to discipline a child is good but at times parents go overboard.on the other hand , I feel all this 1st world countries encourage bad behavior from kids.

How has the savage beatings many Nigerians received during their childhood all in the name of discipline helped us? Rather Nigeria is brimming with insecurity, fraudster, ritualists, kidnappers or are those Nigerians perpetrating these criminal acts not "disciplined" as children.
