At first, he had tried to stay away but he couldn't stay away from her so long. He had begged her to reconsider her decision but she didn't. And he gave up on her. It had been almost a year before Dolly had come looking for him in the hospital he was having his residency, begging him to return and come back into her sister's life. "Weren't you the one who started this? Your sister decided to put you first. Why are you here?", he had told her. "Please. She's not the same anymore. She doesn't laugh anymore. She doesn't smile anymore. She pretends to be happy but I know she isn't. She's worse than before. All she thinks about is work and me.", Dolly had cried. "Your sister is a grown woman. She made you paramount in her life and I respect that. I can't change her mind. You wanted this. So, live with it.", he had told her and left her standing there in the middle of the hallway in the medical center in her university. He mulled over her words for weeks and actually considered looking for Dola but he chose not to. Teenaged girls were fickle. One minute Dolly might want her sister's happiness the next she might resent the fact she wasn't the centre piece of Dola's attention. And if what happened was anything to go by Dola most certainly had Dolly on the top rung of her hierarchy of priorities. He didn't want to put Dola in that position again. She didn't deserve it. Unfortunately, he didn't realise just how resilient teenage girls were. Dola had employed Eve to join her cause. While Dola nagged him at work, Eve pestered him at home. He eventually gave in to them and let them use him as a pawn in their little plan. They orchestrated a happenstance meeting at the local mall cum cinemas. The two girls pushed them to sit together while watching the movie and while having dinner at the fast-food joint. Dola kept to herself through it all. He was sure he could count on two hands the number of words she spoke to him. They were about heading home when the girls said they had to head to school for an unplanned tutorial. Dolly asked for her sister's car keys and took her car. Dola looked at him then for the first time since they 'bumped' into each other. "Ofere, don't worry about me. I'll take a cab.", she said. "Don't insult me, Dola. I'll take you home. My car may not be as high-end as yours but it does the trick.", he said feigning anger. She looked flustered and blinked for a few seconds. "Ofere, I didn't mean that. I just don't want to bother you. My house is not on your way…" "I have a full tank.", he answered. "Ofere, I thought we agreed to stay away from each other.", she stuttered. "Dola, I'm just being a friend. Please just get in the car.", he answered in exasperation. "No. I'm not. Look, Dolly and I just mended our relationship and I want it to remain that way. If I accept your friendship, I'll have to share my attention and right now there's only room for Dolly in my life. Please, understand. A friend is too expensive for me.", she said. "So what happens once Dolly grows up and gets married or something?", he asked and leaned on the passenger side of his car. "It doesn't matter. If Dolly is happy, then I'm happy. Her happiness is the reason for my existence. My parents lost their lives because of me. The least I could do is make sure Dolly is happy. Ofere, I beg in God's name, don't try to be my friend.", she said in tears. "That's impossible to do." "Why?", she asked in alarm. "Because I always pursue what I want. Be it business, an MBBS degree or the woman I love.", he said and pushed away from the car and towards her. "You don't know what you're saying. I'm sorry but I have to go.", she said and turned away to leave. He caught her arm and pulled her to him. "W-What are you doing?", she asked in panic as she pulled away from him. He locked her firmly with his hands. "Mark today's date down, Ayodola Ibeereola. Come this time next year, you will not only be my friend but also my wife." Her eyes widened as she heard his words. He released her and bade her goodnight and left her standing there in shock and curiosity. He could guess her thoughts. How would he get her to marry him? They were the exact thoughts on his but he knew with a conviction that he wanted to marry her and he'd do it before a year. His ringtone jarred him out of trip down the memory lane. He looked at Dola and stroked her hair. He picked up his cell and walked into the bathroom. "Hello, Dolly.", he greeted. "Good afternoon, bro Ofere. How is she now?", she asked in worry. "I had to sedate her. She was hysterical.", he answered and sighed. "I wish I could take away her pain and sorrow." "Bro Ofere, I was wondering if I could come and stay with you guys for a bit. Maybe if she has someone to spend her time with when you're at work then she wouldn't feel the pain of what happened.", Dolly said. "Okay. I thought you had a fashion show coming up. Won't you be busy?" "The LFW is not as important as my sister. And I can work from the house. I'll come over tomorrow. Don't tell her. Let me surprise her.", Dolly answered. |
oghenekome51:I understand dearie. Congrats on the wedding, love. Happy married life. I'll just ask you give it a chance. |
Ok, I just started reading this and I have to say it's a bomb. Shewrites, I love your work. Bukky Alakara and Beauty and the Mechanic. They were amazeballs. Really. I noticed how this story and Beauty and the Mechanic have a theme in common. Rape. And rape is actually a very sensitive issue for me. All my works somehow portray it and the adverse effects it has on victims. I just got to page six and I couldn't help but comment due to some of the comments I read. First off, I'd like to say anyone can get carried away and forget all the safety rules we chant and say She supposed to have known. I mean Ego probably didn't think Korede could stoop that low and it would be prejudicial to see every Casanova as a potential rapist. I mean I myself would not have seen it coming but I probably wouldn't have been at a party in the first place but that's another issue. Secondly, if she came and came, it was in response to stimuli not because she found herself enjoying it. It's no secret women are moved by the sense of touch. So saying "Women" is kind of rude and crass. Thirdly, not everyone is calm enough after being raped to go to a hospital. Some people need the support. I mean you just stand up from where you were abused and head to a hospital and tell Nigerian Nurses I was raped, flush my womb and all what not. The eye they will give you will make you feel being raped was your fault. And that is why we need to change our orientation as a people. Rape is never the victim's fault. Though it would have helped in the tribunal proceedings if she had a doctor's report on her blood, maybe traces of the drug would still have been found. And on Benson's reaction, what can I say? The eyes can be deceived and I don't think Ego and Benson were close enough to have some level of trust going on between them. Ego shouldn't feel the need to explain things to him. Anyway, Shewrites, awesome job. Love it. And you have a fan in me. |
