FamilyRe: Nigerian Men In USA, Killing Their Imported Wives From Nigeria. by mikolo80: 3:41am On Oct 16, 2016
FortuneTeller:
I am sorry to inform you but many women here, including Nigerian women, do not give their husbands access to all of their money. They may pay bills jointly and put some money into a joint account, but it will not be the entire amount. I have seen this cause serious problems as some Nigerian men feel they should have control over all the woman's money, even if he earns $12/hr and she is earning $31/hr. You cannot maintain traditional family roles if your wife is breaking her back just as hard as you to earn a paycheck. The husband has to help with household duties. The husband has to help with rearing of the children. The husband has to understand he does not have free reign to cheat on a hard working woman and expect her to remain still. When that does not happen, problems arise. Next the husband will be shouting the woman changed once he took abroad. Of course she changed! Her role in the family changed and she must adjust to it. Nigerian men do not want to make the adjustment. Please understand this is not to say all Nigerian men are behaving this ways. Naija guys are truly the best when it comes to many things. However in the matter of marriage, there are SOME Nigerian men who cannot handle the necessary changes when living in a western society.
then why did the women marry them? Is not by force

Honestly there's nothing wrong.. And getting the luxuries themselves thru hardwork and resilience should be commendable by the men.. At least we are not leeches, looking to suck every blood out of a guy's bank account.. So what the heck are their problem?
They complain if their wives who is not working asks for money you lie
We complain wen you pervert more than our pockets

They still complain and grumble when they meet a successful lady, who pays her own bills herself.. we complain wen you don't do your wifely duties
It amazes me sha, back then Ooo. But not any more.

smileyYou can but your request is coming in late.. am already dating a younger guy, who believes in me, trust me completely and he couldn't believe am still available when we met, smileyEven till today, he chips it in, once in a while.. When we go on dates, older guys stare at him angrily, lol...he has gotten use to the stares.. He's no longer bugged about it... cheesy grin
It's good for someone to have a companion who truly cares .. It's a good feeling.

Thank God you are sincere about it.
Before I use to think, there was something wrong with me. Someone suggested I may have a spiritual husband, lol but I said have never dreamt of a man sexing me in dream. Another said I have very high expectations.. I laughed again, cos I know I have simple tastes and am not waiting to marry dangote nor his sons.. People come up with different excuses and reasons. After a while I sat down to study my past relationships and dates.. And the reactions that follows every withdrawal and breakups.. I then saw the truth.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with me, at least am not perfect but my mistakes are simple mistakes we make everyday as a human being.
I looked at married men and the kind of wives they end up with..and their mistresses outside the home.. I simply watch and study and I got the answer to all the questions in my head, of why there are lots of single successful ladies everywhere.

Ladies who are still single, successful and good at heart.. Nothing is wrong with any of u.. Simply be the best u can be, and trust me a guy who deserves your goodness will notice and want to be with u for life. He can be younger, he can be way older like dad's age ...not to worry... Simply choose.. . But don't let the age of the young man discourage you, as long as he has prospects and he's hardworking with a job.. You guys are good to go.

As a Nigerian woman living in the America, I know this is rarely about a woman trying to oppress the husband. It is about Nigerian men wanting to live by the same rules of Nigeria. Do you expect a woman making $31/hr to hand over her paycheck to her husband in the name of respect? Do you think a woman earning her own income has to put up with a man cheating and bringing STIs to her front door? It may be ok in Nigeria, but it won't be ok in the US. Nigerian women do not have to suffer through marriage under US law. They do not have to be mistreated by their husbands in the name of false respect. Respect goes both ways, but SOME Nigerian men cannot handle this. It doesn't matter if he brings Ifeoma from the village. When she realizes she is contributing equally to the marriage, she will request equal respect as a human being.
then why don't they stay in Nigeria
Why pretend
Why not do contract marriage and buy yourself out of it instead of deceiving the guy
Anyway it's the guys I blame for choosing wrong spice

That's why there are lots of successful single ladies out there, most men are not willing to marry them.. Their success is a total turn off for most Nigerian men.. not their success
Their non domesticness
Even though when the men know, these successful ladies are good wife materials, how can
When they refuse to cook or clean or fork
Instead challenging man upandan

they will turn a blind eye, and marry a graduate or even school drop out they feel won't make head way in life financially.. they are domesticated
That's what all men want
Only broke lazy guys look for made women to be collectiNG money from them

Thank God, younger guys are now getting married to older successful ladies..
That's the reality we face in Nigeria and even Nigerians abroad..
What a mentality amongst our men. just watch and see what these young guys will take these girls eyes to see
You can't cheat nature
Basically poor guys should not get married

