It's your choice to make nobody can practically help you with that.

I'll advice you start with Software Development (if you're good at it, you're good). You can then focus on deploying Software solutions in the cloud (i.e Cloud Computing) and try getting DevOps knowledge alongside.

ProgrammingRe: Cost Of SME Data Sharing App by Millerules(m): 11:24pm On Jun 19, 2022
Send a DM check my profile for WhatsApp ##.

I have a solution in mind and I can help make such app asap.

Mydearlord:
Hello Guys,
I sell MTN SME data,I buy data in bulk from MTN to my phone number and share it in smaller units to people.
I want an app that my resellers can download and use it to share data to their own customers so I can rest from doing it manually.
I also want this app to be linked to Goggle admob so I can earn from the traffic to my app.
I will only sell SME data on this app.Someone asked me to pay him N20,000 for the app and I sent N5,000 down payment but I am very skeptical cos of the costs of apps i have heard.
How much such an app cost me and where can I get it done?

Hightser:
hello devs,

i'm so happy to wake up this morning to see my app in production on playstore.

well, started my flutter journey last year from UX design.
mobile development is way more difficult than web, the challenges are enormous, now i see why web is more popular.

first you need a high budget system / Pc for mobile development, also, imagine waiting for almost two weeks for google to
verify your app before its pushed to production, something you can just deploy a website in minutes and its up and running.

Well, i published a notes taking app to test the waters, one of my major projects, rila studios app is still in development but i think i have a clearer view on how app deployment on playstore works now.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rilatech.bioself

Write and keep notes, stories and keep secret or important messages to yourself with this app securely using email and password, please download and leave a positive review for me. thanks
Congratulations! You can do better. Work on the back-stack as someone mentioned above. I will also suggest working on some unique project. Best!

ERCROSS:
In my opinion, except you are using a dynamically typed language, I would say backend is harder than mobile app development. I consider Flutter to be the easiest mobile app development framework. For you to conclude, in spite of this, that backend is simpler, I guess you are not really a backend dev
Salary can’t be the only judging criteria. If you’ve tried Web (including Backend) and Mobile (Native IOS and Android) you’ll easily find Mobile Dev has a very steep learning curve why most folks dump it along the way and settle for web.

But since you mentioned salary, that of a Full stack Mobile Dev is still more than a Full stack Web Dev.

Its an AI tarot site built with JS. Its has some JS animations, making it super interactive.

Choose 7 cards from the deck below to get your free reading.

Mobile responsive @ mobile phones.

Building was a little bit challenging, cos of the animation.

Major challenge, was how to stop the selected cards from been shuffled and cut. I finally created a cool solution, the rest is history.

Name : Cool tarot

See the home page link https://cooltarot.netlify.app/#

Admin db links https://cooltarot.netlify.app/admin.html

JS, HTML, CSS.

Enjoy AI tarot.

Wish u all the best.

Check the front end & Admin.
Make this an app for IOS and Android, link to a payment system and make cool cash. There’s a market for this in US right I been seeing folks pay for tarot reading lately. If you don’t I will grin.
Also make the UI Mobile friendly.

Best!

How about cloud storage for all debit cards.
Hear me out... You know how you use your debit card for recurrent payments, like a monthly subscription to a service ie (apple music, LinkedIn premium etc...).
But what if you wanted to stop all say “non essential” services from billing that debit card. You would have to remove the card from all the platforms you want to stop making payments to. But how would you be able to track them all down, someone might even be using your card for their own subscriptions.
So I’m thinking a debit card that logs all the sites and services it’s been entered into, onto a remote server so the card holder would be able to see all the services making debits through the card. He might even be able to de-list any service through that remote server preventing it from making further debits grin
Just thinking about this alone I can already imagine the number of APIs and middleware integration it would take to achieve this. Even the legal implications.
Still would be nice if someone tried.
I’ll love to use such service.

I’m thinking if there was a service that provides say an e-debit card with dynamic card pin (use and dumb) linked to a user’s debit card. The service keeps track of where the e-card is used and logs. If the service provides a option to generate multiple e-card pin as required you can simply generate use and if need be go back to your portal deactivate the card as need be. Cool!

Expensive yes, but if you can invest in a Mac Book you'll be good. I sometimes run 3 emulators at the same time on AS without any issue.

I read recommendations online and it says at least 4GB RAM.. So tech Guru should I upgrade my system to 8GB ram do you think it would solve the problem or Is there anything I can do to reduce it from hanging running Android Studio

If you're thinking Kotlin/Java go to Udacity. They've got basic to advance tutorials from Google Developers that you can jump on.

Hello to all developers in the house. Please I wanna be a self-taught android developer. I need developers with experience to tell me the steps and skills needed to be one. Should I learn Kotlin or Java? I need references to free resources online like YouTube links for learning. I use HP Envy core i5 and data is not my problem. Thanks in anticipation.

Have you bundled your app? If not then it's the debug version you are sending to other phones so definitely not going to work.
Etinosa1234:
Please boss spoilerx millerules, I've almost completed my app... But when I send the app from my phone to another, it doesn't install

Why?
ProgrammingRe: Android Developers Pls Help by Millerules(m): 5:57pm On Dec 18, 2020
Try this way. Restore your code back to the last version that worked properly. Rebuild and run.

Now start with adding features gradually. From there you would be able to pin point the error.

Or cut the NavigationView part of the xml code and do a rebuild. Run your app let's see what happens.

ProgrammingRe: Android Developers Pls Help by Millerules(m): 9:35am On Dec 18, 2020
Let's see the menu file you created.

And also leave the tutorial for few hours, go learn the AndroidX Navigation Library in detail then come back to your code. Try and use the library's core functions they make things easier.

In addition try and learn about View Binding (or better the Data Binding class) it makes your code cleaner. This may be much at first, but if you going to learn, learn the right and modern way bcs lots of updates these days.

Etinosa1234:
I tested everything thing in the code and apparently the problem is the bolded

Pls spoilerx, millerules apart from app: menu, what other ways can one use to add options to the navigation view

Thanks

Did you check the LogCat?

It was successful

But the error is not from the code
It’s just that the app refused to run on my phone when I added a support library