Not long after Eve had called him back to give him the name of the club and the address. He got changed and left his apartment. He called Dola on his way to her place. He drove her to the club and they dragged her out of the club and he drove them home. As he pulled up in front of their house, Dolly jumped out of the car and stomped into the house grumbling and pretending not to hear Dola calling her back. Her impenitence compelled him to stay just so he could teach her some discipline. Apparently, Dola had spoiled the girl rotten. "Dolly, I'm talking to you.", Dola's weak voice shouted. "What do you want, Dola?", the girl shouted back and Ofere's head spun. How dare she call her mother by her name? "Dolapo!", he said and slapped her. "Show some respect." The girl had fired on as though the slap was fuel to the raging fire in her. "Who are you to hit me?", she fired at him. "You will not talk to your mother like that. Not in my presence.", he shouted at her. "Mother? She is not my mother. How could she be? The first man that shows her attention and she's forgotten all about her little sister. She's not worthy to be called my mother. I thought it was the two of us against the world but it's obvious you don't really care about me.", Dolly hurled and ran up the stairs with tears in her eyes. He turned confused to Dola. She was expressionless and sat on a step on the stairs. He sat beside her in the awkward silence. "This is the first time she called me her sister.", Dola said in breathy sob. "You're sisters?", he asked and she nodded and ran her hands up and down her legs in restlessness. "I was ten when my parents had her. Six years later, my parents died. I raised her on my own and she's called me mum ever since. I… She doesn't see me as her mum anymore and…", she said and broke down into sobs and he hugged her. She sobbed onto his chest for a while and broke away. "I…. Ofere….It will be better if we stay away from each other.", she said. Her words stunned him. "If our friendship is going to affect my relationship with my… with Dolly, then I'm sorry I have to pick my sister. I hope you understand.", she told him as she stood. "You're welcome to stay the night.", she said and went upstairs. He sat there staring into space. The woman he loved had broken it off all because of her sister. He couldn't blame her. It had only been the two of them for ten years. Of course, their friendship of seven months could be foregone. He left the house and went into his car and drove off. At first, he had tried to stay away but he couldn't stay away from her so long. He had begged her to reconsider her decision but she didn't. And he gave up on her. It had been almost a year before Dolly had come looking for him in the hospital he was having his residency, begging him to return and come back into her sister's life. ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Tinu awoke to the sight of Ajiri feeding Zino. She groaned and Ajiri looked up in relief. “Hey.”,Tinu greeted. “I swear you are a trouble magnet.”, Ajiri said in anger. “Whatever. When are the children coming? I’ve missed them so much.”, Tinu said in elation. Ajiri looked at Tinu in wonderment and the realization hit her. “Atinuke Coker, do not lie to me. Did you get into a fight so you can see the children?”, Ajiri whisper yelled as she dropped the bowl of cornmeal she was feeding her child on the cabinet by Tinu's bed. Tinu’s nervous smile answered her. “Are you crazy? What if you were killed or something? Don’t you think…”, Ajiri shouted. “Yes, I don’t think. I don’t think of anything other than my children. It’s been months since I last held them in my arms. Thinking be damned. I may not live to see them grow up. I had to see them if only for one day. When are they coming?”, she shouted back. Ajiri shook her head in exasperation. “They’re on a flight to Lagos as we speak. This week is the week you permitted Délé and his mum to have them.” “No. You’re kidding, right?”, Tinu laughed in disbelief. “No.”, Ajiri said and Tinu cried. If only she had woken up sooner. “I paid someone to beat me up just so I could see them again. Ajiri, I want my children here.”, Tinu said crying. Ajiri was awash with pity. Technically, almost a year had gone by since Tinu last saw the children face to face. If it were her, she’d go crazy. “Can we get Délé to bring them back? Please I have to see them before the trial resumes. If not..”, she trailed off into sobs. “I don’t think that’ll be fair. I mean, this is the first time Délé’s had the children to himself and…” “What about what’s fair to me? If I die…” “Stop saying that. You’re not going to die.”, Ajiri shouted with tears in her eyes. “Now’s not the time for blind Faith. It will take all of heaven's resources to get the judge to declare me not guilty. I need to see my children. I need to hold them and kiss them for the last time. Ajiri, please.”, she said and clutched unto her hand. “Please, from sister to sister, from one mother to another, please bring me my children.” Ajiri sniffled and nodded. “Ill call Dele now.” ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Donald heard raised voices as he passed by Elsa’s apartment. He listened intently and the other voice turned out to be a man’s. Was it Délé’s? They seemed to be in a heated argument. Were they arguing because of Jolá? He sighed as he thought of Jolá, Elsa’s true love. He turned to enter his apartment. It shouldn’t be bothered. He had Lydia. If Elsa was still in love with Jolá then he couldn’t hold it against her. It’s not like that between us. We’re just friends. I don’t feel anything for him. Her words really hurt. But then she never led him on. He decided to fall in love with her. It was his fault for falling in love with her. He had Lydia and she loved him. That was all that mattered. “Jola, I said get out of my house.”, he heard Elsa’s voice shout. “I don’t want to hear any explanations. Just get out.” He could hear the anguish in her voice. His legs led him to her apartment door and he knocked on her door. The voices stopped and he knocked again. “Elsa?”, he called and the door was opened by a teary eyes Elsa. “Donald!”, she gasped in shock. “Hi. Do you need something?” “Are you okay? I heard voices.”, he asked and embarrassment flashed in her eyes. “Donald, this is… I’m okay. Please just go.”, she said and a tear rolled down her left cheek. Like hell she is. He pushed in and past her into the apartment. He ignored her calls and walked straight to the living room where he met a livid Jolá. “Donald, please leave.”, she said. “What sort of man are you?”, Donald hurled at him. “After thirty-two years, you come back and all you do is reopen healed wounds and make her cry. How exactly do you sleep at night?” “Look, this is none of your business. Stay out of this. She’s my ex-wife and the last time I checked you’re just a neighbor.”, Jolá fired. “Jolá abi what are they calling you, I don’t care if you’re her husband. It doesn’t give you the right to hurt her repeatedly. I mean you call yourself a man and yet you hurt an innocent woman time after time again.”, Donald snapped. “Elsa, are you going to let your neighbour speak for you?”, Jolá asked turning to Elsa. “Donald’s my best friend and he speaks for me. Please leave.”, she said and clung to Donald. “Please go and don’t come back.” “Elsa,…”, Jolá called and took a step in her direction and Donald stood in front of her. “Jola, please go away. And don’t come back. If not, I’ll let Dele know what you've done.”, she said and wiped her tears. Jolá walked away and left the apartment. At the sound of the door closing, Elsa sobbed and cried. Donald instinctively wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. “Shhhshhh. It’s okay. Stop crying. He’s gone. He can’t hurt you anymore.”, Donald consoled. |
