MostIncredibleDFirst: That is a very dumb question. Go to google to download the simple instruction contained in the user's manual for windows 8 -- (that is, if you did not buy a brand new system dat came with d user's manual). The instructions contained there are very simple to understand. In d control panel, u can eliminate d windows 8 start-screen if those tiles are also giving u some headache. Your system will thereafter always take u straight to desktop after booting, rather than d start-screen.You see what am saying? I think you are only a geek. Now i'll try you with this question: You are a CEO of a non-technical organization. You have 50,000 employees, 30,000 use computers for their business processes, you have outsourced your IT infrastructure to an IT company. Will you pay for 30,000 employees (non-technical) to be trained on Windows 8? Will you continue with Windows 7? Will you ask all your staff to go to Google and download how to use Windows 8? Please answer those 3 questions. ![]() |
MostIncredibleDFirst: This is jet-age. Always learn to read simple instructions after purchasing a product. You dont nid to enrol in any school nor to be a rocket-scientist to grab a simple instruction. A simple instruction written in plain english is a simple instruction!and how is Windows 8 a 'simple' instruction when i pin 6 files to my start menu on my windows 7 laptop in the office, and i left for home, am in the car, and my mobile is windows 8? |
farano: Lord have mercyi like your dimples ![]() |
No matter how beautiful your application is, No matter how geeky it feels, No matter how brilliant ... Once its not user-friendly .. forget it. When i say user-friendly .. am not separating mobile users from desktop users. That's where Windows 8 failed. Once users cannot easily learn it, you have just produced another application, not a product. We should know that our products are 90% consumed by non-technical people. Who wants to go to Windows 8 school, when he has large chunks of financial or HR data to process ? |

If i find a lady like my mum today, i will marry today! .... ![]() But wait o, there are some clauses i shld watch out for .. I think she is not rigid enough in decisions, and she cld be gullible. But all the same, i can trade that for all the priceless virtues she's got. When i say priceless .. i mean priceless. |

3cycle: So in essence you wanna be 60 before you finally Settle so you can achieve all there is in life? For whom do you make all that Money if there's Nobody to enjoy it with? Thanks man. Pls, are you married? ![]() Then, that, (in bold) is not easy to come by sir. |
3cycle: He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains Favour from the lord.3cycle, thanks for this. But i wanna ask ... why then is it that some married men find it hard to continue in the momentum of their pursuits as compared to when they were single? Some married friends have said, 'Guy, stretch and get the things you want to do while u're still single. When you get married, all the family cares comes first before your own desires'. Not like am scared, i'm doing fine, but all these 'advices' sounds like true. |
So i guess Sensodyne and Colgate sponsored this thread |

hmmn, One reason why am still single ? ... I think my ambitions are too big, and consequently i think less about having a girl. But now my Mum is restless.. and i can't even believe my brother also called to ask me what am doing about it. .. lol, this is crazy |

Proposing is romantic. My friend proposed to her girl at the rooftop of a beautiful hotel in Ikeja. It was a very beauriful moment. I did all the arrangy. I hope to do better when i find her. |
Me and my dad, we are not close. The first day i entered University, he took me there. Immediately i came down out of the car, he called me and said: 'Femi, In the school, you will find the library, and in the same school, you will see clubs. You are the architect of your life. I have paid you my dues. All the best.' Consciously or not, that is what fueled me through. As for my mum, she prays for me on phone every 1st day of the month. dhammyg: MY MOTHER:Dammy Happy Birthday to you. You are now free to go near a boy. |
