A 30-year-old mechanic, Sani Mohammed, has been arrested by the Niger State Police Command for attempted kidnap of one Stella Agbachi, of Top Medical Road, Tunga, Minna, the state capital.

The suspect who was arrested by police detectives attached to the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the command while trying to escape, confessed to have attempted a series of abductions in different parts of the state, but did not succeed.

Northern City News gathered that the mechanic from Zumba in the Shiroro Local Government Area of the state, said he was desperate to make money to meet his personal needs. The suspect disclosed that he ventured into kidnapping, because he learnt that the crime was lucrative.

“After hearing that kidnapping is a lucrative business where one can make a lot of money, I said to myself: let me try, whether I will succeed. After all, the journey of a thousand miles starts with a step.

“I was planning to carry it out but unfortunately, I found myself in the police net,” Mohammed said.

The suspect said he was not making enough money from repairing cars hence the resort to abduction for ransom.

He also told Northern City News that since he was apprehended by the police, his parents had refused to visit him “because of the shame I have brought upon the family.”

The Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar who disclosed that the suspect also confessed to have attempted to steal a mobile phone belonging to the kidnap victim Agbachi, also told newsmen that “there is no hiding place for kidnappers in the state. We cannot allow kidnappers and other criminals to take over the state.”

According to the police spokesperson, the arrested kidnap suspect will be arraigned in court when investigation have been concluded by the State Police Command.

*Almost everyone around me and her were aware of the stuffs my girl did to me. Not quite long after the stuffs she did she died. So most fingers were pointin at me.
When I got arrested, I told them the truth that I commited the act.


*When it comes to money, I always try to keep my male frinds aside due to the experience I've had with some of them.
Some will borrow money from me and refused to refund. Some I'll sent to buy me stuff and when the bought the refused to give me back my chance some don't even buy it.
Secondly, my girl was the only person I trusted so much because she has displayed to me that she was trustworthy. So I put everytin in her care.

My girl only went to check on him.


*When my dad died, we all belivd he died of stroke since he had stroke. We didn't suspect any other thing and we buried him that same year.
No autopsy was carried out since we belivd he died of stroke.

The reasons I concluded that my girl did the act are:

1. She was told me once or twice that I will die the way my dad died. Though I didn't really get the message she was passin.

2. What she did to me after all I've done for her. I belivd if she can do dat to me, then she's cable of doin anytin.


3, When I called her to asked why she killed my dad, her response was a prove that she did it.

Rehab is a good step, but you need to work toward letting go of the hate. The only way to truly recover from this is to fall in love with someone else, someone who will love you back and give you the best of herself. You need to give yourself the chance to feel that.

I ended things with my baby father after this consultation and now have the choice of picking between two persons, Kenneth and Femi. If i decide ending things with Femi, isn't it in violation of what i was told and if i break up with Kenneth wouldn't it be that i betrayed his love and all?.
