Today while watching a Nigerian Movie title " The Meeting Silverbird Cinema "

I watched this, and I noticed the igbo lady trying so hard to make sure that Rita Dominic a Delta woman accept that she is Igbo and not Delta.

Why are igbos this forceful. Deltans say leave them alone and you are still trying to force yourselves.

Most people seem to be satisfied with the IMEI-VC method @ http://gc.tecno-mobile.com/ . Its even more surprising to see many popular Nigerian Tech. blogs chorus this same inadequate approach without scrutiny. The IMEI-VC test is inaccurate because all that's required to pass this test is to change the sticker behind the phone and write some info. to the phone.
We decided to carry out a research by comparing fake/cloned Tecno phones to original phones (side by side) and it was only a matter of time before we encountered a fake Tecno M3 that passed the IMEI-VC test flawlessly (just as we expected would happen soon).
I'll be discussing some of our findings in this thread to help you better differentiate an original from a fake Tecno phone.

The problem is, we don't get to have the phones with High-end MT processors in Nigeria e.g, the Meizu MX4 running on the ever amazing MT6595 Octa core processor, the Helio P10 with MT6752 might not be available. I think Gionee is a bit honest in loading specs on processors, for example the Gionee M3 is running on a bit above average performing processor (MT6735 I think), but the specs on the phone doesn't over work the processor... So bro I will go for Gionee as the only better MTK phone around... Good luck

Hi, Anachecks, the way to clear cache is as following: settings---apps---(choose a app) Clear cache. But remember to back up important files before you clear it. Also, to ensure your phone has more space to running, you can try to delete some files or apps that do not use usually. Thank you!

Lol, funny you, every lithium ion battery does that. But when you overwork your processor like the G's and the T's does, the effect is always on the battery. So gionee figured that out and rolled out a larger ba3. So long the processor is overworked, the ba3 will depreciate rapidly.

This people should learn to use another processor, Intel, Qualcomm or snapdragon or reduce the phone specs, I.e. display, camera quality, outputs etc..

Ever wondered why its coming with such a large ba3 or why most of these phones come with powerbanks? Their processors are not strong enough.

As you have mentioned pocket-friendly, my brother go for a Mediatek device. Unless you want to inconvenient your budget and shoot for the big boys. Works that way too. A Qualcomm 'pocket-friendly' device may not be all that pocket friendly in the real sense of it. Well, unless it is a Lumia you are buying.

Honestly don't know which to tell you. I use a samsung galaxy. From what they are saying here, you may try infinix since they said it has OTA update feature and affordable too.

That your brand of Tecno can't be upgraded OTA is not enough to say it is a scam. Samsung galaxy note 3 and galaxy S5 were the first and only two phones (not sure though) that came with USB 3.0. But the succeeding galaxy note 4 was launched with USB 2.0 -a downgrade. Will it be said that Samsung is a scam?


You dumped Tecno for Infinix?
You are still where you were. Are both of them not MTK devices? They are! They use mediatek processor with some others including:
Alcatel
Gionee
HTC
Huawei
Lenovo
Xiaomi ......etc.

So, when the Op, said he dumped Tecno, I expected to hear that he went for something higher, with a qualcomm snapdragon but I was disappointed to hear "infinix".Apart form the OTA update, can you tell other differences between the tecno and the infinix?

You updated you new infinix hot note from 4.4 to 5.1 and call it "value for money" that's your opinion cos
I wonder what that really means. I have compared my colleague's galaxy note 4 running lollipop and my note3 running kitkat and saw no reason to upgrade.

Lastly, I think Tecno is more expensive because it is the most popular among those MTK devices. As Your infinix is becoming popular, the price will also be increasing too.

You enjoyed the FLAGSHIP, ALMIGHTY(according to you) tecno phantom z, but when you discovered you can't upgrade OTA, you labelled it a "scam" bros that singular deficiency is not enough for the name calling.

My humble opinion.