Loving this more and more. |
Moura7:He should better calm down. Insecurities and jealousy might only destroy what he and Folá have. |
Perryfire:More please |
✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Seyifunmi threw her keys into the tray by the door. It was good to finally have her own place. With Rosanna’s estranged relationship with her father, it was awkward staying at her uncle’s. And she couldn’t bring herself to stay with Délé anymore. Not after he dashed her hopes to pieces. She had actually thought he was serious about the marriage thing. Well, he might have been but she couldn’t get married to a man who didn’t love her. She’d try to stretch what they had as far as its natural elasticity permitted. Once the time came, she’d end things. At least she hoped she would and not be one of those pathetic women who forced themselves on men who didn’t love them. She couldn’t imagine doing that. Yet, somehow she could. She could actually picture herself begging Délé to love her back. She groaned at the feel of tears rolling down her cheeks. Why couldn’t he love her? Are you going for corny? His words rang in her head. Did he see her as being corny for saying how she felt? It actually really hurt. She thought movies and books had overplayed the whole thing. But she was wrong. Not being loved back hurt every cell in her body. Are you going for corny? In what world was that a response to I love you so much? In a world where you allow a man to impregnate your being. Her ego shouted. How could you be so foolish to fall in love without being certain he loved you first? She sighed. Yep. She was a grade A fool. She should wear a dunce cap. If Dele found her boring or wanted to reignite something with Tinú, he could walk away freely and she’d be the one hurt and burnt. How did it happen? She asked herself. Maybe if could trace back how it came to be, then she could find a way to stop feeling so in love with him. I doubt that. Her heart said and she groaned realizing it was true. She loved him so much, she knew it would take a miracle to stop feeling this way. Since when did you stop going after what you want? A voice in her asked. She wanted Délé’s love no doubt but she didn’t want to force it out of him. If a man doesn’t love you freely then what’s the point? What kind of love was that? A knock on the door broke her out of her thoughts. She wiped her face and walked towards the door. She unlocked it and came face to face with the man plaguing her thoughts. “Hey.”, he greeted. “Hey.”, she said and stepped out of the way for him to come in. He walked past her and the fragrance of his body spray made her feel heady. She mentally berated herself and locked the door. She turned to meet him staring at her. “You okay?”, he asked. “Bad day at work.”, she said and padded towards the living room but he put his arm out to stop her. “Horrendous days at work never made you cry before. What’s up?”, he asked in worry. She looked into his eyes and screamed all she wanted to say with her gaze. Please can you just love me back? Please just love me back and feel the same way about me. She shook her head. “Nothing. I cried out of frustration. Nothing big ol' Seyifunmi can’t handle.”, she said and pecked his lips and walked towards the living and flopped onto a couch. She patted the space beside her. “What’s up?”, she said. He looked at her skeptically and sat down. “Are you sure you’re okay?”, he asked. No. “Yes. Tell me. You have something on your mind.”, she said He sighed and said, “Well, the twins will be in Lagos next week. I was wondering if you could join us, that is my mum, the twins and I, for an outing next week. Maybe on Saturday. I want them to get to know you. Even if it’s only superficially.” “Oh.”, she said and stood. She removed her earrings and dropped them on the couch. She walked towards the adjoining kitchen and got a bottle of water out of the fridge. She brought out a cup from a cabinet and poured water into it and drank. “Is that all you’re going to say?”, he asked from where he was sitting. “Are you sure it’s a good idea? I mean what’s the point?” “What’s the point?”, he asked with his brows furrowed in mild annoyance. “What’s the point in asking my girlfriend to meet my children?” “Dele… I… Look, there’s no reason for me to tag along. Am I going to be some sort of replacement mummy for them?”, she said. He stood and glared at her. “Replacement mummy? You know what forget it. It’s obvious you don’t want to meet them. I’m not going to force it down your throat. You were reluctant about coming to Abuja with me the last time. I don’t know why but I want you to know, I can never be with a woman who cannot accept my children.”, he stated and sat. “Is that some sort of threat?” “No. I’m just stating a fact.” Seyifunmi sighed and turned to face the wall. How was she supposed to tell him that she didn’t want to get attached to the children so in case they broke up she wouldn’t be more hurt? What was the point in meeting the children if he had no feelings for her? She thought men only did those sort of things- meet the parents and kids- if they were serious. Maybe Dele was serious but not in love with her. Was that possible? Were the two mutually exclusive? Of course not |
Hi guys... How's the day going? I updated a bit on Divide so you might want to check it out. |
✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Elsa took a sip of the bitter leaf juice in the tumbler and grimaced. She hadn’t gotten used to it despite all of Donald’s promises that she would. She sighed at the thought of Donald. She couldn’t believe a week had gone by and she hadn’t seen him yet. She set herself up for this. Everyone she loved or got close to left her. Her mum, her dad, Jolá, Tinú, Dele and now, Donald. She shouldn’t have left him get close. She took of gulp of the juice and swallowed. She’d forego this stupid drink. If Donald wasn’t there to encourage her, then what was the point? It’s for your own good. She heard his voice ring in her head. She smiled and wondered if she should go over, just to see him and Robert. She shook her head. Lydia might be over there. She’d be the third wheel if Lydia was around. She always faded into the background with Donald if Lydia was present. It’ll just be awkward. It was better to make a clean cut, sever ties and never look back. The twins would be coming over the following week. They would be a great distraction. She remembered the package Dele promised to send over and wondered if had arrived already. He had promised to get her some Chinese detoxification teas. Well, it was time for some exercise. She dropped her cup and stood. “Motunde, I’m going downstairs.”, she said as she stood “Okay ma.”, Motunde looked up from the book she was reading and stood too. She followed Elsa to the door. Elsa unlocked the door and stepped out. Soon, the sound of Omotunde locking the door followed. She turned towards the stairs and continued to go down them till she got to the foyer and reception area. She walked towards the door man. “Mummy, good afternoon.”, he greeted and stood. “Wole, good afternoon. Please is there a package for me. My son said he’d send something.” “No ma.”, he answered. “Don’t worry ma. If the package arrives, I’ll call Omotunde to get it. There’s no need to