Blue3k: For once I'll have to give you credit for making sense. Even here is screaming bloody murder over nothing. They say government being tribalistic but forget the Que Ibo power plant in Akwa Ibom is same type of project describes in this article. The project is private driven with a bit of public sector support. They wailers were complaining then saying Dangote and Sanusi taking over not knowing Mobil Nigeria pulled out first before they stepped in.
Sure it's best to site plant closet to source. Nobody disputes that. NNPC is pretty inept company in litany of ways. At the same time if Nigeria can pipe has to Ghana without crying they should start today with northern Nigeria. The gas pipeline the approve North south is probably how they are feeding these plants. These plants may not appear for a decade like Que Ibo power plant.
The might run into cost problem likr they did in the sokoto IPP. If they don't have available gas they'll have to turn to some more expensive fuel source. In the case of the sokoto IPP electricity is 3 times more expensive. are you minding our ppl they enjoy masturbatiNG to north south symphony not realising that obj didn't do anything for the south same as jonadummy they're all thieves and we are looking at them instead of getting off our keyboards to fix it |

Obi1kenobi: I don't know whether you're high on codeine or something (I hear it's all the rage these days among our Northern brothers), clearly you are low on cheap weed but neither the NNPC, nor the FG is a Northern entity. so why do you continue to mention north and south instead of saying Nigeria is investing in north or is Kaduna not Nigeria again is it not Nigerians that will work there As I said before, the North does not contribute one single drop of oil to NNPC, yet looks to make all the gains in their shameless greed. how is the north gaining from oil almajIri or Boko or polio or poverty or what exactly You keep asking why the South is not building it as if the North is building anything. but you're the one that mentioned north and south now you're back pedalling. no argument hence rudeness due to lack of home training. don't worry I full ground gadagba for your type All that has happened is the worst tribalist to ever hold the Presidency has leveraged his power to ensure all that gains of his failed Presidency goes to the North. it's called politics he's fighting for his people your people sold you into slavery we will use our oil and if you make fem we will genocide with our army The North is more than free to "invest" in its survival: with its own resources. oil IS it's resource get it through your thick skull with small brain it is not your oil it is ours If you're going to exploit the resources of the Niger-Delta, at least have some self-respect and sense of shame and fairness and justice in making sure the South and the Niger Delta in particular are major beneficiaries of their own resources. we're talking survival of the fittest this nincompoop is talking about shame fairness and justice better wake up Oya go and force THEM to have develop your land Yoruba say even mad man go heap ridge towards himself with hoe Abuja is the Federal Capital built with the Niger Delta's oyel money, yet no Southerner can ever be FCT minister. when a whole fisherman was Oga patapata presido, tell me, what single thing did you or your region gain from him Yet, the greedy clowns from up North are ready to die to fill every possible position in NNPC while south south run and hide online and this right here is why north will continue to hammer on south head while all you can do is hiccup on Nairaland the only Niger deltas with balls (Tompolo dem)have all collected their own share and sold you into eternal servitude or DPR or other oil industry parastatals with their kinsmen, despite the fact they're usually less qualified than Southerners and they don't contribute one single drop of oil. less qualified doesn't mean unqualified. so long as they have minimum qualifications I don't know what your problem is. |

Desyner: Mad man. You claimed the north got a 'car' already. My reference to a car was an analogy, dullardino007 bastard you made analogy now you can't follow it. north has car(oil) that just happen to be in your backyard (Niger delta) if I park my car in your garage does that make it yours? fool think before you type |
Politics › Re: NNPC To Establish 4,600MW Plants In FCT, Kaduna And Kano by mikolo80: 11:13pm On Dec 20, 2017 |
Obi1kenobi: Still don't see what that has to do with this thread. NNPC is a state-owned oil corporation and it does no get one single drop of that oil from the North. So you can imagine why some people might feel aggrieved that all these transformative projects are getting sited in the North that contributes absolutely NOTHING to the corporation even as NNPC still fails to live up to its responsibilities in the communities from which it gets its wealth. Why are you people from up North such incurable sectionalists? some countries have no oil yet they have refineries must you have cassava farm before investing in garri or fufu factory. oyinbo don't have cocoa yet they have chocolate factory. I know why they feel aggrieved. what I don't know is why instead of building the refinery or killing all northerners they are lamenting here. lamenting doesn't solve problem. only action will. north is taking action via nnp/govt / politics south is making noise and collecting rice why shouldn't north invest for its survival or thrival who beg south not to give their self brain. continue lamenting, while north is maximising oil loot |

