From a professional perspective, I will encourage him and his siblings to go make inquiry at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro, Abeokuta which I believe is the closest to Ibadan (probably cheaper in terms of treatment cost) and see how their mother can be taken there and admitted for detoxification, psychotherapy and rehabilitation, though I know she will vehemently resist leaving her home for such and that is expected, reason most of the patients only wake up to find themselves on a bed in a psychiatric hospital's ward.

They are usually very aggressive in the first 24/48hrs of being admitted, threatening fire and brimstone, reject food but we all smile because we understand it is the initial gra gra.

I am heading to the UK for postgraduate studies and I will be sharing a 3 bedroom house with 2 other students, my estimated monthly rent (bills inclusive.......electricity, gas, water, internet, washing machine) will be about £500 which is around N336, 000 (AbokiFx) and by calculations, 2 weeks wages from the intended part time jobs will comfortably pay for the rent......the guy should stop whinning and return back to Nigeria.

This is really sad to read. I don't have to compare myself to Lionel Messi to validate myself. I am comfortably earning per hour what justifies my skill level in the mental health field and with many professional opportunities ahead of me to upskill and increase earnings, so why should I be bothered by what Lionel Messi earns?

I believe that it begins with being realistic with the choice of the course one will be going in for.