This post is the real explanation for why Nigerian men murder their wives in the US. They don't want to give equal respect to women as human beings.
why didn't they equally pay the ticket and the green card and the nurse training. This is psychological rape to guys.
FamilyRe: Nigerian Men In USA, Killing Their Imported Wives From Nigeria. by mikolo80: 2:56am On Oct 16, 2016
FortuneTeller:
And this is why Nigerian society cannot progress... No one wants to be under your foot! Women have the same emotions as men. You should be helping each other and respecting each other. Once women obtain equal rights, they exercise their right to having equal respect as a human being, not as a slave to a man. No one is going to wear shackles when freedom is given to them. The Nigerian mentality is crippling to our society.
then why didn't you go to the freedom on your own. Why chop his money and green card and then make him homeless childless and penniless and you think every guy will be looking. He's already dead. Might as well take you with him as a warning to other gold diggers

but come oo...

why will a naija boy leave all the many naija single babes whom are based in same abroad with them; and come back to Nigeria to pick one Adanna/Yemisi/Aisha etc for a wife? is that not madness?
cos if you talk 10 dem go talk 10 000

in this 21st century that most ladies see a man as an ATM machine?

better still marry a white girl.. huh huh huh huh
white girl no go gree come naija with your children
i think its foolishness and medicine after death to kill or fight an african woman that u brought from the village to abroad..?

gone are the days that they say when a woman is married she leaves her family behind to join & prosper the man`s family. These days they carry their own family cross first before the husbands cross.

Lool. This is quite funny though.
Why?

You can cheat on a Nigerian woman (excuse my stereotyping!!!) and all she would do is cry, seek God's face or at worse, pack out.

Cheat on whitey (just looking at another woman), she would divorce your a.r.ss.e and take everydamn thing!!!
That's if she doesn't kee you.

Guys that choose the whitey know what they really want!!k

When Obama administration appointed Hillary Clinton as a Secretary of State, it wasn't because she was the only qualified candidate for the job, but because of the mutual understanding Obama and Hillary share in terms of ideology to move the nation forward. I put this to you, if these set of people are passionate about Nigerian situation, how come they don't have common voters card? Hence, there is need to know your ministers reasonable enough, not just based on recommendation of some powerful inner cabal.
don't fool yourself
She was being prepared for 2016
Same as he was prepared by godfathers during Kerry election bid

Again, she is not arrogant, she seems to be an honest person that is ready to call a spade a spade. pie is very arrogant
27 years of marriage does not make her a kingmaker

If you are supporting Buhari anti-corruption stand, I see no reason you shouldn't respect this amazing woman for risking everything to safeguard the nation from certain set of people.
what set of ppl
Lastly, if a western president referred to his wife like our president did while sitting beside Angela Merkel. Media will call for his head. But as this is Nigeria, where sentiment is above sense of reasoning. It is normal to relegate our beautiful queens to the kitchen, after all what does a woman know.
that is the west
This is Nigeria
Do you see the difference? West

PoliticsRe: If You Were President Buhari, How Would You Respond To Aisha? by mikolo80: 10:50pm On Oct 15, 2016
PMIcon:
We are aware of how Aisha Buhari spoke against her husband and publicly said she will not support her husband again if he doesn't change his style of leadership- by that she meant that the president's appointees should be people they both know, not a majority neither of them knows personally. (I recall that ex-president GEJ did something similar in the appointment of former INEC chairman.)

The question is: if you are Aisha Buhari's husband and your wife spoke out against you on a global media station, what will you do and how will you respond when asked about it with international news agencies recording your response?

Note
- Your authority as the husband is at stake
- Your judgment as the president is questioned publicly by your wife
- Your wife is mounting pressure on you (or should we say manipulate you) publicly

Yes, she has right to her opinion but so do you.
How will you react if you are President Muhammadu Buhari?

President Buhari's response today when asked what he has to say about his wife's explosive interview on BBC has continued to generate online reactions.

It's a shame Emeagwali is proud that his wife and kid never visited nigeria. The apathy he displays on his country of birth is worrisome. Quite un-nigerian of him. Damn! this guy says he visited africa (probably sudan, ethiopia or another african country) 20 years ago not 20 months ago!

He is an eminent scientist but should not let his achievements get into his head. He should come to nigeria/africa to teach some of this mathematics he talks about all the time. We acknowledge his guruism.

On a final note, a labourer is worthy of his wages. The nigerian government should pay him for the research he conducted on our diminishing resources (). He is entitled to his wages.

We dont depend on government rather we are self motivated from individuals, to communities & beyond.
