As it stands now, the two horror directors WB used for DC did extremely well. Both are horror movie directors under WB.

Black Adam director is also a horror movie director from WB too, so it is smart to give your internal directors an opportunity to do something different. It is obvious that a lot of projects under DC will be given to horror movie directors.

This current flash director to be is well renowned for his hit movie IT which is horror. The script writer is well renowned for bumblebee and the current BoP. So it is definitely good news.

The director doesn't need to be vast as you put it to make the movie good.

Take Patty Jenkins, James wan, David Sandberg as example, nobody knew them but they did extremely well and delivered the desired result. This is what is needed, to be result driven.
