My Opinion: I would blame the country's education system. You can't be a CS grad in Nigeria and know shi*t if you don't drill yourself, when even most of your lecturers have never written a production level software in their life or contributed to any open source project. So tell me, how can the students be inspired? Why you see most CS grad writing bug ridden codes, and giving the "WordPress junkies" and their likes the impression that a CS degree is useless. I am not a CS grad myself, I self learn. So, my conclusion is when you see anybody claiming a CS degree is useless just know they don't know jack shi*t. They've never even scratched the surface. |
Give it a try. Good Luck! Loris576: |
Well, before you "be" (meaning jump) into learning Java if you had done any research at all about what you just got yourself into you should know by now Kotlin is the official Android language. Android is Google's so definitely the course will be in Kotlin. Brace up!!! PS. You can follow this link and "play" with the Kotlin Bootcamp. Made by Google Devs, so enjoy ![]() Best! :::::: https://www.udacity.com/course/kotlin-bootcamp-for-programmers--ud9011 |
Nawa o with all this back and forth. But then, Digital Discovery Center is very very possible. But I think it may not be from home. Candidates may be asked to visit their office(s), then all processes will be via Skype or any other platform but definitely real time. Until then, we should be patient. |
Now the long wait.... ![]() |
Nice, the UI is cool. But try and rebrand!!! Romanceland does not sound romantic. All the best! Scot1255: |
Like they stated, the video interview will graded with an AI. So what I feel is, there may be a bench mark and those that got regret mail already may have scored below. And for the rest, may be, after everyone must have done the interview, will be ranked by score nd the best candidates for each function will be invited for DC. This may not be so!. zika2902: |

And how is what you jst typed different frm wht I said? Emmyloyalty: |
Clip as how? You can simply connect your Android phone to you system, click on the play icon and when prompted select your phone from the options. The app will be installed directly to you phone after successful build. You can disconnect and test your app directly from your phone. When it crashes, connect back nd simply check the log cat for possible cause. Make changes and repeat. You can do this after major updates to your code, becos it gets tiring sometimes. But try and check the developer website on how to install your phone drivers before you can use it. Emmyloyalty: |
We don't have to fight about this. If you've done the interview and you feel like sharing your experience there is nothing bad in doing that. And thanta I understand where you coming from, above all everyone is still looking out for himself/herself. So lets share tips, not directly the questions. Give hints, its always enof for the wise. And also for those who care, check the 2017 thread. You will get more than enof tips on there. God help us all. |
Lol. Vast in Android Studio and be doing challenge?? Let me even ask, how much just for participating? |
If you do have your UI designs already you can shoot me a mail. But if you don't, you can still send a mail. We offer prototype and screen design services as well. Thanks. |
Same here too. |
Hi, any heads up on the 20 mins test? Like how many sections nd ws time enough compared with the first test ennyj01: |
So how long does it take to get feedback if successful in the 7mins test? |
Kotlin But you should check online for related articles comparing the two and decide for yourself which you want. If eventually you go for Kotlin, check Udacity for free courses that will teach you from the basics up. Goodluck. |

You welcome. So the counter wudnt go beyond the array length. crownedrookie: |
I dnt use Javascript... But i think this should work. Create a global variable counter and set it to zero. Then in each of the next and previous function calls, increment and decrement by +1/-1 for each click. You can also get the length of the employees array and use an if statement to avoid array error. I hope this helps. |

Would it add extra score to my mark??