stress yourself.” “Stress ke. I just wanted to exercise my body.” The boy smiled and said, “That’s good.” Elsa saw a flyer on the countertop and picked it up reading it’s content. “Good afternoon.”, a baritone voice called and Elsa turned to see two men entering the building. She ignored them and continued reading what was printed on the flyer. “Good afternoon.”, Woke answered. “Please, we are police men from Ikoyi CID.”, one said and flashed his identification. “We are looking for Elsa Daramola.” Woke looked nervously from the men to Elsa. Elsa looked up and turned to face them. “I am Elsa Daramola. How may I be of help to you?” “We have a few questions to ask you ma about a crime committed thirty years back.”, the man with the deep baritone said. “What crime would that be?”, she asked with confusion furrowing her brow. The men looked nervously from one to another. The one finally cleared his throat. “Ma, is it possible for us to talk somewhere more… private?” “Okay. We can go upstairs then.”, she told the police men “ Wole, ma gbagbe o.”, she said to the doorman and led the men towards the elevator. ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Elsa couldn’t believe her ears. She opened her mouth and closed it. “Ma, are the allegations true? Did Mr. Ige actually rape you?”, one of the men prodded after several minutes of silence. “I think you should leave.”, she said and stood. “Ma, you don’t have to be afraid. We only need you tell us the truth…” “Are you deaf or something? I said you should leave.”, she shouted at them. They looked at themselves and stood. “Ma, the police is your friend.” “Ehen? I said you should leave. I have no interest in this case. Who even filed this case?”, she roared. “According to our records, the complaint was made by a Mr. Jolá Ige.”, one of the men answered. Was Jolá actually that cruel to want to ridicule her in her old age by making her stand and recount how her brother-in-law raped her? Didn’t he have any compassion? Didn’t he think that courtesy demanded he asked her first before making such a complaint? If she laid her hands on him, she’d rip him apart limb from limb. “Ma?”, one man called jarring her from her murderous thoughts. “Please leave.”, she demanded and pointed out. “Ma, do you really have nothing to tell us?” “Ive been telling you to leave since. Didn’t you hear?”, she roared. They sighed and left the house. |
He walked back to the hall with Ayodola and they got talking. She was an accountant and she owned her own firm. He wanted to ask her age but thought against it. He felt it might offend her. He mentioned that he was into business but his brother was handling the business as he was in medical school. She was impressed that he was pursuing his dream despite his age. He could remember he enjoyed watching her smile and laugh at his jokes. He loved the way her eyes crinkled at the corners when she smiled and laughed. He wanted to ask for her number but before he could Dolly came to drag her mum away for the dinner she promised her. He was bummed he lost out on an opportunity with a seemingly good woman. He didn't meet her again till he helped Eve move into the hostel once she got admission. He had dragged her to lunch together with Eve and Dolapo. He made sure to collect her number before they parted ways that day. He made sure to keep a day free for her, a day he could take her out. She went out with him. While she saw it as a simple platonic friendship, he was bidding his time till he asked her to be his girlfriend. He wanted her to be comfortable with him enough to tell him about her previous marriage. It never came up for the seven months he courted her. He was sad but he was even sadder when and how he found out. Dolapo was in her second year in the university. She didn't get a bedspace in any of the school hostels and Dola was not comfortable getting an apartment or a space for her in a private hostel. Hence, she was going to school from home. He was about climbing into his bed in his apartment in Surulere when he got a call from Dola. "Hello.", he sighed softly as he picked the call. "Ofere, hi. Good evening.", she called with her voice quivering and laden with fear. Panic gripped him and sleep vanished from his eyes. "Dola, what is it?", he asked in concern. "I-I-I am sorry to disturb you. I know it's late but is Dolly over there?", she asked with her voice cracking. "Uh, no. She's not back yet?", he asked in worry as he checked the time on his bedside clock. It was ten minutes to twelve. "No. I… We …. I had a meeting that ended late. I got home late. When I got home, she wasn't back from school. The driver said she told him to go home without her that she was going to read overnight with her friends. I've been calling her since but she didn't answer any of my calls. None of her friends are picking too. Eve too. I hope nothing happened to her. I… We had a fight this morning and…", she managed to say before breaking down into soft sobs. "It's okay, Dola. Give me a minute. I'll call Evie and find out where she is. Keep calm, okay. Maybe she's just angry and she asked her friends not to pick your calls. You know how these teenagers can be. Just be calm. She could probably be in school.", he advised soothingly. "Okay. Please let me know as soon as you get in touch with Eve. Please.", she begged in desperation. "Of course, Dola.", he said and hung up. He dialed his sister's number and she picked up almost immediately. He could hear the mirth in her voice as she spoke. "Hey, big bro.", she said. "Hey, Evie. What's going on?", he said as he laughter booming from the other end of the line. "My roomies and I were gisting. What's up? Did God reveal to you that your baby sis is broker than a church rat? Because I am. Bro Ofere, I'm broke eh. A church rat is like Bill Gates beside me.", she jabbered. He chuckled lightly. "Me gan sef church rat. If you shake me, I swear even Herbert Macaulay will not fall from me.", he said. "Bro. Ofere, don't do like this. If you don't take care of your younger sister, who will?", she whined. "Abeg, baby girl, I will send you something small on Friday. Is Dolly there?", he said. "Ehn….", she drawled in confusion. He heard the slight hitch in her voice before she spoke. "Did you say Dolly?" "Ehnehn, Polly the scarecrow.", he sarcastically. "I know you want to lie so you better tell me the truth." "Bro, I don't know what you are talking about.…" "Evie, if you lie to me, kiss your allowance goodbye. Tell me the truth. She's there, isn't she?", he scolded. "Bro Ofere, I don't want to be a snitch. Why are even asking?", she asked. "I ask the questions, Eve. Where is she?" "Bro. Ofere, she's not. I… She went to a club with some of her former roommates." He sighed in disappointment. "Which club?" "I didn't ask but I can call one of the girls she went with to ask.", she said. "Do that and call me immediately, Evie. Evie, call me.", he said. "Okay. But I still get my allowance, right?", she asked. "Just call me.", he said and hung up. |
