See that's why I said the financial crimes enforcement agennithcies EFCC, ICPC are overwhelmed or just don't want to do their jobs. Since every account is now tied to a BVN owned by a walk-in customer then getting a warrant to flag the recipient's account, tracking and getting the person arrested shouldn't be as hard as rocket science.

But then the EFCC is just an extension of the Nigerian police which speaks volumes on their level of efficiency and professionalism in carrying out simple tasks.
You said it all. Why many of us are so pained kind of country, kind of system we run.

I just did.
A line of caution though! If you're activating it for the first time on Airtel SIM, Keep your PUK number nearby for which you might need your SIM pack. This almost cost me an important call just now.

Shalom
Yes of course. Securing your SIM Pack, puk & serial numbers arew equally important. They are strong proof of ownership of your line.

Sorry for your loss, please call your banks so they can block your accounts with them because the thief might not even need your phone but your registered SIM. That's the most important and first thing to do right away, as to retrieve the phone I really dunno maybe others can help.
One of the first and most important thing people should on getting a sim is to enable sim pin. It definitely puts some control in place.

That is not the first, neither will it be the last.
In fact, don't be surprised, In can assure you that still many Nigerians are even awaiting death sentencing and execution in many such dreaded countries.

MobilityExpress:
If the CJN is getting all this, then only God knows what our former Presidents , ex-Governors and representatives are getting, not to mention ministers and other heads of parastatals, and then we wonder why Nigeria is still a poor 3rd world nation where the poor live with less than $1 per day. The Nigerian government is too costly to run. The day we cut down our government is the day we begin to experience real economic growth
Not a surprise. Those that run the system love it that way, and last thing on their mind will be to change it. Be it those in office now, or those who just "won" election under whether APC or PDP. As usual, the masses can go to hell.

Bashmantech:
People here hype Xiaomi too much, especially the cheaper price compared to other brands in the country. You pay less for shipping because the seller have to declare a fake/lesser price.

Wait until customs seize your goods, I don't pray you experience this though.

The fact that you are going for a budget friendly device with awesome specs doesn't mean you have to look down on Infinix , Tecno, and co.
Which one be hype again or you just joking?
Dont tell me you are one of those leading uninformed/newbie phone buyers to those crappy. devices.
Getting true value for money shouldn't be a crime.

Obainoneandonly:
everyone knows dat its not compulsory and it's not written in d constitution....but what we had is a gentle man agreement dat power must rotate between the two regions.....if they don't stick with it,then they will create a precedent that no one knows d outcome
If it happens, what's the big deal?
North has long been in the saddle longer than South and that is not even the issue.
The real issue is that our leaders are simply selfish and callous. They just don't care.

We understand the need for a political solution.
You will see how people who have nothing will be excited that Onnoghen is leaving meanwhile he is leaving with well over #2.5 billion that they can never have till the end of time!
This is Nigeria. The resignation of the jurist wont still stop same government from shielding those with worse "offence" whom they choose not to prosecute due to their bias. Until the so called anti-corruption war takes the shape and form that the even those worse people in Buhari's camp and good book are not spared, all this is nothing but total rubbish.

CrimeRe: Soldier Seen Beating A Man Who Told Him He’s The Next In Line At An ATM Booth by mindtricks: 11:22pm On Mar 30, 2019
TheGiftedOne:
Abuse of power. Nigerian soldiers would defiantly defy the law by:

1. Owning and driving cars without ever registering them.

2. Those that manage to own/drive registered cars would spray paint everything black or green. Plate numbers inclusive.

3. Ride motor bikes in places okadas are banned.

4. Drive one way and even intimidate you to wait on your own lane.

5. Board buses and cabs without paying.

6. Hit your car and force you to fix damages on theirs.

A commercial bus driver related to us his passengers of how a military van hit him from behind, the soldiers came out to intimidate and forced him to a spare parts market to fix their damages. That day i felt so so sorry for the bus driver.
Yeah! I think these are characteristics well traceable our never-failing Nigerian Police force.
While discipline often tends to come to mind when you remember the military, Nigerian police are very well proudly known for their heroic agberoic ways of doing things. grin

The Nigeruan government is truly funny. You arrest a man, keep him locked up for months on end, you charge the man to court, court Grant's the man bail then you send Soldiers to go to kill the man. The man flees for his life then revoke his bail for saving his own life.

All strange

Nope! I beg to differ. Ignorance is. They simply do not have the info. If they happen to know/hear of the better device, Xiaomi, it'll be a different story entirely.