Obi1kenobi: Maybe I'm going senile here, which is unusual for a young man in his 20's, but I can't see anywhere in the article it says the North is "using its resources to build it" or that Federal allocation is building it. Abeg, where you see that one, oga? what is nnpc no be you first mention north south why you no say na your ancestor land make only una clan collect d whole 2 million barrels of oil daily. |
Politics › Re: NNPC To Establish 4,600MW Plants In FCT, Kaduna And Kano by mikolo80: 9:39pm On Dec 20, 2017 |
Desyner: what a stupid question. What stop the northern governor too from building it from their own purse also? Is NNPC for the north or under power ministry ? Aboki ! what an ignorant answer. the north IS using it's resources to build it. it's called federal allocation dummy. did you complain when they built oceanography school for you.? or universities or oil rigs? |
Politics › Re: NNPC To Establish 4,600MW Plants In FCT, Kaduna And Kano by mikolo80: 9:37pm On Dec 20, 2017 |
Desyner: So because the north claims it wants to buy gas the southern resource must be used to build plants for them. That's like a man with jerry can approaching a filling station owner to ask for a car cos he plans to buy fuel. Your mind is dull. you're stupid.they are not asking for the car. they already 'own' it not the south(they are just lamenting cos it's parked in their driveway meanwhile they not using said driveway) . do you prefer the north just steal and loot the oil? |

Desyner: By the time the build, hire and purchase is complete, the north has succeeded in cornering ND's oil again. Why can't this same govt do a refinery the size of dangote to ensure more people are employed down south instead of exporting it raw and sharing the proceeds. what stop the looting southern governors from building refineries or power plants for 60 years?Abi your governors and ministers and senators are northerners.? if they had done this which excuse will north have? instead your governors are using your money to carry woman while you are fighting north for empowering north. |

I don't think you're illiterate, I know you are. will America or India buy all won't 'Nigeria' buy 30 million litres of petrol daily. you're so ignorant you want to cut your nose to spite your face. market is market, foreign or domestic |

Desyner: They haven't learnt anything from the Kaduna refinery yet. Any attempt to take ND resources through hundreds of KM to feed the Parasites will likely be met with resistance again.
By the way, where is the wisdom in privatizing old power plants and then building newer ones under govt parastatals. is called hire purchase. build transfer and operate like buying okada or bus to give driver to be paying small small, let there just be light |

Don't use hypocrisy to compare it with something that isn't even there. it is not about showcasing, it is about the rules and regulations she signed up for. it's like going for beauty pageant and refusing to wear bikini and wondering why you were disqualified. you knew what you were getting into when you applied for law. they all accept to wear black and white whenever they go to court even as somebody pointed out that Cele don't wear black. are you saying there are no Cele lawyers. yes, she can test constitutional freedom but stupid to do it after the fact in a failing country like Nigeria |

In advanced climes Child Protective services will take custody of this child.
Her parents are a disgrace to parenthood. They are no different from parents who smuggle their kids to Italy to go prostitute, They are no different from parents who give their kids enamel plates and push them into traffic to solicit for alms, They are no different from parents who teach their kids how to pick pockets at crusades.
This is unjustifiable, There is no dignity in begging. Not a single justification for such show of shame.
Her useless dad that wants to get Otedola and Linda's attention is probably somewhere playing Baba Ijebu and Lotto, or in one hostel in LASU sucking the brezz of his underaged girlfriend.

PromarkMM: A group of 50 000 people can put together money like N2000 each which will amount to N100 million, build a shopping center that will create more than 5000 jobs.. In a developing area were there are no shopping malls but high population and demand. Also there could be more opportunities for building affordable flats for the workers that would be working in a mall.. There's a lot more we can do for our communities if we can put the little money we have together. We can bring change and eradicate poverty in our neighbourhood's since the government is not looking into these kind of projects to help better lives.
Whats your take on this This. hmm always thought it would take a full page to say this. great summary. once we start building industrial clusters/parks and political parties we're home free |

AnodaIT: No we cannot
What we need is restructuring so that we can make laws specific to a certain socio-cultural area in line with how they live their lives
Take for instance you even manage to get the 100m, someone would stand up and say you should drop something, you say no and next day you see notice of Stop Work, then they quote some useless land use act, prohibition and some other laws.
Or, you set up a committee for the building project, before you know, 10m has gone under over estimated projects.
Your plan cannot work in present day Nigeria is there any country in the world you don't drop something? it's called cost of doing business. so instead of employing 5000 with 100 million you prefer no employment cos somebody asked for 1 million 'tax'? you be genius o yet companies on stock exchange work. it is truly a privilege to watch your mind at work |