Chapter 4 Ofere watched his wife sleep after he had given her a tranquilizer and wondered when it would happen for them. They were faithful Christians. They had prayed, fasted and believed God for the fruit of the womb ever since they got married. All his life, the only woman he had ever loved and wanted to have a family with was Ayodola. She was the perfect illustration of the Proverbs 31 wife. He smiled and remembered how he met her. She had rushed in late for her sister's Valedictory Ceremony. Apparently, her seat was the one reserved next to his. What caught his attention about her was her politeness. As she walked to her seat beside him, she kept on mumbling please, sorry and thank you till she made it to her seat. When she sat she greeted the older woman on her left and then him. The first thing came to his mind was that she was way too young to be a parent. She whipped up her phone and started texting someone named Dolly ❤️. He had smiled and thought women and emoticons. He curiously watched her text emphatically. Dolly ❤️ : Where are you? Are you still coming? Please make it down here. I will never forgive if you don't. Lady: I'm here already. Calm down. Dolly ❤️ : Yippee!!! I love you mum Where are you sitting? Lady: On the twelfth row, counting from the door. On the fourth seat. Dolly ❤️: Ok, I'm coming with my friends. He had looked away before she looked up. She was a teenager's mother? She didn't look above 25. He shook his head and thought she was probably one of those women who looked way younger than they were. He looked at her left hand and saw no ring. She was probably divorced. She seemed nice. But then women could be one thing on the outside and a harpy on the inside. The next he heard was a band of giggling girls coming their way. He turned and saw his sister and some girls. He noticed that one of the girls was waving at him. He didn't know her. She was probably waving because he was her friend's brother so he waved back. "Sorry but she's waving at me.", the woman beside him said softly. "Oh. She was with my sister so I thought…. I'm sorry. I hope you don't think I'm hitting on your daughter.", he apologized quickly. "No.", she said laughing. "Mummy!", the girl he assumed to be Dolly called. "Good afternoon ma.", the girls chorused. "Good afternoon, sir.", they greeted again. "Hey. Good afternoon girls. Happy graduation, Dolly. Happy graduation girls.", the woman said. "Good afternoon ladies.", he greeted. "Mummy, these are Mary, Onyinye and Eve.", Dolly introduced. "It's nice to finally put faces to your names. Dolly has been telling me so much about you guys. I thought you guys were five. Where's Ashley?", Dolly's mother asked. "Ashley had to travel for her campus tour schedule for Monday.", Eve explained. "Mummy, this is Eve's older brother.", Dolly introduced. "You don't say? It's nice to meet you.", she said and extended her hand. "Likewise, Mrs…", he said as he shook her hand. "Just call me Dola. Ayodola.", she said. "Well, I'm Ofere then.", he said. "Mummy, can we take pictures now?", Dolly asked. "Sure.", Dola put in. "Brother Ofere, see. Everyone is taking pictures. Please.", Eve begged. "I don't take pictures, you know that.", he said quietly. "Please.", the girls chorused and Dola joined them. "She won't graduate from secondary school again.", Dola pointed out. "I can't.", he said shyly. "Yes, you can and you will.", Dola said and pulled him up as she stood. "Please, from one guardian to another.", she begged. "Ok fine.", he said and the girls squealed in delight. "Thank you ma.", Eve said. "It's nothing, dear.", Dola said. They walked out of the hall to courtyard. He noticed how Dolly clung to her mum's side. She had to be a single mother. She probably had Dolly as a teenager and luckily for her, she was able to pull herself out of the shame and make something out of herself. They had a photographer take pictures of them. They took close to thirty pictures. Ayodola offered to pay for all the copies of the pictures but he turned her down. She argued with him till they both decided to split the cost. She gave the girls money to get some barbecue and ice cream being sold in concessions stands. |
Hi guys Thanks for letting me know what you think and how you feel. It's been taken into consideration. But I'd like to know.... Do I continue with Divide or book two of Ocean of Secrets? I wanted to make Divide a trilogy as well but I decided not to bite off more than I can chew. It's going to be a stand alone. So here are the judging criteria... If I continue with Divide, you don't find out what happened to Chris till I'm done ori he gets back with Tinú. Divide is a stand-alone book but might be as long as thirty chapters. Ocean of Secrets still has two more installments, though they might not be as long as this first one. If I continue with Ocean of Secrets, there's a possibility that we might not get to continue Divide till late in the year. So let's vote. P.S. I'm sorry if I offended any Divide fans. Really, I was just bouncing an idea off you guys and you don't know how happy I am you liked it. I solemnly promise to complete it no matter what. Or at least give you access to the completed version once it's available. Thank you so much for all the love and support, guys. You've made me a different person and I won't forget it. Love y'all bucketloads. Please let me know what you think on time. |
✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Rosanna turned her face away as Dare made to kiss her. He looked at her face and she resisted the urge to slap him. She glared at him and realisation filled his honey brown eyes. How could he double-cross her like that? She thought they were on the same page about their elopement. Then he turned around and stole her passport by proxy. It just wasn’t nice. To think she believed her father took her passport. “How could you?”, she said. “Rosanna, it wasn’t right. Leaving like that. I’d kill any guy who does something like that with Gwyneth. If I can’t stand my sister eloping, I doubt your father can.”, he said and held her hand. “Rosanna, I love you so much but I don’t want to cause a rift between you and your father.” “Don’t bother trying. There already is. I thought he took my passport. I said some hurtful things to him and I doubt he’ll ever forgive me. I can’t even forgive me. I just wanted to hurt him, to make him feel bad like I was. But I crossed the line.”, she said and groaned as she walked over to a couch. “I don’t think he’ll never forgive you. He might be mad but he’ll come around.”, he said and sat beside her. She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder. “Why does it feel like we’re not meant to be together? Like every time we want to take the next step, something happens. Are we star-crossed or jinxed?.” “No, of course not.”, he said and held her hand. She sighed in disbelief. “Remember the day we first met.” He felt the smile on her face before seeing it. “How can I forget it? I thought I had died and I became a character in a Mills and Boons novel.”, she said and looked at him. “I thought you were some sort of demigod. I couldn’t stop staring at you.” “I know.”, he said smugly and turned to face her. “Y-you knew?”, she said with her jaw slackened. “Everyone in the elevator noticed.”, he teased and she covered her face with her hands. “God!”, she groaned in embarrassment and Dare laughed as he pulled her closer to him. “The guys named you my biggest fan ever.”, he explained. “The next time I saw you, you walked passed us like we weren’t there.” “Well, after the long elevator ride I came to my senses. A guy like you would never like a girl like me. Seyifunmi said half your class was courting you. I decided to pretend you didn’t exist. When you asked me out on a date, I thought you were kidding or playing a practical joke, so I kept on saying no.”, she confessed. “Thr guys thought I had lost my mojo and challenged me to go out with you. At first it was all about stroking my ego but then later, I realized you were 'the one’ and I wasn’t going to lose you. Never. Not because of my mistakes, not because of your dad and certainly not because of ill-fate. Rosanna, I’ll rewrite the stars for us to be together.”, he said with his eyes boring into hers. She smiled softly and hugged him. “I love you, Dare.” “I love you, Rosanna.”, he said and stroked her back. “This issue with your dad is just a temporary setback, a momentary loss. We’ll make him see that we ought to be together, that we have to be together. And we’ll be together with his blessings, whether he likes it or not..” She snuggled closer to him and tightened her hug. “Thank you, Dare.” ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Folá’s heart skipped a beat as he watched his brother enter his study. Cold sweat spring out of his pores. The glare in his brother’s eyes was enough for Folá to know the purpose of his brother’s visit. Jolá stalked to his desk and lean on it. “I wonder what you have planned concerning the DDA.”, he said. Folá swallowed as he heard the squelching sound of his reputation rolling in the mud. “Jola, calm down.” “Fola, order a nolle prosequi. You can do it. Save yourself, your family and your reputation. I heard from Funlola that Peju is sick. It would be too much for your family if you are arrested as well. Order the nolle prosequi. Better be branded a nepotist and corrupt than a rapist.”, Jolá advised with his voice laced with anger and reproach. “I wonder what your daughters will think when tell them their beloved father is a rapist.” That was the last straw. Folá couldn’t help the anger in him. It was one thing to threaten his reputation. Another to threaten his image before his daughters. “Jolá, stop hanging this over my head. There’s no guarantee that if I order the nolle prosequi that Délé will forgive you. I may have raped Elsa but you threw her out of your house with your son…” “Because you made me believe she seduced you, you bastard. How dare you say that to me?”, Jolá shouted. “Jola, look I have bigger problems than your dysfunctional relationship with Délé. Peju is fighting for her life and…” “I couldn’t care less if she died…”, his words were interrupted by a heavy blow dealt to him by his brother. “Enough of all this. If you want to file charges go ahead, it will be lack of corroborated evidence against my words. All everyone will see is a foolish man looking for ways to get to the son he abandoned. Stop blaming me for your stupid mistakes. I slept with your wife but you chose to believe me over the woman you claimed to love. It is not my fault you were so stupid. Jolá, I am sorry I hurt Elsa. If I could undo it, I would. But you are the one responsible for the terrible relationship you have with your son, not me. So don’t ask me to fix it.”, Folá shouted. “Everyday, I see you for the monster you are and I find myself hating you. I will press charges Folá and I will ruin you. I swear. It will be the sole purpose of my existence.”, Jolá promised and turned to leave. He pulled open the door and met a shell-shocked Funlola. He ignored her and walked out of the room. |
Khriztarl:Yes. A series. |
I've never been more glad for it to be a Monday. Thanks for the update, love. Is it possible we get more? |
Hi guys, how are you doing? Sorry for not updating but truth be told... something is wrong with me. I don't know if it's laziness or lack of inspiration or I'm just tired of writing Ocean of Secrets. It has to be my longest work ever. Rant aside.... I wanted to ask your opinion.... So do I continue writing the book progressively till Tinu's trial resumes or we fast forward to three months later and reveal what happened along the line via exposition and dialogue. Please let me know... Love you all. Have a beautiful and successful Monday, peeps. |
Hi. Is it possible to get Writing the Christian Romance by Gail Gaymer Martin |
✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Elsa kept on going through channels looking for something interesting to watch. The only things airing were music videos and news. She looked up at the clock and wondered why her favorite telenovela wasn’t airing. She sighed in boredom. She missed Donald. Ever since Lydia came into the picture she had been slowly losing him and now he barely remembered she existed. Well, it’s all for the best. She decided to stop missing him. If he got married, it would be like this. He’d spend more time with his wife. Maybe God just brought him into her life to save her from her depression. She wondered what her life would have been like if Donald hadn’t found her when she was having a cardiac arrest in the elevator. Maybe his purpose in her life had been fulfilled. She put off the television and pulled out her Bible from underneath her. You could never go wrong with God’s word. The doorbell rang and she called out for Omotunde. She called out again but no response came back. She then recalled that Omotunde had gone to the market. She dropped her Bible and went to get the door. She met a delivery man at the door. “Mummy, good afternoon. Please, I’m looking for Arinze Nwatu.”, the man said. “Good afternoon. There’s no Arinze Nwatu here.”, she replied. “Sorry ma but the people at the door told me flat 301.”, the man said and took off his facecap and scratched his head. “Im sorry. Maybe there was a mixup. There is no Arinze Nwatu here. Maybe you call the number on the package.”, she said. “Mummy, are you sure?”, the man insisted. “At my age will I not know who is living in my house? I said there is no Arinze here. Good day.”, she said and slammed the door. Good riddance. Arinze ko, Arinze no. She walked back to the living room and picked up her Bible. She sighed and tried to calm herself down. She flipped open the chapter she last read and was about to continue reading from where she stopped when the doorbell rang again. She hoped it wasn’t still the delivery man. She dropped her Bible and walked to the door. She opened it and met the unruly face of the delivery man. “Mummy, abeg, no vex.”, he said hastily. “Na me make mistake. The package is meant for a Mr. Donald Banire.” “That is his flat over there.”, she said and pointed at the door. “Okay ma. Thank you ma.”, he said and proceeded to knock on Donald’s door. Elsa stayed rooted to her feet wanting to get a glimpse of Donald. She hadn’t seen him since the day Robert was found. Donald’s door opened to reveal Lydia. A part of Elsa was crushed on seeing the woman open the door. “Hello Elsa.”, Lydia hollered and waved her hand. Elsa caught a glimpse of a silver band on the woman’s ring finger and hoped it wasn’t what she thought it was. “Hi.”, she replied and shut the door. God, please, help me. She didn’t want to feel the jealousy she was feeling. It was so much easier thinking about Donald getting married but seeing the reality of the ring made it clear she wasn’t ready to eat two wraps of pounded yam at his wedding. She felt dejection creep into her and she hated it. She didn’t want to feel this way. She rested against the door and cried. God, please, help me. Only He could help her. She sighed and wiped her tears. She took a few steps then the doorbell rang again. She wiped her face