, design and protection.

EIA, which became active on January 1, 1970, has continued to provide guidance towards developmental projects and research support concerning environmental issues through various institutions, notably the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) and the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP).

Celebrities / More Than A Conqueror- Shiloh Begins Tuesday by MikePhilly(m): 10:48am On Dec 06, 2021
The annual spiritual gathering of members of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Shiloh, begins on Tuesday December7, 2021.

The event, with the theme, “More than a conqueror,” runs through to Sunday, December 12, 2021, when it is rounded off with a thanksgiving service.

According to the presiding Bishop, Dr. David Oyedepo, this 23rd edition of the annual event, “is a mountain of transfiguration, a place where lives are changed for the better.”

“Shiloh is a prophetic platform for the conferment of dominion both on us as a church and as individuals, so as to subdue the land before us,” he said.

The event will be beamed live via satellite throughout the world, including about 200 viewing centres in Lagos, Ota and environs alone as well as all the Living Faith churches throughout the countries, cities, towns and villages.

The Chairman of the Deacons Board of the church, Samuel Anefu ,has charged the Crowd Control Unit(CCU) which is saddled with ensuring orderliness at the event to show love both to their co-stewards and members of the larger congregation in the course of duty.

He implored them to show a worthy Christian character and imbibe the “fruits of the Spirit” which will make their service acceptable.

Stopping deforestation offers environmental sustainability and also halting climate change impacts, however it could also mean huge loss of income to a significant percentage of the country's population, because Agriculture, which is a major source of deforestation, contributes 24 percent of our GDP, that is, over 70 percent of the population are involved in Agriculture, with a larger percentage depending on forests.

Naturally it is said that over 80 percent of the citizens live below poverty line, and the bulk of the population depend on forest resources to make a living. One of the ways to reverse deforestation is to stop the exploitation of forest resources, which automatically means the population depending on forest resources will be left out, and won't have any other means of livelihood, since no alternative source of livelihood has been provided.

Now, it should be about afforestation not just deforestation, focus should be on plans to replenish the forest resources and manage it well. It is not about trees being cut, but more concerning plans being made to replace.

Trees are meant to be cut, and forest resources are renewable. If you plant some tree species, they have grown to harvestable size in the next 6 years- most trees species grow to maturity in 10 -15 years. So when taking one tree, you can plant two to replace. That should be the thinking, because If you dont cut trees what are you going to cut?

Trees are used for so many things, furniture especially, is there anyone without furniture in their house? Or roofing and other things used in different construction works. By unplanned stopping of forest utilization, many people's livelihood will be taken out.

The expression Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), is a globally accepted tool used by environmental experts to systematically assess the cause-effect relationship between development activities and environmental sustainability as man continues his widespread and almost unabated development of his immediate environment.

Dr. Benard Omoyeni is the Author of the renowned EIA book titled: Principles and Application of Environmental Impact Assessment, a book that is widely circulated among the tertiary institutions of learning in Nigeria and accepted for sales on Amazon.com

Celebrities / 5 Principles Of Successful Marriages by MikePhilly(m): 1:08pm On Dec 04, 2021
Godspowerproject2021.

Marriages happen everyday across the world, especially on Saturdays in Nigeria, and as the Bible clearly states "he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord". It's safe to say Marriage is a spiritual contract of sorts since two become one flesh.

The intention of God towards marriage has been and remains dominion and fruitfulness. Giving glory to Christ and the church's concept of marriage, Prov14v12 helps us understand there are Pathways to everything, including a successful marriage- yours will never be a way of death

There are dangerous ways and there are goodly blessed ways. That's why it's good to look both ways especially as it has to do with our relationships. There's nothing so mystical or magical about marriage. All it entails is

They are not to scare or bombard you, here are the
5 Principles of successful marriages

1. Build our marriage on the Word, Power and knowledge of God- what is this? It's Jesus
Eph5v22/25.2. If you don't love her, submission will be difficult. Affection brings about attention. God grant us the grace to shower love on our spouse. Do not open your home to malice. Hatred and malice blocks access to God's blessing.

2. Submit to your spouse
Let the husband be the head of the home- dont ever look down on him for whatever reason, physical, financial or environment reason. Silver and Gold belongs to God.

3. Always exercise diligence in the use of your tongue prov18v21. Ec5v6- always guide your tongue. Let your statement be backed by scriptural evidences. Marriage is always for better for excellence. Prov4v18.

4. Do not embark on any project without prayer
Jer.33v3. Let your prayer alter become hotter. This will help your marriage grow spiritually.

5. Decide spiritually who influences your marriage- Heb6v12. The family of Bishop David Oyedepo is a beautiful example to follow.

Congratulations to Funmi & Steven, the 11th couple to be married at Living Faith Church- Area59, (under the Pastoral oversight of Pastor Ajibola Abimbola)- where these 5 principles were collated from!

Kindly add yours as the Spirit inspires
