seriously, superhero series are one kind. It takes alot to keep its c0nsistency. Titans started with lots of ambiti0n 0nly to l0ose it at the last minute. Same with Arrow, Flash and many otherz.

seriously, the whole of seas0n 2 was underwhelming. Thank God it's over. That's my problem with series having had a stellar 1st seas0n so engaging and nerve racking going for s0mething mediocre. Aside the nightwing and deathstroke fight, everything was flat. Right n0w, i d0n't kn0w whether to thank God that swamp thing wasn't ruined with a potential seas0n 2 that'd have been s0mething underwhelming. Heck, krypt0n had an engaging seas0n 2 than titans.

JJ Abraham left them project because the production was so huge back then from what I read.

And even when he tried to drop so parts in his script, it was still too expensive (as expensive as endgame back then o) That's the reason he was dropped and singer brought in to make a smaller budget Superman (singers budget was still huge)

and d0n't forget it had elements that would've made we superman lovers angry with the film. I.e lex being a krypt0nian sleeper agent working with the CIA, superman being a krypt0nian prince of royal bl0od, krypt0n having never blown up and kal el sent to earth cos his uncle wants to kill him. First of all,he was never a straight man cos if he was there was no way he was going to have sex with another dude,he ha always been bi and that's why it came naturally to him so it's not like the capt was forcing him.

Secondly the fact that it took that long doesn't mean that he left the mission to focus on other missions...it was like he literally hit a dead end and if not for that theatre riot he wouldn't have gotten any leads with his obviously limited resources,even when the press wasn't going his way he left them,there was nothing that implied that they made him abandon his primary goal and were just using him for anything other than publicity/authenticity..you are the one that is adding that part..
When his wife decided to leave he was trying to stop their son from trying to be like him which was meant to be her job cos even if he didn't join any superhero group and was just running solo he would still want to emulate that..so would she also use that as an excuse to leave then too even if he was doing "everything" she told him to?

Yes, Reeves' main purpose was to take down cyclops with the minute men bt did they later help him in that battle? But didn't he help them fight their battles, engage in publicity and photos with the minute men? He literally fought their warz for them while he left his own till the last minute when he recieved the shocker fr0m that white guy. That was what Reeves' wife was trying to tell him. That they'll use him, he even became an h0m0sexual partner for the white guy forgetting he was a straight man. N0w, the reas0n why his wife brought to him the idea of dressing the part of the white folk, was so the white society would accept him believing he was one of them. You saw what happened when he tried to arrest a white man, he wasn't even acceptd as a cop in the police department cos he was black. That was the injustice he startd out fighting against bt the minute men forced him to leave in favor of their own. Go watch the epis0de again. The whole thing didn't happen in a day, so piece together the bits u miss to find out his wife wasn't weak n0r selfish to leave him. She did it for him and also for their child. Go watch the episode again, bro. That's what i love abt this show, it's nerve racking.

I'm not criticizing the show or how it played out I'm just talking about a character in the show(the wife)..I know first hand how bad a broken home is so I can also relate but in this case I find myself particularly blaming the wife as she was the one that encouraged him into it in the first place and then had to leave the man at his weakest point

encouraged him to fight against injustice mind you. The minute men weren't exactly doing that. They were all for white politics and reeves became their lap dog which in turn led to him being absent fr0m his family for a l0ng time, fighting for the white man's sake and n0t justice, which was what he startd out to do initially. The wife warned him but he didn't listen. She didn't encourage him to be a lap dog, she supported him in his fight against crime and injustice.