and returned to the door. She pulled it open and saw those eyes. They were aged but still the same eyes that haunted her for years. Suddenly, she wasn’t at flat 301 anymore but in Jola's rented apartment, thirty-two years ago. She wanted to claw at him, to gouge those eyes out, to hit him, to ask him why of all women he had to choose her. Why was he here? To apologise? He was thirty-two years too late. To sample her again? She shuddered at the thought. “Elsa, please, don’t turn me away.”, he begged. If she hadn’t once begged Jolá before with the exact same words, maybe she wouldn’t have recognized the desperation in him. She wanted to say a lot of things. She wanted to curse him, to insult him, to ridicule him. But what had all her curses in the past amounted to? He was a celebrated lawyer, happily married with four children. Her insults? No one wanted to listen to the woman who dared to defile the bond twin brothers shared by sleeping with them. Her ridiculing words? Everyone felt she was one to talk. The woman her husband had branded a prostitute. She wondered why he did what he did? Why he had to come that night? He could have gone to any brothel or sort out any LovePeddler. Why did he have to come and ruin her life, rendering her to a life of sadness, pain and solitude? With all the pain she felt even from thirty-two before, she slapped him. A tear rolled down her cheek. “Go away.”, she said and slammed the door in his face. She quickly turned the lock twice and bolted the door. “Elsa, please.”, he called. She shut her eyes and remembered how she had begged him that night, how she had pleaded for him to show compassion. “Elsa, in the name of God, please.”, he cried and banged the door. She shook her head. He didn’t get to use the name of God. Not him. She walked away from the door and into her room. She fell on her bed and wept. She thought that with all the years that have passed, she’d be able to forgive him. She had told herself several times that she would but then today, she realized the painful truth. She couldn’t forgive him. You can’t? “No.”, she sobbed. “You know what he did to me. You know how he ruined my life.” Mopelola, from the way I see things, you crave this bitter lump of pain so much that you refuse to let it go. No. I’d do anything to take it away. Anything except to forgive him? Forgiveness is the only thing that can take it away. Daddy, please just help me. Just take it away. I don’t want to offended anymore. Please. It hurts badly. Then, forgive him. Once you do, I can begin to heal you. I can’t. I don’t know how to. He ruined my life. How do I begin to forgive him? It’s funny how you can say someone ruined your life when you did the exact same thing to Tinú. She forgave you. I forgave you despite the fact that your acts started the chain of events that has driven Tinú's soul far away from me. I forgave you because I love you. Yet, you find it difficult to forgive Folá. You are exactly like the unforgiving and ungrateful servant in Matthew 18. Mopelola, you claim to love me but you keep not my commandments. |
Nice one. Reminds me a lot of Umbrella Academy |
Oya continue na. Please |
sochey:Blind Alpha. I feel they over dragged the thing. I got bored when they went to visit the girl's parents |
Chapter 27 Ireti stared as Tinú as she grabbed another batch of cane for the bag she was weaving. She had been weaving since dawn. Ireti guessed it was due to fast approaching trial date. Her hands worked deftly and with dexterity as she passed lines of raffia over and under. “Tinu, shey na today you wan make everything?”, an inmate asked. Tinu looked at her and smiled weakly. She barely said anything these days. “Chineke me o!”, one lady shouted as she picked up a centre spread of a newspaper. Tinu stopped for a while and looked at the woman. “They want to kill us like hens.”, she shouted and waved people over. Tinu went over to satisfy her curiosity. She managed to squeeze into the throng huddled over the woman who had cried out. She managed to read the headline of the article the woman was pointing at. “Wetin happen?”, a blind lady called as he moved her head from left to right trying to hear what was happening. “Frances, calm down.”, Ireti said as she left the group to hold the blind lady. “She said they want to kill us. Why?”, Frances asked in trepidation. “Nkiru wetin dem talk nau.”, a woman shouted. The woman who had cried out was too paralyzed with fear to read out. Tinu grabbed the centrespread in anguish and read aloud. “The New Death row Dissolution Act: A threat to the lives of inmates. On the sixteenth of May, the National Assembly passed the most life threatening act ever passed in the history of Nigeria. The Death row Dissolution Act aka the DDA or as some human rights activists have put it the government’s expression of its opinion on the value of human lives in incarceration. The short act was assented to by the president on the sixteenth of May and comes into force on the tenth of July. It provides in section four that all death sentences issued in all courts of competent jurisdiction shall be carried out within twenty-four hours except a stay of execution is filed for immediately. It goes contrary to the provisions of the Constitution in section 246(1) ( e ) which provides that appeals shall lie as of right to the court of Appeal from decisions in any criminal proceedings in which the Federal High Court or a High Court has imposed a sentence of death. Many activists have pronounced the act inhumane and unconstitutional and a case is set to be brought against the National Assembly challenging the validity and unconstitutionality of the Act. The Federal High Court has refused to grant the injunction filed for by Life is Precious association and the appeal is still pending. The National Human Rights Commission has been quiet since the bill was tabled before the president. One can only wonder how this brouhaha will settle and if the DDA will survive the criticisms as to it’s validity.” Tinu finished and the centrespread fell out of her hands. Wails upon wails were heard. Curses at the government were sobbed out. Lamentations and weepings filled the hall but none jolted Tinu out of her daze. She rubbed her neck as she felt a noose around it. For the first time her death had never been more sacrosanct. She had deluded herself all this while with the hope that she could appeal a death sentence but now this was the last hope. If she lost at trial there was little to no hope that she’d live. She roared as she realized it had been close to two months since she last heard from her children. She wondered how they were. She wondered what made Felicia not to come along with evangelism group anymore. Was she okay? Her thoughts flowed back to her three children. She couldn’t remember the last time she saw them or held them. It was the hospital. Her heart raced as her brain came up with a plan. If she got herself back into the hospital then maybe she could see them. Even if it was for the last time. She thought about slashing her wrist. No. It would be too dangerous. If she wasn’t found on time then she’d hasten her death. No, she had to get someone to beat her up. To beat her badly enough that she had to go to the hospital. But who would? It had to be someone who didn’t care about consequences or someone who could do anything for money. Aliya. She knew if she paid Aliyah well enough to, she’d beat her into a coma. Tinu smiled and ran out of the hall. She ran into the kitchen and found Fiza, the illegal cellphone operator. She walked close to her and brought out money from her bra. She handed it to her and said, “I need to make a call.” ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ |
✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Elsa’s hand was stretched out to touch Donald but she quickly withdrew it. His mood had been mercurial for the three days Robert had been missing. Lydia was even afraid to be a couple of feet around him. She watched him pick him the missing posters he had printed and the glue bucket and continued walking. He got to another notice board and pasted the poster again. He looked emaciated. He probably hadn’t eaten anything since that evening he came back. She couldn’t stand seeing him this way. She wished she could wave a magic wand and he’d appear. She shook her head and turned to head back home. She was tired. Elsa trudged towards the apartment building exhausted and wondering what Omotunde had prepared. Maybe she’d take some food to Donald later. She heard a weak bark come from the hedges by the gate. Her heart leapt with joy and she said, “Robert” A yip replied her and she ran into the apartment building to get help. She saw Mr. Agbe at the reception discussing live scores with the new door man. She dragged him out to help her get Robert out of the hedges. She showed him the spot where she heard the bark from. The man bent and saw Robert there and he rushed back in to get some shears. Son he returned and cut out a passage for the dog and he limped out. Elsa looked closely at the brown dog and noticed one of his forelegs was broken. “Robert.”, Lydia called in shock. “Yes. I don’t know how he got in there. Where is Donald?”, she asked. “He’s pasting the last of the posters.”, Lydia answered. “I’ll go and call him. Mr. Agbe, come and borrow me your phone.”, Elsa said and dragged the man back in. The man went into the staff room and brought out his cellphone. She dialed his number repeatedly but he didn’t pick. She sighed and returned back out and met Donald hugging Lydia. “Hey.”, she greeted smiling. “Look, Lydia found Robert.”, Donald said as he broke away from Lydia. Elsa’s ears tingled at his words. Did he just say Lydia found Robert? “What?”, she asked. “I know right! Where did you find him, Lydie?”, he asked as he knelt to examine Robert. “Oh, that doesn’t matter. What matters is that he’s back with us.”, she said cowering under Elsa’s appalled look. Elsa shook her head in disgust. As old as she was she could tell a lie just to be in Donald’s good books again. Elsa decided not to be too judgemental. At that age, one wouldn’t be prepared to lose whatever companion one found. “Well, I’m tired. I will see you all later.”, Elsa put in and went back into the building. ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ “Fola, what did you do to Délé’s mother?”, Funlola shouted at her husband as she followed him out to the living room. Folá handed his briefcase to the police side attached to him and asked him to wait by the car. The aide nodded and left the couple to their argument. He turned to face his wife and glared at her. “Woman, mind yourself. Did you tell me you were going to Délé’s? No. But when he gave you some stupid excuse, you are coming to disturb me. I don’t have time for this. Rather than fight go and pray or stay with your daughter.”, he put in. “Mister AG Fed, ma gbe n yen wa rara. Are you hearing me, Folajimi? Don’t bring that one this morning. I’ve been married to you long enough to know when you’re deflecting. So don’t try to turn this on me. If you know what is good for you, you better tell me the truth. If not I’ll go to Délé’s mother and find out. And by then, nkan ti a se t'ile fi j'ona, the whole country will know.”, she shouted at him. Folá shuddered inwardly at his wife’s threat. He glared at her and left the room. “Folajimi, you are walking out on me? You’re walking out on me? Okay. Oku iya e l'oro to n wa nle, o mm pada wa sin. Do you hear me?”, she shouted at his back. ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Rosanna stomped towards the terrace in rage and snatched the newspaper out of her father’s hand. How dare he? She knew he was responsible for her missing passport. She never thought he could stoop so low. He decided not to give his blessings but he had no right to steal her passport. “Have you gone mad?”, her father asked as he stood. “Where is my passport? I know you took it. Where is my passport?”, she said in anger. Her father shook his head and his wife stood too. “Rose, please calm down. Your father did not take your passport.”, the woman said calmly. “I know he did. He’s never cared about my happiness. All he cares about is his pride and his own happiness. Rosanna takes the back seat. I don’t want your love anymore all I want is my passport.”, Rosanna shouted. “I didn’t take your passport. You’ve made it clear you’re a dog bound to get lost and refuses to hear the hunter’s whistle. Why will I stop you? You want to elope. Go ahead and do so. You’re your mother’s daughter. You’ve proven that.”, her father said calmly. Every word was a whiplash on Rosanna’s heart. She couldn’t let him hurt her like that and get away freely. She had to hurt him back. “And you were never a father to me. In fact, you’re a pitiful excuse for a father and a husband. In fact, I am I chose to stay with mum and I’m glad she let you go. You’re a disgrace.”, she hurled with anger and venom. She didn’t anticipate her father’s reaction. She didn’t think he’d slap her so hard, she thought her neck cracked. She raised her hand to cup her stinging cheek and she flipped her hair out of her face. She met her father’s glare anger for anger, rage for rage, hurt for hurt. “Well, I’m the father you’ve got. And you will talk to me with respect.”, he snapped. His wife held his arms and pleaded with him to rein in his temper. “I hate you so much. And mark this day. It is the last day you will ever set eyes on me. Even at your funeral, I won’t show up.”, she said and spun to leave. “Rosanna, wait. I’m the one who took your passport.”, her father’s wife shouted. |
sochey:About excerpts, They can either make or mar the chapter for me. I don't really like it. I prefer female characters, I can relate to them. Male characters can be nice but then they are not really the MCs in romance which is my favorite genre. I also read fantasy but then I think I'm kinda sexist and I prefer female MCs in fantasy as well. I tried reading Inheritance Cycle. I got bored with Eragon's point of view and stopped at the beginning of the third book. About fighting back, I feel it depends on the entire plot. Romance all the way. And maybe a little fantasy, once I get the hang of showing not telling |
Timson01:That if you can get something free why pay for it? Honestly, I don't blame guys. Girls get easily carried away. |
I swear I feel like beating the living daylights out of Keren and Jasmine. Why is Jasmine so disrespectful? Could it be that David is not her biological father or something? |
Culin, you have to be the most wicked person I've ever met. Really? Like seriously? Come on. That didn't reach the back of my throat let alone satisfy. Please, a little more. I've been waiting for an update since morning and I am not filled with that. Please. |
